Default Thursday

Good morning ladies
Susie-you are so right it is difficult to get everything in. WHat are your courses? But having a plan does help. I try to get my workouts (or to be workouts)done in the mornng. Around 4-5. I actually got one in yesterday afternoon. I do walking tapes in the house. Could get out and walk. Maybe today would be a good day for that. We will see. I'm not one just to go outside.

Penny, sherri, Christie, LaDean how are you ladies doing?

Eleni- Do you all have to prepare for the lastest storm?

Me- Got my walk in yesterday. A 4 mile, yeah . Went to Brandon's popscicle social last night. I like his teacher this year. They just built the school, and it is small, I was expecting something more, but can't complain. They are a small charter school, and they can always add on later. The important thing is his education. With the public school he would have up to 30 kids in his class. His class has 10, they will only cap at 12. He is learning spanish. They don't have hot lunches there, but you can buy lunch though the school. We will be taking ours, but probably be buying chocolate milk. The boy likes his chocolate milk. They don't have a lunch room either. They have what they are calling the common ground. The center of the school. They have the young 5-3rd. grade on one side of the building, and the 4th-8th on the other. They will be locking the hall doors to each end durning school time, so no one can just enter the school. People will have to check into the office. This is awesome. Specially these days. Each end has it's own bathroom. The kindergarteners have a sink in their room, and the young 5's actually have a bathroom. Hard for them to get to the potty sometimes, I know, brandon came home a couple of times with different clothes on. well anyway. Garret, my plan didn't quite work yesterday, but we are getting closer. He finally went to sleep about 11, after on and off again of being awake for 3 hours. At 10:00 I gave him some cereal. Didn't think the boy could possibly be that hungry, since he had just had a eaten. He slepted for 6 hours. Now if I could only get that in at 9. We will get there.

Hubby's sister is in this weekend from Tenn., actually last night. They came 2 days early. We are having a cookout for hubby's cousins. I call them Aunt, cuz they are a few years older than us. They are retiring, medical reasons, and moving to Arizona. They use to live in Chicago. I'm going to miss them bunches. Need to get some things for them, cuz they have done so much for us. I have to go to the store anyway tomorrow, and I'm thinking that is a perfect time to do it. I'm thinking about getting a picture of the boys and enlarging it. They will like that.

Anyway, I know
Well gotta get busy. Hope everyone is doing well.

Good morning everyone.

I'm hoping and praying for a good weigh-in tonight. I think the scales are going to be down. I just got to remember to not eat anything salty at lunch...I retain water very, very easily.

I had a great workout last night. My workout partner and I bypassed the weightroom for our upper body workout and went into the aerobic room to use the medicine balls, the bands and things like that. It was really different and I can tell my body responded to it (that means it hurts when I reach, twist..breathe! )

I'm one week away from my yearly checkup (it's Sept. 8) and I'm getting antsy. I have delt with so many female problems in the past, I just really, really need this to be a good check-up. Would you mind my asking you to keep it in prayer? Thanks so much. I believe in the power of prayer and I feel a little extra wouldn't hurt.

Shortstack: 4 miles...what an awesome walk! You said you do tapes. Are they the Walk Away the Pounds? I have those, they are really good to do when I can't get outside.

You asked about my courses. I'm taking Accounting this quarter. I know it's a lot of work. I've talked to others about it. That's why I'm only taking one class. I still need to have some sort of a life and my husband can't do it all around the house (well he probably could, but...let's just say there is a difference in the way we do things )

Well, the mail is here..time to sort it and get started on everything else.

I'll check in later.

Hope to see more posts!

Susie
