Ok.Same goal I always make because I need to do this.No eating after 8pm except for 15cal popsicles.Once I can do this I will cut out the popsicles.

Making these goals do help.May not make them everyday but if we do it some it is better than none

Well I need to do this. I am not having a good day. The predisone I am taking is making me gain weight like crazy. So I will stick to a goal for the week. Okay my goal of the week is going to be:
No cookies, chips or teddy grahams this week. No junk food. I am not including saltines (FF) lol. Just in case I have them. I have to stay low on carbs this week more than ever.
OK, I'm game again!! Last week I was on the bike 5 out of 7 days, so I feel good about that!
I'm going to change my goal a bit this time. Instead of just concentrating on the bike, I am going to do one of my Richard Simmons Sweatin tapes daily starting with a 10 minute warmup on the bike. I feel like I need to get off my butt more and sitting at the computer doesn't help Hey, Penny, I just noticed you have that 'butt' problem too!
Today I did 30 minutes on the bike and then the first Sweating tape that he did. I'm surprised how sore my shoulders and upper back are. Shows me what I have been neglecting.
OK, ladies lets get out there walking, remember not to eat after 8pm, ride that bike and sweat your little heart out with dancing.
Ok-i'm game for a goal for the week. Lets see...other than a cup of tea at night-nothing else after dinner. My problem has always been waiting until everyone else goes to bed, then eating everything in sight. That is why that part of the pledge is great-as if eating in secret is really fooling anyone! I'd love to think that i'm getting fat because the air i breath is fatter or something, but truth be known, i eat way too much in "secret" So that is my goal this week.

My goal this coming week, is to avoid food after 7:00 at night and to exercise at least 10 minutes a day, Keep your fingers crossed for me!! I have had the stomach flu last week and food hasnt looked as good since then lol, Maybe thats a blessing in disguise,....

Day #2 with my goal and I am happy to say that I did the bike 10 minutes and the Sweatin' To The Oldies tape. Shoulders are sore again after the workout. Think I need to do some stretches the chiropractor gave me to loosen up. It's amazing how it's so easy to get out of shape.
How's everyone else doing with their goals? Take care and don't forget to drink the water!
Well I did terrible eating today. Not all day just for my dinner. But tomorrow is a new day and I am going to stay within my points for the rest of the week. I didn't get all my water in today either that I normally do. I have to do that also. Tomorrow is a new start for the week for me.
I am going to complete this goal. I did have a pc of pie tonight with my dinner but I didn't have any junk food here at the house. Which was good for me. I almost did and had bread with butter instead.LOL I know not a great choice but it was lite bread and little butter. Actually a spread not the real butter.

Summer that is great that you are working out again. I know what you mean. I haven't worked out in 2 weeks and can't start until at least wednesday. I go back to the Doctor on tuesday. So we will see how it is then. But I know I will be very sore starting back in again also. I have to work into my routine again. That is the hard part. I do miss exercising though. But I have a hard time getting back into it once I have stopped. But as soon as I get the okay from the doctor I am going to start again. I have to in order to get rid of my extra weight I am gaining.LOL
hey everyone! my goal is simple. too get over this stupid cold that is putting a huge damper on my exercise life. i had just gotten back into walking. if i get to feeling better this week i'll get in some exercise too.

Wow!!! This was some day #3 for me. Lets see... started off on the bike for 15 minutes, did the RS Sweatin video, raked off some snow from the roof and helped hubby bring in 9 wheelbarrels full of wood. Not bad for someone that hasn't done much. I'm a little sore in the upper body but not bad. I have tendonitis in my L elbow and that's letting me know I used it.
Hope everyone else is doing fine and moving onward and downward. Don't forget that water when you are thinking about grabbing a snack!
GREAT JOB EVERYONE! IT sounds like just about everyone is out of the slump and back on track. At least I don't feel bad, We all did it as a group .... lol
I just finished walking on my treadmill 35 minutes, 2 miles and feel WONDERFUL!!! It is amazing how good you feel after working out! I am telling you. Why don't I do this more often...lol *because I m lazy... probably...lol Well, I just have two more days to walk and I have completed my goal!!

Yes, I'm glad that things are going better for most of us. It really is funny how we all went off at the same time. I guess great minds think alike!!!!!
Since my younger daughter was sleeping, I cancelled her teachers from coming to the house.....so I plugged in the RS video and started sweatin. I did the bike afterwards and I think it works better that way. I was able to stay on for 20 minutes and I really did some sweatin.
YEAH, Penny, for getting up and walking those 2 miles. It really DOES feel good!!!!

Well I am here. I have done good on goal so far. But today I have eaten too much. I have gone over my points. If I hadn't gone out to lunch it would have been better. Then I got the news that my predisone has to be increased again and that depressed me. Because that means I have to stay on it for longer. But I did have a 3lb loss over the past 3 weeks. So I was very happy about that. I have been exercising again. Doing the toning work only. But I will have to try the aerobics again. The doctor said I could try it but if I started to get too winded to stop.
So I can say that I didn't stick to my goal today. But I did for 3 days. And tomorrow is a new day and I am going to get back on track again.
I am so glad that everyone is making their goals this week. Everyone is doing great. Keep up the great work. We are worth it.
