Hump Day Wednesday

  • Good morning everyone.

    Hope all is well with you. I turtled again last week . I appreciate the fact that since I haven't been as good as I should be regarding diet & exercise that I am at least maintaining! Gains just depress me and make me want to give up most of the time ... although they can also make me angry enough to get my butt in gear too!
    Oh well, I didn't put it on overnight, I won't fret over not taking it off over night!

    How is everyone else doing??

    Looks like you are doing just great
    I know how you feel when the scale shows a gain...I too get very discouraged when it happens...the one thing to put into consideration is that being women we are going to fluctuate with water weigh at certain times of the month no matter how much we exercise or eat right, and it seems to help me get over the disapointment

    As for me ..I am doing good, taking time for me and the house
    I weighed in at Curves this morning and their scale has me at 150 so I am very excited to see how the Tops scale goes, I cannot wait to see 140 anything!!! I hope you are all having an awsome day today and know I am still here for ya

    First of all, congratulations Sherri. My head is in the clouds. I just realized that you are pregnant. You must be excited. My oldest was born on May5th, so keep us informed.

    I missed by weighin lsat night because my youngest was puking. I can't leave a 2year old in that situation. I think I gained though. I can't seem to get going lately.

    Has anyone read Dr. Phil's new book. I would like to read it but it is $40 to buy here. Is it worth the money?

    I am journaling again, starting today and seeing if I can do something abou this.

    Hi Everyone
    Its me. I havent forgotten you ladies. Just seems like everytime I go to get on here. Someone else has other plans for me. And I just cant get on here. But boy have I missed you ladies. I will have a lot of reading to do to catch up on how everyone is doing. As for me I had 1/2 lb gain last night. Could have been worse. The last two weekends has been nothing but parties and covered dished dinners. And then this Saturday eve have a calander party to go to. Hubby has been under the weather a little. Got a cold and cant get rid of it. Took him to the Dr.'s yesterday. Said if he wasnt over it by friday. They would give him some med for it. Took hubby to the eye Dr today. Hubby had to have some laser surgery done 4 weeks ago. And they just wanted to check and make sure they fixed what needed to be fixed and they did. So dont have to go back for 3 months. Just seems like we have been doing alot of running. Took a little computer class. Didnt really learn a whole lot. But did get another computer. It is a window 98. But havent got it hooked up yet. So need to do that.

    FLGAL How are you doing. Are you staying on track. I could be doing better. Have been trying to watch DR PHIL. The other day I watched. And I just cried right along with those people. I could see me in them. I got his book. But havent had a chance to read it yet. Have it started. But it does seem pretty interesting. Am thinking of you.

    I'm glad to see you posting again. Our Tops board has been so slow this week. I really enjoy it when a lot of people are posting, but I know how busy we all are and I don't always have a lot to say, so I don't post either.
    I have been reading Dr. Phil's book and he does have a lot of good things to say. I have just finished Key #2 which talks a lot about stress and anxiety and how it turns on a hormone in our body that makes us crave food. He says that we use food as a drug or medication to make us feel better. He also says that exercise or workouts will help keep us from eating so much when we are stressed. Exercise releases endorphins, which is a natural tranquilizer that our body produces. I do know that there have been times when I was under stress and didn't realize it, so I couldn't understand why I wanted to eat everything in the house.
    I'm just starting the next key which is a "no-fail environment."

    Congratulations on your Avon business. Hope you have a lot of fun with it and make money, too!

    Eleni....Congratulations on your loss again this week. 3 weeks in a row. Weigh to go girl!!
