Thought I would check in before getting started on the painting again, and see how everyone is doing for the day.

Wanda, I don't watch the news often, but I heard that the storm hit Texas. Were you close to it? Hope you are doing okay.

Eleni..Good luck at weigh in tonight. Where are you going on your trip? Hope you have a good, safe trip (and lots of relaxing fun).

Coco...I am thinking of you and hope that you get back on track and have a good loss next week.

I have been at a standstill lately. The weight just doesn't want to come off. I hope the plateau is over soon, because I want to lose a few more pounds. It really feels good to lose weight and go shopping for new clothes. My eldest granddaughter is getting married in August and I have been looking for a nice dress to wear to the wedding. I found a sheath style dress with a matching jacket, on sale, but it is just a little snug, so I want to get some more weight off or I will have to return it and look some more. All the summer clothes are going on sale now. The stores are getting in their fall clothes. Here in FL, we can wear summer clothes until the middle of October, or later.

Hello everyone! How are you tonight? I have done NOTHING all day. It is too hot to get outside. 104 today.

We are in the north part of TX and didn't even get any rain out of the storm. But I have relatives in the Houston area, and they got lots of rain.

I did do something today! I cleaned closets. They really needed it, bad! I am going to take some clothes to a resale shop. Some I will take to a place here in town that helps the needy. I found clothes that I haven't had on in three years, so I think it is safe to say, I will never wear them. I found clothes in another closet that I haven't worn since I retired! I don't wear that kind of clothes as much. When I retired, I said no more clothes and hose! Only to church and when I have to. I got out 38 pair of shoes with heels! They are going, too! Don't know how I ever wore them everyday!

We had a good TOPS meeting last night. We had a new member.
We have only had two meetings this year with a net gain. We put marbles on jars for net losses and net gains. The net gain jar is EMPTY and the loss jar had to be replaced with a larger one!
