Hi Wendy,
Sorry to hear that you are facing surgery. I had a Hysterectomy a year and a half ago. It was my second time dealing with fibroids. I had one removed in 1992 when I was 27 and then my uterus fell in 2002 and I had the surgery in 2003. Not only had my uterus fallen but I had fibroids. I was on the pill at the time and it did slow the growth of them down, but my first one was the size of a baseball (I have a picture of it). If you want to talk about this, feel free to ask me any questions.
It sounds scary, but it's not. Mine was abdominal and I did it awake with a spinal and and epidural (my choice).
Huggsss to you.
How's everyone else doing today? I tell you, it's been a tough week for me and wanting to eat. I made a pact with myself today that I would not eat seconds of anything and I haven't. I'm headed out for a workout and when I get back I know I won't eat, because I have to take my Elmiron and you can't eat for an hour after you take it, and by that time, I'm headed to bed.
I'm almost certain I'm going to be up tomorrow at my weigh-in...but I know why and I'm taking care of it now.
Have a nice evening ladies. I'll talk to you all sometime on Friday. (thursday's are crazy days with school and work and TOPS, so I never usually make it here).
Susie
