Unhappy The Week Before Christmas

Well, close enough. The week before Xmas Eve, anyway.

This is going to be a challenging week for all of us Lets all continue to post and support each other. I know I need it. Although I really didn't feel like it, Icame home and walked for an hour in the snow. My husband thought I was crazy, but I just had to, as I ate cake and cookies at work throughout the day today. It seemed every time I came around a corner in the office there were more goodies!! I'm hoping all those goodie makers and bringers will be on vacation next week, but probably not! If I see it in front of me, I eat it!

My goal right now is just not to gain from now until the end of the year.

So...post often and lets keep each other encouraged!! Enjoy in moderatiuons everyone!

Lyn

Hi Lyn,
You are right that the next few weeks will be very hard to stay on plan. There is so many goodies to have and time is limited to workout.

I applaud your effort to go walk after eating those work goodies. It's those little things that will will make the difference at the scales.

I will try to post at least every other day. It will help me to remember to not throw caution to the wind. I already had a gain last week and my goal is to get that gain off by the last weighin of the year. I have 2 weeks to loose that 3 lbs.

Who else is going to committ to be here the next two weeks? Come on!! WE need you!!

Hi, count me in too. I am trying very hard not to gain any weight during the holidays. I wanted to take off 4 more pounds before the end of the year, but I'll be happy just to not gain.

Yes, it is very hard right now. I am trying to park far away in parking lots to get more exercise, and try to choose the healthier snacks that everyone is bringing in. Man, I feel bloated though and can't wait until people quit bringing junk in to work

I'm around, but I am not trying to lose right now. I will practice maintenance in this time of goodies and temptations. My goal until New Year's is simply NOT to gain I hate to think of how crowded the gym will become once all those New Year's resolutions sink in...
