Default Stormy Tuesday

Hey Wendy,

You are doing great. You are back on track have the right attitude and you will lose those 2 lbs this week. You are doing all the right things. Keep it up. I will be getting back to curves myself next week. I have a lot to do to get back on track before my next weigh in.

Congratulations on only having a small gain. Considering you were away. That is great. You are not set back too far.

Well me on the other hand. According to Christies scale I am up 7 lbs since I got here. We have eaten so much. It has made us sick of food.LOL So when I get back to New York it is time to buckle down and do this. All my vacations are over for the year now. I have to get this weight off. And I will. I am not pregnant this month. I am kinda dissappointed but it wasn't meant to be I believe. Hopefully next month will bring happier news. We will try again. At least it is fun trying.LOL

Eleni,

Don't worry lady. You can get back on track. Just set your mind to it and you will do fine. You know what you have to do and you will do it in your time. We are all here for you. I have been off track since just before I left home. It happens to all of us. You are still a great caring woman and that will never change. I think the world of you. You can do this and we are here to help. Keep smiling and think of your goals and your health.

We had a great time at the lake. We rented this great cabin. It was nicer then my own house. It was great. We are off to six flags today. It is my last day here. We are leaving christies today. I am all packed to go home. We won't be coming back here. I had to buy an extra duffle bag to put our roller blades in. I had no room for them. I kinda bought too much.LOL But we will get it all home. The little girl is ready to go home. She is missing daddy something fierce. She cried last night because she said she wanted to go home and that she said she wanted to stay there and not come here. But she has had so much fun with christies girls. They get along like they have known each other all their lives. She said she was glad she came the other day. So I know it is just that she can't stand to be away from daddy that long. She will be so far up his but tomorrow when she sees him I will have to pull her out.LOL But that will be okay. I miss him to but boy am I having a great time here. I am so glad I came out to meet christie finally. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Well I have to get ready we have a 3 hour drive to Six Flags today so we must be leaving soon. I have to shower and get the girls up.
Have a great day everyone. I will see you all on thursday. I fly home tomorrow. I am sad to go because we have had a great time but it is time to get back to work and back to the real world.LOL

Think thin and think before you eat.

Good Morning Everyone,

Eleni....It sounds like you and I are having the same problem of staying on track. Our battle is with ourselves. We have the desire to eat more than we need.......and yet we know that it is not healthy for us. It's like a constant battle raging. "I'm tired of staying on a diet" verses "I have to because of my health". I think that I could stick with it better if I could see some progress. But we work so hard and barely have a loss, but if we get off it for a few days, we have a hugh gain.
I am working on an attitude adjustment, but it still needs some fine tuning.

DH and I went to the DR. yesterday. I had complained to her about being so tired and having no energy, so she ran some tests. My blood sugar is a little high, so I know that I have to stay on my diet and get my weight back down. Everytime I gain it goes up, but if I keep it down another 10# or so, my blood sugar is normal. She gave hubby a diet to follow, so if he will try it, I think it will be a lot easier for me. Enough about me.

Wendy.....You are doing good. I agree with Sherri, that is a small gain for a week of camping. We use to camp and really enjoyed cooking out.
That Hatfields and McCoys contest sounds interesting. What are the rules? We are looking for a team contest to start soon. I already have the prizes for a team.

I gotta go. I have to go shopping for a wedding present. And the store that they are registered at is about a half hours drive so its going to be another busy day for me.

Have a good day, everyone.

Nita

Hey YOu all thanks. I'm trying. But I too have my hard days, and times. Sometimes it's all day.
Sherri- I miss talking to you on the net. So you are ending you vacation, but I'm glad to be able to talk to you more.
You too will get those pounds off girl. Also, did you already have the inline skates, or did you just buy them. Just wondering, how long did it take to get use to them.
Nita-rules for the game, easy. Weight loss. That's it.
We also have an attendance one going sometimes, each week you are there you put in a ticket, at the end of the 4-6 weeks we draw a few names.
other than that not much going on.
talk to you all soon.
Glad those of you that are stopping by keep it up. For those of us that are having a hard time. Don't worry, this too shall pass.

Just wanted to pop in and say "HI!" to everyone. Not time for much more. I too am struggling horribly and need an 'attitude adjustment'.

Noticed that Crazy4Carbs has a BIRTHDAY today. Have a BLAST and a wonderful HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Now, don't eat too many of those cake carbs!! A little is OK on your special day, just don't go 'crazy'.

I had planned on doing some exercises this afternoon but it is almost 5 and piano man is still here. That means no exercises here. I did some walking at work and my streches. Am still not motivated. I did stay away from vending machines.
Some of the ladies are going to meet next week and go to a pool. I think I offended one because I said I wasn't going. I have a pool and I go no where during the week as I go to bed early. I do not like to have anyone try to force me to do something. She informed me I was always telling everyone to support each other. And that getting together socially is one way to do it. Well. I reminded her that I kept in touch with more people during any given week than anyone else. I realize that some of them want to get away from family etc but I am not one. Anything in TOPS should be volunteer. I would never try to make anyone do something they don't want to. I guess I am just too much of a loner at heart. Ok Got that off my chest.
I am trying to get turned around but not succeeding very well yet.
I feel the same way as Nita. Torrow is a new day so hopefully it will better.

Ladies you can do it. One day at a time.
you are right Eleni, no one should be forced or made to feel quilty about doing something or not doing it. So hang in there all of our efforts will pay off.
