Good morning ladies,

I just cannot get over where the time flies. I have been been gone for about a week and things just do not slow down. There has been something happening every single day {evening} leading up to daughter #1's HS graduation. All of the work that went into scholorship applications is starting to pay off, and gee, are we ever thankful.

There is no way that I will be able to make my TOPS meetings today or next Wed due to award dinners. Very nice, but just what I don't need. It is so hard when I do not have any control over what is being served and I will not take food in to these events. Not the right place or time, so I will just have to cut down during the day in preperation for whatever may be served.

Eleni, I am so glad that things are moving in the right direction for you. Take lots of nice deep breathes and visualize your future with the success that you are striving for. Keep the feet moving one in front of the other.......

Sherri, Sorry you haven't felt well and it sure sounds like you are overwhelmed. Notice how you and I are not on the board as much as we used to be? Just do what you can and set your priorities as to what is needed for each day. Family definitely comes first for me and I just hope that others understand that. If they don't, that is there problem not mine.....I have too much else to worry about!!! Keep that sunny personality of yours intact...it is precious!

Penny, you have been doing well and sound so energetic!! I need to touch you so some rubs off on me. In response to another thread where you asked about hormones, YES, they affect our appitite {has to do with seritonin} and I struggle with it also. Just do the best you can.....

Unfortunately, must go.....daughter #2 needs my attention. To everyone else, continue on your road to better health. Don't forget the water....I haven't done well with this lately and boy can I tell!!!!!!

Probably will not be able to report back here until after Memorial Day....gee only 2 weeks away!!!!! Take good care of yourselves dear friends!!

Hi Summer! Welcome back! I know things are busy right now with weddings, graduations, birthdays, etc. This is always a busy time of the year! Just stay on plan as much as you can! We will be here when you get back! Take care Penny

Hey Summer,

Welcome back. Yes we used to be on the boards a lot. I guess time is a funny thing. Sometimes we have it and most of the time we don't. I am so glad that all of the hard work that you and your daughter put into the applications is paying off. That will be a big relief for you guys. I know she has worked hard and really wants to go to college. I am working right now as I talk to all of you. I am doing some printing so I snuck in here to say hi to everyone and check my email.LOL Keep your head held high summer. When things slow down for you then you can get back to work full force. For now just watch what you eat and try to cut down on your portions. You will be fine.

You are doing great. We all get those cravings. I think that the cycle does have something to do with it. Just try your best. You are heading in the right direction. You are continuing to lose and that is great. Be proud of you for how far you have come. Don't look too far into the future and keep thinking about how far you have to go. You will get there. Remember slow and steady wins the race. Keep up the great work.

How is everything going with you? Are you still on track and doing well? I know you can do it. We are here for you.

I am feeling much better today. I did 45 mins of exercise this morning and I rode my bike tonight for 30 min. I went up hills also. LOL My legs were killing me while riding. And my butt as well. Those bike seats really kill don't they?LOL So I think I did good. I did have chineese tonight but I had white rice instead of fried rice and I didn't eat it all.
I think I am going to go back to the WW. That is how I lost before. But this time I am going to add pts to what I was eating and see if that makes a difference. My friend that goes to ww said that most of the people that weigh in always go over their pts for the week and they still have a loss. So I think the ranges are set too low. I will try adding 5 pts to what I normally eat. That should bring me up to the cal. I need in a day. So we will see and with the extra exercise hopefully I can get that scale to budge for me. I have to meet my goal. I am disgusted. My jeans are getting tight again and that is depressing in itself. I am going backwards instead of forward.
I am going to go for now. I have to look through the program book for tops. I am going to help run the meeting tomorrow. Our leader is in the hospital and the co leader and many others won't be there. So I said I would do the program. I have one that we were going to do. But there isn't going to be many people. So I thought I would look for some more. Just in case.

Hi Ladies! I have had a very stressful day today with kids and work ( and hubby) but I am going to bed soon and get up fresh tomorrow! I hope everyone has a great night! I don't have time to write to everyone lately. But I will soon when things finally slow down again! Thanks for the cards from special people !!!!
