Default Sunday

Good morning, It is around 5am here. Could not sleep and got tired of tossing and turning.
The cane worked really well. The cane I am using was my Grand-Fathers. Has to be some irony there somewhere.It will take some time to get use to using it but I manage to go to grocery store without using the electric cart. I prefer the cane to that.
I did good on my new habits I am working on. Better than I thought I would. And scale seems to be dropping
I don't think we are going to the movies today. I have so much to get done around here anyway. I need to get extra piano practice in. Bill is going to a big car show in area.
I enjoyed the ballgame my grand-daughter played. It was ironic that it was same field I took her mother & siblings when they were young.
If you haven't voted on poll I posted please do. if nothing else you can see once again how we share some of the same problems.
Ok enough from me. I smell my coffee. Even if it is decaf it smells good.
I bought some diet vanilla coke last night at grocery store. Will have to drink them sparingly as they are not caffeine free.

Default Great Day in the Neighborhood.

Welcome Newbe, question? What was some of the catagories your chapter won in. We had our first district fal fun day and it was awesome, we are ready to make somechanges for next year, and I'm on the committee, for life, according to the area captain.
Eleni- sounds like you are headed in the right direction. Working on goals helps us focus on other things than food. Either way we do it, they are all improvements weither they be big or small. Changes.
Christie, you are so right, there is a God, and Thank you Jesus for keeping Christie and her family safe. Sounds like you are almost to goal. I wish I could fit into sombodies size 11. It's been about 12 years since i was that small.
Sherri- sounds like your plan is going well keep it up
me- my scale is up again, so I've gotta focus on something else. I don't think i'm doing to bad, except for Friday, didn't feel guilty at the time, but i don't understand how I can fluctuate so much in a couple of days. It's like I can't faulter at all. Like I have to be perfect all the time for this. I only have 8 pounds as of last Monday, could be 10 again for my 50, and i've been trying. I want it. Stopping the neg. I'm going to do something on the same line that Eleni did for program in a couple of weeks. I'm also going to suggest the walking program again. I'm reading the information on the walking program, but I do curves, and gazelle. Anyway, I will be back later cuz it's brandon's birthday and we have to get ready for the party.

Eleni,

That is great that you are working on your bad habits and are trying to change them. I am to. It does make feel so much better when you are working on you and what you do. And you know it is working because the scale is dropping. Good for you. I did post on your poll. I eat when I am not hungry and I am trying to work on that one.

This week you make a good point. I will work on a bad habit I have been doing which is not good. I have been eating after 7pm again. Even though I have been at the min points I am getting the last of the points in around 9-10pm. So from today on for the rest of the week I am going to try and get all my points in before 7pm. If I can I will get them in by dinner time that way I don't have to snack at night. I have not been hungry at night either. I have just been eating the popcorn to get to the min points. So I will start trying to change that. It gives me something new to concentrate on this week. I know that eating that late is not good at all especially when I go to bed right afterward.

Have fun at the party today and let me know how it goes. You know what I am talking about. Just enjoy the day and think about brandon and the company and don't concentrate on the food. You will do great.

Well I am doing good. I did go over points last night for no reason. So I am being cautious today but I am not going to let it control me. We are going to my SIL for dinner so I found out what she was having so I know how to do my points for that. Plus no eating at night tonight. That is the biggest thing to work on.

I also put up 2 flyers I made for doing daycare here at home at my church. One right where everyone comes into the church and the other by the preschool on their bullentin board. We have a preschool at our church. So hopefully the moms will see the sign and pass the word. I also put up 2 flyers at the grocery store. I figured it was a lot cheaper then keep putting my money into the newspaper ads in which I am not getting a response. This way it is free and I feel that more people will see the ad and it can stay in longer. I will also put one in the 2 librarys we have locally also. That is always a good place to advertise. I could also see if the consignment shop would let me hang a poster there. At least I am getting the word out. It will happen at the right time. I just am getting impatient as to when this will happen. But I have faith it will.

Default Sunday....

The categories we won in were; craft item, nametags, roll call- in which you do a little cheer to introduce your chapther, most new members for the summer and some other stuff. It was a wonderful day. Lets just say; so far this years I've lost about 23 lbs. since my beginning weigh-in in January and I have maintained that loss since mid-May. I have been not really motivated myself to try any harder since yesterday. Sometimes it takes real-time stories to get you going from the inside. Well, I think it has happened for me.

Default SUNDAY

Hi Everyone
How is everyones weekend going. I hope everyone is doing ok. Mine so far has been ok. The sing at the community center last night was really nice. Didnt have to many people there. But the last group that sang was really good. The one lady that sings with them can really sing. She did a Pasty Cline song. And if you didnt know better you would have thought it was Pasty herself. My son request a song of hers. He likes Pasty Cline. Not much happening here today. The sun is trying to shine. But it is kinda cool. Oh by the way I passed on homemade raisin pie last night. It is one of my favorites. It was between that and nachos and cheese. I picked the nachos and cheese. I know neither choice was a good one. But I thought I made the best. I didnt feel guilty about the nachos. And enjoyed them. I am going to read Bob Greene's Get with the Program book. I have it. But never have read it. He was on Oprah the other day. And the weight loss stories were pretty good. Has anyone read the book.

Eleni Glad that you are using the cane. I know my hubby had a hard time accepting that he had to use one. But now is glad that he does. Has kept him from falling several times. Hope you start to feel better.

Christie Hope you are doing ok after your wreck. Did you get sore afterwards. I know sometimes the next day you can be stiff and sore. Take care.

Sherri I am with you about not eating after 6 or 7 in the eve. I know I did better when I did that. I think I will make that a goal for me this week. Not to eat after 7:00pm also. I hope you get some replys to your ad. I am sure that you will. You are doing great. That was a good choice in taking your own things to eat. So you are getting in control. That is wonderful. You go girl.

Well to everyone else. I hope everyone is able to have a lazy Sunday. Take time for yourself. I am thinking of everyone. Welcome all newbies. I am going to get off here. Need to check the rest of my messages. Gonna make me some tea and go cross stitch. For me that is relaxing. Have a great day.
