Coco-ive been readying the book. It's good. I'm finding if i read more than one, I have a hard time focusing on the change that i need to make. But I think this book is going to take some time to absorb. I read the 3 meal a day thing. I can't do that one. But I use veggies, for the most part for my mid morning snack. I have to work on the mid afternoon snack. I could however, drop the treat at night. That sugar thing after a meal to make it complete. I understand what you mean about the getting home and eating. I sometimes have that problem. What i'm finding helps is eating a granola bar on the way home from work. I'm learning to keep food with me at all times. Healty for the most part. Friday when we went to my mom's doctor appointment i took a lunch box. My sister always does this. Saves on spending too. I put some snacks in it for me, and some for brandon. It helped. We still went out to eat, but i made good choices somewhat. I'm getting in the habit at resturants that a meal isn't a meal with out french fries.
My problem with the eating when you get in the door is my inlaws. I ate all day yesterday. Bits and pieces. none really good for you. But it was there, everyone else was eating, and I had nothing to do. I've never seen so many people in one house before. My husbands aunt says she has the same problem. I didn't mention it to her, we were talking about my weight loss. I had tons of comments on it yesterday. The first really in their family that has noticed it. But I didn't have a baggie tshirt on, i was dressed up for the funeral. I said I still have my days, and sometimes when i go to different places, i tend to eat. She said she does when she goes to her sisters house. (my inlaws). So I have to figure something out when i go to their house to do. The hands are doing. Doctor said really not much change since the last time. But if i would of gotten in there 2 weeks prior when the were hurting probably would have. so I'm wareing my braces when i can. Exercising, and getting the weight off. Sherri- I knew which house it was right away. Good for you. You wouldn't want to come into my house. We are ready to get dumpsters out to haul some of the crap out. Finding clothes for brandon for the funeral he has more clothes than anyone could ware in a week, so to cut down on laundry, i'm putting a laundry basket in his room, and only doing his laundry when it gets full. so that would leave only hubby's and mine on a daily basis. Not sure how this will go, but I'm in for some changes.
I'm sure i'm boring some of you with details on my laundry, sorry . Trying to make inward changes, to change eating habits. Sometimes i feel overwelmed, that's why i use to eat. But i use to be able to find a reason to eat no matter what. So I'm trying to change that.
