Happy Thanksgiving to all,
It is only 4:30 am but couldn't get back to sleep so will stay up awhile. The doctors visit yesterday was not what we were expecting. It seems that there are government regulations that are now in effect that rule whether I can have procedure done before January. He said if I had the money that Bill Gates has there would be no question we would just do it.I have to have a special test done that must show certain things or my insurance will not pay. In January these restrictions will no longer be a factor. But due to trying to get it done now because deductions have been made for this year I have to have this test done.It is a test where he will make my heart malfunction. It sounded very unpleasant. If certain things happen he can do the procedure at that time following testing. If by some chance all the criteria is not met I will have to wait til January and he will do it then as rules change then. Most likely he will be able to do it before Jan. Either way I go into hospital on Dec 7 and come home next day. Hopefully with defib/pacemaker.So altho I have a hospital date I will not know if I am getting it done until that day. Recuperation period is almost nothing according to him. My main restriction will be limiting the use of my left arm for awhile.He said I can get on a treadmill in two days if I want and drive next day as long as I use right arm. So it is still the same in that I still do not know for sure when test will be done,just that it will be at some point in time.

Two of my grand daughters are coming Friday to put my Christmas trees up and decorate for me. It is nice when grand kids get big enough to be a help. I wasn't sure I was going to do any decorating. I will not do as much as I usually do but I do enjoy my two small trees I put up. Actually I am going to let them do it all.

I'm saying prayers for you and asking Him to send you a positive, healing spirt.

With the upcoming hospital date on your mind, I'm sure you have moments when it's hard to focus on all that is going on this time of year. What you are about to go through is a big ordeal. I don't know you personally, like many here do, but I know that you will get through this and come out of it all well. You have a very good "mindset".

I'm glad your grandchildren are coming to help you. I am only 39 years old, but I don't have any children of my own, and I sometimes worry about what will happen to me when I need to have someone help me out. But I know that He will provide for me then.

Enjoy your company and take it easy.

Thanks for the update. We will all be saying prayers for you that you can have this procedure done at the time of the test. I know it will make a huge difference and make you feel so much better. I am so glad to hear that you are going to let the grandkids do the decorating for you. It will be nice to sit back and enjoy this time of year without stressing that things aren't getting done. I am sure they are excited to help you. You are always there for them now they can help you. Have a great day lady.

Thank you for your blessings. I need to sit back and count mine as well. We tend to overlook what we have in life compared to so many others. I know I am truly blessed with this board and my friends here and my family.
I had a nice day yesterday. Got to take a nap with my daughter I so needed that. Being tired makes it hard for me to stay on track. Then we went to my parents for dinner to join everyone. We are going to cook our thanksgiving dinner on saturday. We have friends coming over and my husbands brother and his wife. So we will have a house full. It will be fun.
I am at work today have to work 1/2 of the day. Then it is home to get some things done there.
