Default My menu for today...

I'm having a hard time mustering up the energy to post, but here is my menu today.

Breakfast~ A tad over 1/2 cup granola with 1/4 FF milk, coffee, iced tea.

Lunch~ Pita pocket with two slices of turkey lunchmeat and two
slices processed cheese, alfalfa sprouts, tomato and dijon mustard.

Snack~ While fixing dinner (Shame on me!) About 1-1/2 dozen grapes.

Dinner~ Meatloaf, broccoli and 3 canned peach halves.

Dessert~ Haven't had it yet, but it will be pumpkin spice cake with
FF Cool Whip and SF hot cocoa with almond extract and FF Cool Whip.

Bedtime~ A small glass of tomato juice to take meds with. I am
supposed to take meds with food. Tomato juice is so thick and rich
that I think that it qualifies as a food more so than a beverage.

Default lbsbgone Menu Thread 1/25/05-1/27/05

These are today thru Thursday's menu's. Friday, I will find out what is on sale in the grocery circular and shop then. That will determine what I eat for that time period.

Tuesday- Breakfast~ Oatmeal w/ oatbran and wheat bran, LF cottage cheese, orange, water, coffee w/ coffeemate, iced tea.

Lunch~ Lamb chop (Cooked several days ago and needs to be eaten up.) Carrots and pasta. Water

Dinner~ Meatloaf, broccoli, canned fruit, decaf iced tea.

Dessert~ A piece of fat free homemade pumpkin spice cake topped w/ FF Cool Whip.

Wednesday~ Sourdough english muffin w/ 1tsp. margarine. LF Cottage Cheese, orange, coffee.../ tea.

Lunch~ Pita pocket stuffed with alfalfa sprouts, tomato, cheese and deli turkey lunch meat and mustard.

Dinner~ Weight Watcher's meal at Applebee's with my Applebee's Christmas gift card.

Thursday~ Breakfast Same meal as Tuesday.

Lunch~ Same meal as yesterday.

Dinner ~ Homemade soup.

Dessert~ Piece of homemade spice/pumpkin fatfree cake.

Friday grocery shopping.

Hopefully, by Friday I will feel better and clear headed enough to read and clearly understand the exchange system and use that with my food choices.

I also will be reading more about the new food pyramid.

I want to keep my calories around 1,500 a day.

Only, I will be counting food exchanges more so than calories.

No more chocolate for me today. Got that out of my system and am enjoying a big glass of water as I type.

Best wishes for a good day for all of you.
