Default Terrific Tuesday

Good Morning everyone,

I thought I would get the post started for the day. Hope everyone is doing well.
I've walked my 2 miles this morning, but haven't got my exercise started. I'm tired this morning, just don't seem to have any energy.
Wendy, I hope that Brandon is feeling better. How was weigh in last night?
Eleni.... Great going on taking the piano lessons. I know that you will enjoy them. You're doing good with your exercises also. I'm having trouble getting started.
Summer....Your old west celebration sounded interesting. When our son was at the Air Force Academy, Jim and I visited some of the old mining towns around Colorado Springs and Denver. We also went up to the Rocky Mountain National Park. We had friends that lived in Denver at the time, and they knew all the places to go. It was a lot of fun. I would like to go back sometime and visit again.
Sherri, Christie, Coco, Crazy4, and all the others, I hope that you are having a good week and staying on plan. Let us know how you are doing.
I love these new Smilies.

I've got to go. I have a lot to do today.
Nita

Thumbs down

Happy Monday to all. Thought I'd put my 'shades' on while there is still some sun. We've been clouding up everyday and I pray that today is the day we get some rain.

Nita, don't discount that 2 miles that you walked as not being exercise!!! I think it's wonderful you did that. Anything on top of that is a great addition though. I'm having trouble just getting the basics in...can only do so many laps around my tiny house. I just love the Co Spgs area...and I'm sure you did enjoy yourselves here. There is so much to do and see. I discovered Co when I visited a girlfriend in college, fell in love, went back to Michigan told my parents I was moving to Co in 6 months, and never looked back. I love my mountains. Hope you get some energy back....but again, WOO-HOO on the walking.

I'm really having to reel myself back in for weigh in tomorrow. I'll tell you, this is a real struggle. I have had HORRENDOUS candy cravings...the pull is really scarey. I'm sure I will be out of leeway again. GEESH! Do have to say that if I weren't a KOPS, I wouldn't be caring so much, but it bothers me so. I couldn't be one of those members that don't want the KOPS status because it is so hard to hang onto.....that's when I would totally blow it royally. Know what I mean?

How is everyone else doing today? My day is going to consist of trying to find my drivers license, credit card, a few other things I had together in my purse that decided to disappear. Trying to retrace my steps, but can't put my finger on anything. Hmmmm [Gee, I seen to be mostly confused today, don't I]

Ok, gonna shake the old bod and start solving my problems.

Nita,

Summer is right about the walking being exercise. I think that is great to be able to do that. You are doing great. Keep up the great work.

Summer,

I hope you finally found your missing stuff. You can do this girl. Remember to throw out the candy and start over tomorrow fresh with no mistakes. The first thing though is to GET IT OUT OF YOUR HOUSE if it isn't in the house then you CAN'T eat it right?
I know it is hard right now but you need to concentrate on you a little at least girl. You need that right now. To reel yourself in.
It sure was great talking to you yesterday.

Christie,

Glad to hear that you and marissa are back on track. It doesn't matter if it is slow going. At least you are on track and that is all that matters.

I am slowly getting back on track myself. It isn't easy with all the changes around here. But I will get there to.

Stay motivated and you and marissa can help each other. Remember no dinner after the meeting. You will NEVER get to KOPS that way girl. Keep eating all that great fruit you got yesterday.

Wendy,

How is brandon doing today? I hope he is doing better. I feel so bad for the little guy. He is sick a lot. Remember to take things one at a time when trying to organize and create your routine. It even took God more then one day to create the earth.LOL Baby steps is all it takes girl.
How did weigh in go anyway? Keep up the great work. Are you going back to curves today? It was great chatting with you the other night. I missed talking to you.

Eleni,

You sound great. Sounds as if the piano lessons are doing well. You will be playing songs in no time. Maybe with something new and exciting in your life it will keep you motivated to stay on track. How are you doing this week? I know you can do it.

Penny, Coco where are you guys. I miss you soooooo much. Come out of hiding ladies.

good afternoon all
Nita-weigh to goal on the exercise. Look at it this weigh, 2 miles closer to goal than yesterday.
Summer-I'm with sherri, get it out of your house. I buy mostly sugar free cookies now, and chips are either ones with a higer amount of fiber, or low fat.
Icecream is no sugar added and low in fat. I have my days. but being prepared helps somewhat though. Where orginally from Michigan are you from? I also hear that the KOPS statis is very hard to keep. How many pounds around your goal weight can you be and remain a KOP? Hang in there. YOu have a lot to deal with on a daily basis. Set small reachable goals. YOU can do it.
Christie-weigh to goal on the good food menu thread. You can do this I know you can.
Eleni-doing good on the piano. Keep on keeping on lady.
Me, brandon is still running a fever, and hopfully this is the last day of that. Then comes the other end. Which could last up to 5 days. I on the other hand haven't had the high fever, or sick stomach. Just kinda nasty in my stomach, i have the other end. I have a headache from no caffinee today, and am having my first green tea. However the other aftermath might not be pleasing either. Brandon was up all night last night sick. At least once an hour. So since i'm not feeling well, no curves. I did manage to leave with a loss last night. A nice one.
So i have to be good to keep it up. I also joined the tops interactive yesterday, and am getting ready to work on that some. Need to check my mail and see if my sister is around. You all hang in there. WHERE ARE ALL THE MISSING IN ACTIONS. BESIDES MISSING.
