Good morning all,

Just a quick note to say hi before I get going for the day. I will be on the road all day today working. But don't worry I have an eating plan. I will be taking my water with me (1/2 of it) and I will bring my apple with me as well. I am having a 1/2 turkey sub with mustard and no cheese. Just turkey lettuce and tomato. That way I can stay on track today and still have a loss for thursday.

I did good yesterday. I did have an icecream cone last night but I was 5 pts under my min. for the day so I know it didn't hurt me.LOL But I did do 30 min. of aerobics and I did go for a walk and penny just for you I did do the strength training last night for 20 mins. LOL Thanks for that by the way.

I hope everyone else has a great day. I have to go peel my potatoes for dinner. I am putting ham & potatoes in the crockpot to cook while I am gone today so my dinner will be done when I get home.

Well Sherri you just GO GIRL!!!!!!!! You are doing so awesome and I know you will continue. It is hard to stray from your plan when you already have the whole thing mapped out! See, I dont know what I am eating for lunch today and there is nothing at work right now to eat so we will see what happens. I guess I will find something. I hope everyone is having a great day! Get out of bed, so start that exercise and get some water! Let's start this day off right ladies!!!!!! Penny

Well here I am for a quick check in. I weigh in today and since I missed last week and have been on a horrible eating pattern for the last two weeks I am sure I am way up. With all the chaos etc. I have not been journalling and worst of all I have not been drinking my water. I hope to get back started on that at least. I answered the poll and it seems others of you have the same problem of afternoon eating. Does anyone have any good tips on how to avoid that danger? I know a light snack would be a good thing but I have a tendency to overdo and sometimes binge at that time of the day.

Hello everyone,

I just have a few minutes left on my break so thought I would pop in and say hi.

We had a showing of the house last night so it was a madhouse trying to get everything ready. the realtor called today and there is someone who would like to come this afternoon. We have asked the realtor that either my husband or I would like to be home because of the dogs. I can't leave early (as much as I would like to) but my husband is trying to get off early. It was a late showing last night so hopefully there aren't too many more like that. It is nice to see some activity anyway.

Sherri.....sounds like you have today all planned out. It is great you were able to plan your food and water.......stops the urge to pick up a hamburger and fries. I had ice cream the other night too.....it is the time of year. Our dogs love ice cream (we don't know how much our new one has had it). We always get them one too and Rusty (our newest one) had a little too much. He ate his, Rascal's (our other dog) cone....not much ice cream left and then my husband's cone that did have ice cream in it. He looked so funny.....he was holding the cone between his front feet, licking the ice cream out of the cone and his eyes were closing.....he was so content. I said to my husband......he doesn't get that much ice cream again because I don't think it is good for him....we are bad parents.

Penny....hope you found something good to eat. I always try and bring all my food because I know I will gravitate to things I shouldn't if I don't bring everything.

Donna.....glad to see you again. If you gained.....it happens. You have been through a very stressful time and it is understandable. I don't have any tips on afternoon eating. I bring all my food to work so I only have limited food with me and I refuse to buy anything else. I keep some hard candies (I get good ones and not just sugarfree) and when I feel the urge for something....I have one of those. They have helped me a lot.

Better get back to work. My husband just called and he can't get off early so I have to call the realtor. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Hello everyone

I don't post often, but I want to start! Hopefully coming to the boards regularly will keep me on track better. I missed my meeting today as I went on a field trip with my daughters 1st grade class. I usually don't miss meetings but this was for something special. I joined the new challenge and plan to keep up this time. Well I hope everyone has a good evening.

Hey there everyone,

Well I didn't do good today. I couldn't work all day like I wanted to. I ran out of brochures and business cards to hand out so I had to come home. I did have a turkey and ham on a hardroll for lunch with no cheese and mustard so that was good. But then I had those wow potato chips the ff ones. But I only had 1/2 the bag and threw the rest out. I was so hungry today I couldn't believe it. I ended up going over in my pts today. I am mad at me for this. But I think that maybe because I have been so low in pts that my body just needed the food but I didn't have to go over.LOL I am going to do better tomorrow. Plus my scale is up 4 lbs from last week and that discouraged me because I had been working hard all week. I know that I need to stay off the scale that is my downfall. I am going to stay on plan tomorrow. I have to make my goal this time. But I am wearing a pair of jeans today that I haven't been able to wear in years or even 2 months ago. So that is good. I am glad about that.

Donna,

Don't worry about the gain you have been through a lot in the past weeks. Just get refocused on you and get back to your plan and you will be fine. You will have a loss next week for sure.

Marie,

That is great that you are having so much activity with your house. We had ours on the market for a year or more at one time and no one came to look at it. Hopefully it will sell quickly for you. Then the only thing is that you need to find a place for yourselves.LOL It will fun for you to look and pick out another place I am sure to start new memories.

Penny,

You need to get more organized. I know I can't talk for myself today. But I know that for me usually if I have things planned for my eating then I usually do better. You have to start bringing good things to eat for work and leave your money home so you can't buy any chips or junk.LOL Start over tomorrow. That is the good thing about tomorrow it is always there for us to make a fresh start.
Keep your head held high and keep up the great work. Don't overdo the exercise though.

Sorry you missed your meeting. Did you have a good week? Do you think you would have had a loss? I am sure you would have. It is important to be there for our kids and sometimes that means we have to give up something for us right? How was the fieldtrip? What did you do? Glad to know that you are going to keep up with the challange that is good for you. You can do it.
