As usual it is my day off and I can not sleep. I have been awake since 4:30. Made myself try to go back to sleep til 5:30 and gave up. If I get tired I will take a nap later. But since this is my only day off I need to get up early to get a lot done. Two of my grand-daughters are coming this afternoon for a few hours. The parents are at the BUCS football game. We were going to take them out for supper but we decided we will watch the BUCS game on tv. So Bill will grill us some burgers . The weather is really nice. Cool in the morning but sun comes up and it is great. I do love living in Florida.
I talked to Christie yesterday and she will be in north Florida this summer so I will plan on seeing her.
My scale is down several pounds so it is looking good for a big loss.Of course we all know we can put a lot back on in a blink of the eye. But I am doing good at portion control and stopping when full.

As for staying warm. Uhhhg. It is so cold here, our pipes (hot water) froze before 11 pm last night. Got into bed and was watching the weather and with the wind chill factor is was like 8. I then remembered the water deal. Had to have it drip a bit. Tried the hot, already frozen. Cold is ok. So It doesn't look like a church day today either. Time hubby gets it thawed. Uhhhhhhhgggg. This New Year was going well. I've backed off on a lot of things. Gotta get my head back on my shoulders to think right again. Old habits are always just creeping around the corner to get back into your system. I'm not giving up this battle though. My God is going to make me and I'm not going to out anymore, and get this battle undercontrol . I'm not going to worry about ,or what others think. I'm going to win. I'm going to be myown sargent, and work, work, work.
You all ready for some losing. We can do it, Yes we can.
Ok. now that i feel better. I hope everyone has a wonderfull day. That we all stay on program. We can do this thing. Once and for all.

I am with you about not sleeping in. Megan has had me up since 6am. Not happy as today was my last day to sleep in before starting a new work week. Oh well I am wide awake to.LOL At least we won't oversleep and miss church. Haven't been in awhile so we are going back today.
I am glad the scale is down for you. I know you can do it. Must be you just needed another jump start. Maybe for awhile you will have to go back every couple of weeks if it helps. Keep going and enjoy the grandkids today and the game.

Sounds like today is going to be a great start over day for you. You know what you have to do. Keep reading your books, get your motivation back. It is all within you to do this. Reach inside and it will happen. Don't give up.

As for me I am happy. I am officially a sponser of a little girl and I am excited. Can't wait for the info to get here on her.
I am going back to church today. Haven't been since before christmas. Have to get back to that. Megan likes sunday school.
I have a sinus infection so I will be just loafing today. Have to return some things to walmart today but that is it for me.
It is back to work and exercise tomorrow for me.

I'm so tired tonight. This has been a busy week end. Have not make real good choices on my eating, but overall not too bad.

It sounds like you all are off to a good start this year.

Eleni, you are doing great. Sounds like you have it turned around and are going in the right direstion, DOWN! Just hang in there, you can do it!!! As I am retired, I wish I could sleep in more, but too many years of getting up early are ingrained in me! Don't know how long I will be retired, a friend who owns a dress shop is wanting me to help her out. Her husband is sick and she needs someone to keep the shop open for her. I am thinking seriously about it. I enjoy my free time, but always have liked to be out in the public. (At least that's what I tell myself. I miss the kids at school, just not the hassle it was getting to be!)

Shortstack, I'm sorry about your water and all that cold weather. Sometimes I wish it would get cold here, but then that passes! ha! We woke up to snow on the ground this AM but it was mostly gone by noon. It was so pretty coming down...

Sherri, I'm sorry about your sinus infection. Those can really knock you out. Take care if it!!! My daughter has so many infections. She has had surgery, but she still gets infections. This has been a bad year for sinus problems here.
