Unhappy Tough Thursday 8/22

Good morning ladies,

Excuse me if I'm not too chipper today........but........... I lost my KOPS last eve. No one to blame but me. I have been pretty good for the past 2 weeks also, so I feel a bit perplexed. Guess I played with fire to long and finally got burned. I allowed myself to have a 'pity party' tonight and pig out after meeting. Had nothing to lose, so I figured 'why not'. Hopefully, it will be out of my system now. Interesting fact............it was 5 years ago last week that I lost my KOPS the first time. Maybe there is something about August that is bad news for me. Now, it better not take me 2 years to get KOPS back like last time.

Wendy, I like what you wrote yesterday. Made me stop and think about a few things. Sounds like your on the right track.

Sherri, Glad your scale is showing a downward trend. I look forward to hearing how you do tonight. You have such a positive attitude no matter what. Have a great time with John this weekend. [blush]

Coco, nice to see your post. Hang in there and hopefully things will get on more of an even keel so you will be here more often.

Nita, hope you have another loss on your next weigh in. So nice to read your post too, but I'm having a real lapse at the moment to all you said. Must go back and refresh this 'old' brain of mine. [sorry]

ELENI, Thought of your 'orange' fingers last eve and thought that I should have some too. Luckily the stores were closed when that crossed my mind. Boy, when the 'I don't care' attitude takes hold, it is so hard to shake it. We sure need to 'shake' something, huh?

Christie, you're becoming a stranger again............how are you doing? Are you ready for your butt kicking that you told me to give you???? Now, I'm ready for mine!

Come on all you MIA's..........come back to us. We all need the support and you KNOW that we all care. Don't stay away....it's too easy to fall into that trap....keeping accountable is SO IMPORTANT to our success on this weight loss journey. That goes for all you newbies too.............keep coming back for support. That's what TOPS is all about. OK, here's a Gee, don't we make a great group!!!!!!!!

I like this color. Summer sorry to hear about your statis, but sure am glad you made it back. Take it one day at a time lady. Shake the bootie, and don't eat the cookie. You can do this. I know when we get in a rut it's hard to come out. But think of one thing you can change today to help you get on track. Even if it's not eating a klondike, which by the way I made it. Yesterday before I went to work out my husband said why bother, eating 3 klondikes in a night just counter reacts it. Which he is right. But i still wanted to stick my tounge out at him. Anyway Summer, Small things, then maybe if you added another one to it daily or weekly it might help. Eleni-I'm with sherri, you can pull out of this thing too. Just focus on one thing. Any little thing we do will help us. Sherri you were up way to late for me girl. Great job staying under points. I too manage that, but like you said, i beat the klondike monster. I did have 2 treats last night, but the 2 of them together didn't add up to one of the klondikes calories or fat. So todays' goal is no klondikes, more fruit. I have a tendency to leave these out. I still plan on doing curves, and keeping under my points. Cross your fingers. You can do this girl. Also i'm doing some practicing on the game thing. It's been way to long. As for me. I'm thinking about changing my hours back to almost normal. More sleep, and sometimes an extra time to work out. We will see. I'm going to do those 2 things today. I'm not sure about making more fruit a goal though. Seems like i need to be tougher on myself. Well gotta go. Everyone remember bob the builder. Good morning. Tonight is my weigh in and it won't be good. Hopefully it won't be toooo big I am still exercising the best I can but the eating is nothing to brag about. I am working on getting back on track but I have not succeeded yet. I am so proud of those of you that are doing so good. Keep it up.Maybe it will rub off on us

Summer,

I'm sure you can get it back. I find it so difficult to diet in the summer with all the social functions, etc. I missed my weigh-in on Tuesday because my husband was working late. I've only made 3 of the last 6 due to different reasons. I find come the fall I am more regulated and back in the swing of things.

I am not going to give you a pity party girl. What you need is a good kick in the butt and I am here to give it to you. I know you will appreciate this. Remember I am here for you. You can do this. And no it won't take you 2 years to get it back. Make your goal to get it back in sept. and stick with it. You can do this. You had your indulge now get moving girl.

Great job on the loss. I know you don't know how you did it but you did and you should take it as it is A LOSS. You will have another one next week to. Keep going now the ball is moving in the right direction take advantage of it.

How are you doing?

Well I managed a 3/4 lb loss tonight. I was very happy with that. Considering that I didn't do great all week. But I did try for the most part but didn't do as good as I would have liked. But I will take the loss. Hopefully it will be one of many to come.
I got a weight watchers meal tonight for my lunch tomorrow. Just something different and easy to count the points it is on the box. But I don't want to eat them everyday. So I am hoping to have a better on plan week this week. We go to the fair on sat so we all know what that means.

Hello all !
Just a quick test to see if I am able to post here again! Its been ages and ages since I've been back to 3FC and so much has changed ! Will have to find out how to do the smileys and stuff again!
I've been in TOPS 3 years and have had 2 children since I started with my chapter. Have over 100 to "get rid of", so I will be on this journey for a long while! Will have to go back and read messages and "meet" everyone, talk later...
