Hello All,
How was everyone's weekend? I participated in a TOPS walk over the weekend. It was the first time one was held in our area. We held it for the SouthEast Area of Ohio.

I was on the planning committee and was in charge of the trail signs and keep everyone motivated on the trail.
It was a fun time and we are hoping that once it's sent in to the TOPS news they will run our story of it.

I ate way to much yesterday and I can really tell it this morning. I've got to quit doing that to myself! I'm excited because my workout partner is home from a 2 week vacation and I'm ready to get committed again. It really is important to me to keep losing.

I did have a good weigh-in on Thursday. I had a .75 lb loss. My goal that I set for myself was to lose something each week until Labor Day, and I've done that for the past 2 weeks since I set the goal. I've got to get busy this week and stay ON PLAN so I'll be down again on Thursday.

Have a great day. I hope to see a lot of posts and I promise to do my best to get here once a day.

Susie

Susan, Your walk sounds like a big success.
Just wanted to say hello. I have to get out to pool or I will procrastenate(sp)
It is hard to go out there as I was expecting better results from pool exercise.I have worked my way up to 2 hours in the pool.(I don't work so I have the time) I have gone from walking 5 minites to 30 minutes.Yes it is boring but necessary.I can not walk 5 minutes on land. But I walk then do streches and then different exercises and then swim laps and then finish with a 10 minute walk.Pounds should be falling off. naught !!
But I keep thinking it will happen.
Well I better get the butt out there. Have a great day.

Susie- The walk sounded like lots of fun...I like getting involved with things like that...it is motivating to see others that are in the same boat I am with weightloss

Eleni- (mom) Wow you are doing alot in that pool lady You will see the results you are wanting, I am sure of it

Well as for me, I started phase 2 yesterday and feel good so far...I was craving ww bread like crazy so I had a slice and my scale was up 1/2 pound...oh well I know I am eating healthier, and know I have a scale addiction so I will just have to ignore it
My hubby actually pulled me off the scale this morning and carried me out of the bathroom so I guess that should have been a hint He said I couldnt weigh anymore today WEll I hope you all have a great day and know I am thinking of you all

Back from vacation--and back on healthy eating mentality! I didn't do too horribly over vacation, especially since we walked every day (zoo on Thursday, downtown Atlanta on Friday, Callaway Gardens on Saturday). I normally weigh myself "empty" (first thing in the morning, before breakfast, after I pee), but I hopped on the scale when I got home yesterday (normal clothes, already had breakfast, lunch, and drinks, etc.) just out of curiosity, and I was only up by less than 4 pounds. Now, 4 pounds may sound like a lot, but I know that I drank hardly ANY water on my whole trip, so I know some of it will fall off in the next few days as I get back on my normal water consumption cycle. I also know (WARNING: TMI ahead) that I did not have a bowel movement the entire trip (for some reason, I don't "go" when I'm not in my normal routine--I often don't "go" even on the weekends), so I know that being back in a normal routine as far as that is concerned will help also I'm hoping to stay the same this week by Thursday night's weigh-in. I know I can't go to the gym today between jobs like I usually do because I have to go all the way home to get my uniform for job #2 (got up late this morning and didn't have time to iron and pack it), but I should still be able to get in 3 workouts (tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday) before the big weigh-in Well, hope everyone else is doing well. I'm excited for our TOPS meeting this week because we are having a 4th of July holiday contest to begin
