Susie--that's great that your husband is so helpful like that! I hope when I move in with my boyfriend (Jeff) this fall, things will actually be easier instead of more difficult. He has helped me stick to the only-eat-out-one-a-week thing, so there is hope

Well, having cut my hours at job #2 way back, I don't have to work tonight after I leave job #1 This means I get to spend more time at the gym I really don't like working out--the getting tired and sweaty and hot when it's already 95 degrees outside--but I know I need it in order to shed this extra person I'm carrying around! Hopefully my 4 days of going to the gym this week will show up (or rather, not show up) when I weigh-in tomorrow night at my TOPS meeting. I'm so glad I actually get to go every week now!

I wanted McDonald's last night. Badly. Just a cheeseburger, maybe a small fry......my mouth waters just thinking about it. BUT I know what my goals are, and I know that I have rewards set up to keep me on the right track. I know that tomorrow night after my TOPS meeting, I will treat myself to a sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub from Subway (YUM ), which is just as tasty and a thousand times healthier. I also know that this weekend, Jeff and I will eat out somewhere, and I can order anything I want. It's my one splurge night a week--helps to keep me from depriving myself and then going on a frustrated binge. Just keep thinking about the treats to come, and ignore the McDonald's cravings...

Well, hope everyone is having a good week so far--it's halfway over!

It's horrible I've gain the weight because of the PCOS I was diagnossed with when I was 18. I just wanted to let you know that your postings have helped me! Thanks and I'll keep in touch...Anne

Just a quick hello. My hubby came to the rescue again.I have been exercising in my pool but it is a lot of sun.I thought up the idea of getting an umbrella to attach to steps so I could do part of exercises out of sun. Told Bill my idea and he took care of it tonight.Went and got the umbrella after supper and then fixed it so I can use it tomorrow. I usually can't get him to do stuff right away. But he knows the pool is only way I can exercise but doesn't want me in sun so much. So he took care of it right away. Now I can exercise without being in sun for 1 1/2 hours.
Have done better with eating today.
