Default Fabulous Friday

Hi all,

There wasn't a daily thread started today and it being 9pm I thought I would go ahead and start the thread for tomorrow.

I stayed the same this week. I was happy with that because it wasn't a gain. I know I got a late start to doing great so I got what I worked for. I am not down about it. Also I didn't let the scale intimate me either like I usually do. I went about my daily things and didn't not do things because of weigh in which is a big change for me.

I am back on track in mind and spirit and it feels great. Here's to a great week ahead I hope.LOL

You all have a great night.

Coco,

I am so enjoying reading that book. It is like I can't put it down girl. I am highlighting so much in it that applies to me. And that is a lot.

Hi to you all TOPS members;

I have been considering joining a tops program, I havent yet, I don''t know what to expect. The one thing is that I am still looking for a good diet to follow weekly that I can get a variety of foods and not have to take time out to figure everything, I did belong to Weight Watchers about 2 years ago, I still have some things but not the points finder, I lost it. I am looking for fulltime work so I need something I can take with me.
I would like to know what to expect at a TOPS meeting.

Take Care of Yourselfs All

Default FRIDAY

Hi Everyone
Boy in a way I am glad it is Friday. But then again I am not. Just means we are getting closer to winter. YUCK!!!!. Dont we turn the clocks back this weekend. That will be nice. A extra hour of sleep. YEAH!!!!. But BOO!!! it will get dark alot earlier and make the evenings seem so long.
Well have had a pretty busy week. Hubby 2 days of PT and Dr's appt. So have been running alot. Maybe next week wont be so bad. I know hubby has 2 days of PT. But as of now no Dr's appt. Found a neat little craft place today. Had to go to the court house. And behind it is a little crafte store. It sells cross stitch stuff, all kinds of yarn, and latch hook rug stuff. Just all kinds of neat things. And they even have classes on most Sat morns. From 10:30 to 12:30. I might try one. They have one on counted cross stitch. I want to learn how to do that. They are having a class tomorrow. But there is also a home college football game. And there is no way that I am going to try and go to town. So maybe next Saturday I will see if they are having a class and go. Hubby thought the store was neat too. They even teach a knitting class. Said they have different kinds of classes. We have a Micheals craft store about 45 mintues away. But they dont teach the counted cross stitch. They have been having cake decorating, soap making and candle making things like that.

Sherri Glad you like the book. I thought it was pretty good. I like alot of the things in it. And most of them I feel they are talking to and about me.

Wendy Hows the hands? Hope they are doing ok. Am thinking of you.

To everyone else am thinking of you. Hoping you had a great week. And hoping your weekend is great also. Welcome to all the newbies. This site is just wonderful. The ladies here are great.
A TOPS PAL

Christie,

One commentt to you girl. Did you get off the SB plan? If not don't worry about the gain. Look forward to the hayride and like you said ride it out.
Let us know how the sleepover went. It should be fun for all of you. LOL
Remember stick to the SB plan because it works for you girl. It is the best plan around according to your body.LOL

Coco,

That is great that you might take a class. It will give you some alone time. No guys welcome. Sorry guys.
Yes I feel the same way about the book. I feel as though she is talking about myself to. See we have a lot in common don't we. I have been highlighting most of the book. There was only a couple of the chapters that didn't really pertain to me so far. But I love the book. It will really make a difference in my life. I am trying to implement some of the changes as I read them into my daily life. That way I don't get bored with working on the same changes everyday. I never knew how much changing I really had to do just to be a NORMAL PERSON. But I am getting there everyday I am making some kind of changes so that is good. They will all add up in the end to a happier, healthy me.

I had a great day today. I did go to the buffet for dinner and now I am tired and very full. Not a good feeling at all. I can notice the difference as to how I feel now when I overeat like tonight. I am not mad at me for going. I went and that is all there is to it.

You all have a great day tomorrow and start to the weekend.

Yes we do have to turn the clocks back tomorrow night. I hate that time though. I hate it getting so cold and so dark. I like the longer daylight hours. I wish we were like arizona and didn't have to change our clocks. I wish we could just stay in this time we are in now.

Hi Ladypal

TOPS is not like WW. We are a non profit weight loss support group. You can follow any diet that you like and your doctor sets your goal weight. At a meeting, we have weigh in, roll call, contests and incentives. And we have a program about good nutrition, diet or health. The meeting last about an hour. The cost to join is $20 yearly, which includes a TOPS magazine. Then we have a small weekly fee to cover cost of the chapter, such as rent and awards. That is different in each chapter and should not be more than $5 a month. At TOPS, everyone gets to know everyone else and usually become friends.
You can visit a chapter for 1 meeting to see if you like it, then if you want to come back, you must join. Hope this is some help to you.

Nita
