Default Thursday 9-6

Good morning everyone,

Reporting in from last evenings weigh-in and I cannot believe that I lost 3/4# so I am back in leeway. Honestly don't know how that happened....but I certainly won't complain!!!

Congrats to those that have had losses this week...and Angie you did do well with your vacation. Weigh to go girl!!!

For those that are struggling, never give up....and I do agree that writing everything down that you eat truly does help. It can be amazing what we put in our mouths without really thinking about it.....and then see how quickly they calorically add up.

Sherry [eeyores sun], meant to tell you that my 15yo daughter receives home health 5 days a week. It is of tremendous help and gives me a little break....I surely know those stresses of being a caretaker! I'm a big stress eater...but I have lost 60 3/4#'s to goal. Still would like to go down 10 more, and maybe one day I will. I wish you success on your weight loss journey.

Have a great day everyone and take one minute, then one hour and one day at a time. Food will always be there for us and I have to constantly remind myself that I don't need to finish everything 'now'...it will be there tomorrow for me to enjoy. Moderation is the key!!! WE CAN DO THIS!!!!

TOPS Hugs,
Summer

Good morning all. All is well this morning.
Summer congrats on your weight loss, and for being back in leeway. Let me give you a big hug.

I haven't been posting lately, changed my hours, and I'm trying to get myself reorganized. I get up about 1/2 hour earlier, and Brandon isn't going to sleep again till 10 pm. Yesterday, he woke up at 4:30, and never went back to sleep, and he only had a small nap, cuz i pick him up now at 2:30. The hours are great, I'm getting a lot more done. I've been going to the gym to workout, and I have a lot more energy.

Eleni, sherri, penny, christie- I hope all you ladies are doing well.
If I didn't mention ya, I'm still thinking about you. "CAN WE DO THIS, YES WE CAN".
Everyone hang in there. This time next month, we will all weigh less.

TOPS HUGS,
WENDY

Talking Thanks for the welcome

Good Morning Ladies!!!!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome, it sure makes a body feel good.

Congratulations on all the losses!!! Yipekio that is just wonderful! I would love it if each of you could tell me a little more about yourself. Things like where you are in this weight loss journey, kids, things you like to do.....etc......

Here's a really quick summary about me..........I turned the 4-0 this year, I'm married, 2 wonderful girls, 14 and 4, I'm a home health nurse, been overweight basically ALL my life. Have tried nearly every diet known to man and even made up some of my own. I have a lot of health problems and NEED to get this weight off. I love crafts of all types and just to sell woodcrafts on the side. I started last year at 297lbs and am at 280 now. I had lost more but have gained some back.

I missed my meeting this week but I didn't have anyone to do my visits, but I'm working on that.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday!!!!!

~:Sherry~

Default Good Day - Yes it will be!!

Well, I can not describe how bad I was yesterday, I guess I wanted to top off that little bit of gain I had. I ate a sandwich at subway, and not one of the seven low fat version ones. I think my solution to this is to stay away from there unless I can start eating the lower fat version ones, I grabbed the nutrition handout on the way out and realized, wow, these things are loaded with fat and of course I can hardly eat one without mayo on it. What is the deal there, someone was telling me to try the spice mustard or honey mustard in replace of the mayo. The hardest thing is when you know you like something and you are trying to find a replacement for a food, and you know what tastes good. Do you think we are trying to brainwash our own brain into thinking new thoughts? Kinda funny I think sometimes, but I dont give up. Well, not gonna let one bad day ruin me. I am back on the writing it all down today. I also am trying to eat my three meals and a snack, you dont realize how hard that is sometimes until you start writing down.

Hope everyone is doing well. I am gonna have to go and get on with my day.

Angie
