Hi Ladies~ Yes, I am down here in Louisiana in the midst of Mardi Gras. The streets have been crazy around here and we are about 45 minutes from Burbon Street. I never go down there but alot of people will be. It is suppose to rain on Fat Tuesday so maybe it might slow some of the crowds. Yeah Right

How is everyone doing? I agree with Eleni. The boards are extremely slow here but I too am guilty.

Hey Coco ~ What kind of puppy did you get? I am with you on the gaining I have also put on 10 pounds or so. We need to get back on these boards and support each other. We are not going to get through this alone. I was always complaining about not losing enough weight well now I would be happy to stop gaining.


Nita~ I am so sorry to hear about your sister's stroke. I will keep them in my prayers. I am glad you are back on track though. It is nice when you are both doing the same weight loss plan. Hope you are doing great with it!

Eleni ~ Congrats again on the new grandson. How is your daughter recovering? I am glad you are so involved in your art classes. It is wonderful to have something new to learn. Maybe one day I will get an "ELENI" original! You can lose this weight! You have done it before and are still doing it. Keep it up! Or down I should say

Sherri ~ Well, it looks like Megan is growing up with all this girl stuff You need to get some rest for the rest of this pregnancy. You will need it later.... I am glad things are going ok with your sugar levels. Isn't it when you have pregnancy diabetes you have larger babies? I know you were saying about the baby being a little bit big right? I have been thinking about that. But I am glad that they are saying you can go full term. He will be here soon!

Well as far me..... I have not been doing good. I am trying to get back on track though. We went to Bioloxi Mississippi yesterday to an Marine Life Oceaniarium. The boys had a blast. It was a 2 hour drive but they did great on it. I did pack us a picnic basket. I put our sandwiches, fruit and baked chips in it. So I was happy I didn't eat junk. We had a great time!

Well I will check back in later. And hopefully the boards will pick up! I know I really need the support.

I will try to post once a day at least.

Hey Penny,

I am here for you girl. Yes you do have bigger babies with the gestational diabetes. Although megan was only 8 lbs 5 oz. I didn't think that was too big. Don't know how big Jesse will be. But yes he will be here soon I can't wait.
Sounds like you all had a great time yesterday. It is great to be able to do things like that with the kids and as a family. I will be hounding you this week girl.LOL You can do this.
I am doing well. Had too many sweets last night at the party and the sugar went way up but the shots brought it back down. Now I have to get back on track after I finish my rice krispy treats.LOL
I am here alone today and it seems nice. John and megan went tubing with my sister's husbands family and our family. There will probably be between 20-25 people going. It is a great time. Megan and I have gone for the last 2 years. It is a first for john. She has been waiting to go for months now.

A beautiful Florida Sunday to you all, So far we have had a good weekend. I took Bill to CK's in Tampa Sat night for his birthday and had a nice time. He said it will be hard for him to top it next month on my birthday. I was doing good on eating until lunch.We ended up going to the Greek food festival in Tarpon today. Excellent food.We stayed for awhile and watched the young Greek dancers.It was the 1st,2nd,3rd graders.They were cute. We also tried the pastries. But we split those so it wasn't so bad. It was the first time we have gone. But we are just having homemade soup for supper. To offset what we ate earlier.
The weekend always goes by so quick. Well we rented some movies so I better get in there and watch one with Bill. There isn't anything at the movies that I am dying to see so we have been renting some on Sunday to watch during the week.We do enjoy movies. I am going to have to get my son-in-law to hook up my DVD as they said after next Jan there will be no more new vhs's
Penny I printed out the picture and it is a great picture. I will put it on the wall with the rest.
