Good Day everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but it has been way too crazy. DD got all her tests back about her bowel and bleed and nothing showed up. That's good news but we still don't know what caused it. We have to assume she had a fissure. If it happens again we have to go back to the dr and do something more evasive. My stepmother's father died at the same time and we had all the funeral stuff to deal with as well. Subsequently I gained 3 lb last week. The most I have ever gained since I joined Tops.

This week isn't fairing much better. My sister's shower was yesterday and we had quiet the week leading up to it. We thought she had the flu on Wed and turned out she had appendicitis and they took it out Thurs night. She has had ankle surgery when she broke her ankle in Mar, 2 gum surgeries on her tooth that haven't taken and now this. She was able to make it to the shower but she wasn't in her best form. I think we will locker her in a box till the wedding in Sept.

The school year is also winding down and I will be off for the summer (I'm a teacher), so I have had all the crazy yearend stuff to deal with. It's grad tonight.

I tell you it is VERY hot here in Louisiana. I have not even stepped out the house today. I just know the air in running constantly.

I am so sorry you have had so many things going wrong. I am sorry about the death of your stepmother's dad. And your poor sister. I hope things get better.

Don't worry about the weight gain. Jump back into it and get it back off! I am rooting for you. I have been following along and you are doing great!

Like penny said take it one day at a time and you will be fine. With so much going on it is hard to concentrate on you right now. When things settle down get refocused and you will do fine. You can lose those 3 lbs in no time and then keep going. Don't put yourself down. It is in the past and you can't do anything about it. But move forward. You will be fine. I hope your sister in law has a better future outlook then in the past.LOL I hope she is feeling better. Sorry to hear about your step dad. Were you close to him? I hope tomorrow is a better and brighter day for you.

So how is life in the crazy world with 3 kids now? How are you doing with your eating? I still can't believe that after having a baby you are still smaller then me.LOL You are doing great it seems. Wish I could catch up with you to chat some time. When are you going to be taking in more kids to watch? Hopefully you will give yourself time to recoop and enjoy andrew for a little while before you hop right into it. How are the boys doing with andrew around?
I hope you had a great day it is hot here today finally but not good because my air still isn't working right. Now he is going to get a new compresser for it and put it in. It is really hot at work with no air that is for sure but I will live. I am just glad that summer has finally arrived and get this it didn't rain today.

Welcome back to the boards. I was MIA for a while as well. Things happen and we get busy and just can't make it here. Glad to have you back.

I had a great day on plan today. I went to the buffet yesterday and had what I wanted to eat. Today I did great and I worked out some this morning with floor exercises. It is a busy week this week for me at night. Then thursday is our last tee ball game tomorrow night is practice then we will be done after thursday. So then we won't be running after work for the rest of the summer. The only thing I will have to run for is horseback riding lessons on saturday if we go. It is up to me when we go it doesn't have to be every saturday but I might just do that for awhile.
Had a meeting at church tonight. I am heading up a committee to put together a new church directory and we are getting our pictures taken and we get a free 8x10 family photo out of the deal. So it is nice but it will be a lot of work. I am ready for it. It will give me something to do to keep me out of trouble. I also asked the minister about taking a class that would review the bible and relate it to todays times and problems. I have to find 10 other people that want to take the class with me then she will teach it. She said she can name the class anything. I suggested the bible for the people of today. Thought it was a catchy name to bring people in. Something I want to acheive this year is taking that class. Thought it would help me. I never really read the bible and I am interested in learning about it now that I am older. And if she puts the meaning of it to todays problems and times I will understand it better others might to.
That is about all that is happening here. We had the new girl start today. I have to work with her all day tomorrow. She talks so low. My boss said I have to quiet down and she has to turn up the vol to about 1/2 of me.LOL I hope she works out it would be nice and I think it will be good for the business. She will be doing mostly marketing stuff to get our name out there. She is very young only 19 so she has a lot to learn but she is willing to learn so I think she will work out ok. Her name is larianne. Never heard that name before. But she is nice.

I got a few books at a yardsale yesterday and I started to read a couple pages of one and I love it. I forgot it at work today. It is about being positive and making your dreams come and goals come true. How to work toward making your goals happen. It is a great book. I am going to bring it home from work tomorrow so I can start to read it here at night before I go to bed. It is very motivating in all aspects of my life.

I am going to go do my dishes and read a bit then hit the sack for the night.

We had our pictures taken for our church directory, don't let them talk you into getting more. They can be rather high pressure if you know what I mean. We spent too much. I said that this picture will be the last for a long time.
