Well I can't believe our challenge ends tomorrow. I know that I did not complete my 10 pounds but I still tried very hard. And I know everyone else did also. I guess I just took for granted that it was 10 pounds. I said oh heck ten pounds in 13 weeks, I can do this with my eyes closed. But my eyes are open and I still did not complete it! I guess we will see tomorrow. Thanks to Sherri for keeping up with everything. THANKS

Well, I am back in the right frame of mind again. I walked 4 miles yesterday. I thought long and hard while I walked and I have never walked 4 miles before!!!! So I am back on track!

I am so happy for you Donna! Congrats on the loss!

THANK YOU WENDY!!!! FOR the encouragement! I really need it right now!

Hi all,

Well it is 11:15 pm here and I just finished work for the night. I am checking in here and hitting the sack for the night.

I did great today. I just finished a bowl of cereal but I am still under my points for the day by 1 1/2.

I turned to a bowl of cereal rather then the oreo cookies. LOL

My scale has not gone down at all this week. I have not had any junk food and I have not gone over my points all week. Well I did by 3 points on friday. But I made that up throughout the week by having low points on some days. Today I didn't get enough points.
But I am not going to get down about it. It is that time of month also and I know it is probably water weight. So if I don't lose anything tomorrow at weigh in I know I have to lose the following week. I really hope I have a loss to show because tomorrow night is our open house and I don't want to get up there in front of everyone and say I had a gain when I am the one that organized the open house. I want to set good example in case anyone shows up. I really hope we get some people for it. I put a lot of work into it. But I have not gotten any calls about it either. There is supposed to be one lady that is going to go. But I didn't get in touch with her to confirm if she would be there or not. I hope she comes.

But I do know that if I get down about the scale and don't concentrate on what and how I am doing then I will get off track again and I won't reach my next goal either. So I am going to stay on track wether I gain or lose tomorrow. But it would be nice if I lost something. I do know that I have had a lot of carbs this week. So next week I am setting a goal for me to stay low in carbs for 3-4 days. I know I will lose doing that. I have done it before. I am within points but very high on the carb end of it. That doesn't help I know.

Penny I am so glad to hear that you are on the right track now. Hey it doesn't matter that you didn't make the 10 lbs for the challange. What matters most is that you didn't give up. You did much better then I did. I thought the same way 10 lbs in 13 weeks no problem. But that is when I was on track and doing well. I am so proud of your accomplishments with this challange and the challanges that you and everyone face everyday. You are doing a great job. 4 miles is great.

You didn't say how you were doing. Just think I bet someday you will be able to walk 4 miles also without them burying you.LOL I hope all is well on your end to.

Glad you liked the enemy within us. It has helped me a few times also. Especially the first time I read it. I really needed it then.LOL
