Default Let's get started...It's Monday!

Hello,
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was jam packed but I did some fun things. I went for my massage, it was so nice! and I swear that I keep feeling better and better each day.

My nephews Confirmation was yesterday. I'm not Catholic but I always enjoy those things and the Bishops message to them was very inspiring.

My YMCA is starting a new 6 weeks challenge. We have weigh-in tonight and take our measurments and body fat. There will be weekly weigh-ins and we have to turn in weekly food and exercise journals. There are some nice prizes to win and I'm excited about it.

I must get to work, but I wanted to start the day off right by getting here and checking in.

Susie

Default Hello Susie.

I'm Belle and new to this thread. I'm glad you had a nice week end. Mine was ok, but I did seem to be spinning my wheels. I've let myself get behind in house cleaning and I can't seem to catch up, things keeps getting in the way.
Food wise I had a good week end. I'm hoping to have another good loss this week.
It doesn't seem like too many people writes on this board. Is that true?
Anyway now that I've answered maybe I'll get a notice in my email telling me that someone has written.
Good luck on tonights weigh in.
Belle

Default Woop Woop Woop Woop

That's the sound I make when I do the Happy Turtle Dance. Weigh in was tonight and I was the week's best loser. 6 3/4 pounds. I even got to pick a prize from the treasure chest (I chose a water bottle). Today was gorgeous and tomorrow we're going on the bike ride that we ran out of time to do today. Feeling good. Now, how can I top this week?
Yawn. .. tired... going to bed.. hoping we get an early start on our bike ride (have an extra day off this week... it just gets better and better.

Default Proud for you and of you..Hotcupojava

I am so happy for you. I would say I've been where you was with your weight, but I didn't get quite that for, I was well on my way, and if I don't get control I'll be there. What I am saying I know how happy you must be. I remember when I weighed 169 pounds and I thought it was offal, but the more you weigh the worse it is. As I said before your doing so good and I'm so proud for you, I know the pain of carrying a lot of weight. I'm so glad you hear you can ride a bike. Right now I don't even walk to the mailbox. I have a bad knee, but the weight is the biggest problem. Keep posting your success's, it's an encouragement to me. Congrats on the wonderful weight loss this week. Belle
