Coco- i hear wonderfull things about Akdins, and I hear also the bad. We have a girl at Tops that is doing it, and she is losing, but some days she gains too. I don't think the protein thing is bad, however myself, i love my carbs. It's harder than heck for me to get away from them. I also don't think they are bad for you especially if you eat the good ones. They stay with you longer, and break down better. The whole wheat products. I mixed my white flour with whole wheat, so that is helping a little when i bake. triscuits aren't bad for you either. Have you looked into the sugar buster diet. They are pretty good. Just watch the "bad" type carbs.
Our camping trip/ kayaking is set for the first week of August. I haven't gotten mine yet, probably next weekend.

For me- job doing well, but i sure can feel it in my hand. Right one specially. Doing a little praying on that. I love the job. Yesterday, everyone thing i picked up was a problem. And today a girl is off, so i have some of her jobs to get going. So i may be working a little later. Hubby's mom is taking the little guy home, because a friend of hubby's band is playing tonight, so we thought we would go there for a couple of hours. Brandon't has a game in the morning, maybe. Michigan is calling for rain all weekend, starting tomorrow. Go figure. He got his tee-shirt and hat on Tuesday. Now if he could just ware it for a game. I'm thinking this one will be cancelled also. We have a wedding on Saturday, and then sunday, gotta go get the little guy. We are going to be busy. If it's raining, i just may go into work on Saturday too.
Well gotta go get some other stuff done, you all take care.

Good Morning Ladies
Boy the sun is shining this morn. So I am washing clothes and hanging them out. I love to wash clothes and hang out. Got one load of old jeans out. Waiting on the good jeans to finish washing. But is sure is nice to see the sun. But then it is suppose to rain tomorrow. Tomorrow is our nieces graduation party. So hopefully it will hold off. But the party dont start until 5:00pm. So will see.
SHORTSTACK Thanks for the info. The cookies sound great. The Dr my hubby goes to recommended the Sugar Buster diet to him. His cholestrol and triglycerides are up. They dont want to put him on meds. So they want to try and control it with diet. And then another one of his Dr's said that the diabetic diet would be good to follow. Then my Dr suggested the ATKINS Diet to me. So which one do you follow. So I guess I will just pick one and both of us follow it. I dont want to have to cook two different meals. So I am reading Dr Atkins book. Alot I dont understand. But then some of what I have read is me. But I am really trying to stay OP. And I am drinking my water. I was a little bad yesterday. We went to the DQ and I got a small blizzard. But I usually get either the medium or large. So I was pleased with myself there. But I wasnt really suppose to have the blizzard. So I have been good so far today. Again Thanks for the info. A TOPS PAL
Well, I just got in a little while ago from my meeting and then lunch afterwards. We ate at Wendy's and I had a salad with low fat dressing. I got home and figured out my calories. It came to 435 calories. Not bad. I did have a small loss this morning. A quarter of a pound. Why can't I have a big loss, like some of you do.
Coco, Congrats on your loss last week. You did great!! I am ready to stay OP with you for one week. If I can do that maybe my loss will be bigger. Do you want us to post our food charts. We could start a separate thread for reporting that. What ever works is fine with me. Congratulations to your son on his graduation from High School.
On the Adkins diet, I had neighbors that tried it and they lost good. I don't think I could handle that diet myself. I can't eat just protein and fat. I need lots of fruit and veggies. But I think that we are all different and each person has to find a diet that they can live with, since we will probably be fighting the battle against gaining weight from now on.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been sooo busy. But the family reunion is a thing of the past. Had a wonderful time...enjoyed every minute of it. But it was work...think DH is glad it is over too!

This will be short, but wanted to check in and let you all know that I do think about you all even if I'm not posting. Will probably be back on more.
I have to brag...I'm 2.75 pounds from goal. Pray for me, It is so hard. You think when you get that close it gets easier, but it's not. And it is hard to maintain...I know, I've been there!
We are all in this together and you all have my support, if you need extra encouragement, you can get it from the rest of us. We are all here for you.
