Default TGIF

Hello!
Where is everyone? Hope you are all well and just busy. And I hope you who live in cold country are keeping warm and safe. You have been on my mind this past week.

I know some of us had weigh in tonight. Hope you all did well this week. I finally had a loss tonight. I was about to give up. Don't really know what I did different this week, but the scales were kind to me. I was worried because we have eaten out several times this week. Two banquets, once just to busy to cook and once to a friend's. But I have passed on several good looking desserts. I don't like to eat out that often, mostly because I have no will power.

I hope you that have been house bound are staying off the snacking...that is hard for me when I can't get out.

I really appreciate the support I get here. I get a lot from my chapter, but, just knowing you guys are here for me helps alot. And I am lucky because my hubby is a great source of support.

Until tomorrow...Wanda

I am sure glad it is Friday. Even tho I have the easiest job ever it is still nice to not have to get up early and go to work.
I had a very small loss last night. I am not getting the weight off altho I feel like I should be having small losses. It is so hard to be motivated when we are not losing. We all know that losing is the biggest motivator. That is the bottom line. It really warmed up here yesterday. I don't think we will have much cold weather here. Maybe a few cool days but that will probably be it
Everyone that has not done their new bio update please do so. The old one will slowly disappear and this one will stay at the top from now on.
Hope you all have a great day.

Hello Everyone.

Congrats to both of you for having weight losses.

I am try really hard this week. My husband brought home these butter tarts from this place that caters. They are the best that I have ever tasted. But i was good and didn't have one. I will hid one and have one Tues. after my weigh in. I usually allow myself a treat then. Then I don't feel so deprived the rest of the week. (That's how it is supposed to work anyway.)

I was dying for something last night so I did have a few sour skittles. Don't usuallly go for something like this but they were quite good. Only ate about 20. Not even 1/2 the pack. I was proud of myself. Usually I would eat the whole thing and not think about it until it was too late. That little bit of treat was enough to keep me out of the cupboards for the night. No way could I have just a piece of the butter tarts though.

I hope you all have a good weekend. It is about 5C (Double the number and add 32 to get the temp in Farenheight) 42F. But it is supposed to drop to deathly cold again come Mon.

Talk to you soon.

I agree...thank goodness its Friday. It was a short week for me because Monday was a holiday here, but that sometimes just makes the rest of the short week stressful because we have to fit an extra day's worth of work into the 4 days left. That's the way it is for me, although I sure don't complain about having an extra day off!!!!

It's very cold here today -20 celsius (if you double and add 32 you get minus 8 Fahrenheit.) with wind chills. I'm very lucky to be able to park in a heated parkade this week! My boss is in Thailand, so I am using his stall this week.

Didn't do well in the eating dept. last night, and no exercise again. We had a bit of a problem with our furnace last night so I spent a lot of the evening huddled under a blanket. It is fixed now and I was so thankful this morning for a warm house. I hate being cold! Waiting for spring is hard!

Everyone have a good weekend. I should get some exercise in on Saturday and Sunday. I'm aiming for 1 hour each day on the treadmill (I walk about 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 miles in an hour).

Default Rainy & Foggy Friday Night

Good Evening Ladies
Just checking in. Hope everyone is doing ok. It is raining and really foggy here tonight. Have Flood watches out for our area until Sunday Morn. I dont have to worry about my house. But my Mom and Dad's. And then our neighbors. They are a older couple and of course they are in FL. We are watching their house. So I am hoping it doesnt flood.
Not alot going on here. Eating out of control. Just getting the munchies. Not even hungry. But eating and not even realizing it. At the mall in our area today. They had a health fair. We went. I got blood work done. Will get the results of that in a couple of weeks. And they just have all kinds of things there. I talk to a lady that works at one of the hospitals here. She is a Dietitian there. She said that if my Dr would recommend that I come see her. She would help me with my eating plan. Is that allowed in TOPS? Wasnt to sure about that. So am thinking that I will do that. Maybe she can give me some pointers.
Well I havent been back on the treadmill since Wed. I messed up the heel again. I talked to someone at the health fair today. Said I should have started out with only 5 minutes instead of the 12. Said it may feel better. But it may not have been healed completely. I know that even going up and down the stairs is bothering it again. So I will just have to take it easy a few more days I guess. I know it is hurting tonight. Walked a good bit today.

MICKEY and ELENI Congrats on the weight loss. That is wonderful. Even though it may have been a little loss. Those little losses soon add up. I know we want to see the scale go down in big numbers. But that wouldnt be too healthy and then it may not stay off. Just keep up the great work.

WILD ROSE Glad you got your furnace fixed. That would be awful to have it mess up now. Gald you are getting to park in the heated area.

LINLIN Good job on passing on the tarts. I know what you mean about saving something for after weigh in. I do that. Sounds as if you are on the right track.

SHERRI Hope you are doing ok. Thinking of you. Take care.

To everyone else I am thinking of you. Hope you have a great weekend.
Sorry ladies didnt mean to write a book. I could just keep going. But will get off here. Oh I did get some fresh fruit today. I made a big bowl of fruit salad a little bit ago. So in the refridge cooling. Cant wait to taste it. Have a great weekend.
A TOPS PAL

Hi Ladies, good to see ya all here.

Coco, yes it is allowed. Go get some tips if you wish, but she probably will point you towards the exchange system that TOPS recommends. Most do and that is why TOPS has endorsed it, because it is sensilble.

Must run, go shovel the snow before dh pulls in the driveway. I won't even bore you all with how cold it has been here....but I got ya all beat! Take care everyone and have a wonderful weekend.
