Hi all,

Well I am going to start the thread again this week but I am going to meet my goal this week no matter what.

That is my first goal. To meet my weekly goal.
Then My weekly goal is to stay at 6 pts. or less for carbs for at least 5 days this week. I can do this. I did it before and I can do it again.

Lets have a successful week and get back to the basics.

Sherri

Good luck everyone and have a great week.

I failed on my goals this past week.I am keeping the same ones as I have to correct these problems.Drinking water isn't as bad as the late snacking.I know water is good for you but have never drank it.I can manage to get some water each day.I'd like to increase the amount .But the eating at night has got to stop.Making the goal has helped. It has kept me from eating as much at night but I need to stop it completely. So I keep the same goal of drinking water and no eating after 8.

I also did bad on my goals last week. Totally forgot I was going to be gone for a few days and it hard to ride a bike when one isn't available. Did mostly ok with the water though but my on the road days were lacking.

I will keep the same goals.... ride my bike at least 1/2 hour and drink 10 cups of water a day. This is very doable, done it before, must MAKE myself do it again.

Good luck to us all.

Okay ladies how are we doing at our goals this week?

I started achieving my goal yesterday. I only had 5 1/2 pts. of carbs yesterday. So that was great. And I have the rest of the week planned so that I can meet my goal.

I have a hard time sticking to only 6 pts in carbs on the weekend. So by going from mon -thursday that is pretty good. At least it is 4 days of low carbs. And that is a lot of sugar that I am saving that isn't turning into fat.

Lets hear from everyone else. How are you all doing.

Way to go ceicie. That is great. I would be happy with that this week seeing I have had a gain in the past 2 weeks. I don't know for sure about last week because our meeting was cancelled. But I didn't do good last week so I assume I would have had a gain last week also.

I completed my goal for day #2.

Have a great day with all your goals everyone.

Okay, I'm stepping up to the plate. I am doing well with the water, in fact drinking drinking more than the 10 cups that I pledged.....but the bike has still been a struggle for me. Dumb, huh? I will keep trying to get on that shiney piece of metal. Maybe today will be the day, there still is about 9 waking hours left.

YEAH.....I DID IT!!!!! Just got off the bike after doing 8 miles in 38 minutes. I was starting to watch Oprah continue her series with Dr. Phil and had another talk ( no, more like a yell)....with myself to get my butt over onto the bike. IT WORKED. Come on ladies....like Dr Phil said this is a lifestyle change. If we take something away that we normally do, we MUST put something else in its place, healthier of course. I wish everyone success with your goals.

Two days in a row.....I just a broke a record. Did 8 miles again but at a little slower pace. It took me almost 45 minutes. Had not eaten yet this morning before I hopped on and I was feeling a bit woozy. I feel so much better since I have been back to exercising the past 2 days. The water is going fine. Tonight is weigh in, will post later.

Hope everyone is doing good at their goals. Keep plugging along.........

TOPS hugs,
Summer

Hi Summer,

That is great that you are back to exercising. I also saw dr. phil yesterday. It was great. What he said really made sense. Also I think it has helped that I have learned so much already. That I could relate to what he was saying.

Have fun on your bike again today.

Way to go, congratulations.

I also did great on my goal for the past few days. Today is day #5 and I plan to stick to my goal today to complete it.

It feels good to finally complete a goal. It has been awhile since I have done that.
