Super Bowl Sunday

  • Well, I'm having another one of those nights! This is about three nights in a row, and I don't sleep during the day. I get up about 7A.M. Must be old age...but my friend assures me it isn't that.

We had a nice day here...I read about all they snow some of you are having and I just can't imagine it. I have lived all over the world, but have never been in a cold snowy area for very long. I guess you get used to it.

It is time to set goals for February. Be careful of all the candy that floats around for Valentine's Day. Just say My DH never gives me candy...knows I don't need it!

We are getting ready for an ARD the end of Feb. The chapter that host's it this time always has a good one. I am looking forward to it. And then we go to SRD. It is going to be a busy couple of months.

Will talk later...Have a good week, Wanda
  • Hi Everyone,

It's been raining here all night, not hard, just a light steady rain. We need it.

Our TOPS open house was a great success. Everone enjoyed it. Our area captain and our coordinator attended, and seemed to enjoy it too. Our speaker was great and he spoke about something that stuck with me. Our theme this year, as well as last, is "Hand in hand together we can". He stated that we should be calling on each other more for support. After all, we are a weight loss support group. And we should be calling on others to help us. He quoted the verse from the bible about 2 being better than one, if one falls the other can help him up. He also talked about being faithful to your weight control program. The quote that stuck with me most is: Faithfulness equals Success. I am now ready to get back with my plan and be faithful to it.
Would anyone like to join in with me and be faithful to their program for the month of Feb.?
Coco, and Summer....where are you girls? I hope you aren't frozen. I know the weather has really been bad in your areas. I haven't been on here much myself lately. January was a really busy month for me. February isn't looking too good either. I thought things would slow down when I got older and both boys were no longer home, but things got busier.
Mickey, I have trouble sleeping sometimes too. I can fall asleep watching television, then be awake at 3 AM. I try to stay awake until about 11 PM, then I don't wake up until about 5 or 6.
I had better get going. Today is Super Sunday and my son's birthday. He lives in Las Vegas, so I have to wait until later in the day to call him, but we usually chat for about an hour. Then, my granddaughter here, invited us to a super bowl party. So, I have a full day.

Have a good day everyone and let's all get back on track.

    TOPS hugs
    Nita
  • Good morning all,
Hope everyone is doing well. Eleni, Penny, Christie, Sherri, Cie Cie, and many more. Sure is cold here lately, wished I was in the 80 Degree weather.

Hubby comes home from up north today, and I'm on a cleaning binge. I have so much to do and not a lot of time to do it. Now that the morning sickness is over and the overly, overly tiredness gone, I can get busy. I'm still tired. Need to start walking in the livingroom again in the morning. It would be good for the baby. Went to sister-in-law, and picked up the little guy yesterday. Ended up staying there till, after 8:30. I was so tired cuz i got up at 3:30 that day to go to work. I was tired. Well needless to say, when i got home, i couldn't sleep. I was up till after 10. Good thing is I actually slepted till 5:30 the first time.

We go Friday, for counseling and ultra sound, and possible amnio. I don't think I will do the amnio, unless they find something on the ultra sound. Say a few for us. Brandon is going too. He wants to see the baby, and hear it's heartbeat. I'm kind of a short person, so my upper tummy is poofing out from everything being pushed up.

Wanda, it does sound like you are going to have a busy couple of months, but maybe that will tire you out enough so you can sleep in later. The second time i got up this morning was 7:30.

Not sure what we are going to do today for the super bowl. I'm hoping stay home, cuz it starts so late, and tomorrow is my early day at work. Speaking of work again, I lost the finder on my computer yesterday. Had to use someone else's. Tried everything i could think of to get it back. Good thing we have techs there. We are going to be getting the new G5 Macs. I think they sould just give me mine now. I probably lost everything on it. Oh well. Give the guy that gets paid big bucks to play on the internet all day a way to earn his money.

Well I need to get busy. Talk to you all soon
    Remember You can do it
  • It's a 7# blond haired boy. I am wiped out but I am glad he is finally here. I was at the hospital from 4 pm on Friday til we left last night at 8 pm. She had a very hard labor.
But fortunately no bad complications. I will rest up today. He looks just like his mother. Looked just like her when she was born. Her two girls both have dark hair like their father. I think the father was disappointed but Rebekah wanted one that looked like her and little Christopher does. I am just glad it is all over. My eating was not good eating at hospital and stress headed me to the candy machine. But I will be good the rest of the week. Talk to you later
