Default Tuesday

Congrats on the weight losses so far. Great job ladies.
The scale was nice to me. Watching what types of carbs and the sugar is really paying off. Don't get me wrong. I still eat the no, no kind, but i guess i'm getting a hang on the moderation thing.
Mom and dad issue. Still a mess, if not a bigger one. I'm not going there here today, and i'm going to try and stay away from it here on the boards. I feel this morning that this is my time, and with the situation the way it is, it is taking off my focus. So sorry ladies, and here goes. Hubby and I talked a little more about the curves thing. They are running a special here for the month of June. Also I say it but don't do it, so i won't say that i'm going to work out on the gazelle tonight. I did however get it out from the storage position, so I have to look at it differently when I pass by it. I was going to do it this morning, but I'm running on 5 hours of sleep as it is. I hope everyone has a great day, i'll be back later. I'm at work.

Hello all you BEAUTIFUL ladies out there. Hope everyones day is going great and lets try to stay on plan by thinking of US and how much better WE FEEL when we do..........not only physically........but mentally since we're not beating up on ourselves because we 'blew it'. I'm a great one at excuses also.....we just need to DO IT and stay positive! OK, there is my pep talk to myself........

The eating has been better. MY choices could be smarter but the portion sizes are realistic and my body does feel better. Definitely going to spend some time on the bike when I get off here. In fact, I'm going to end this now so I can't make an excuse. SUPER CHARGED {{{{{{{{VIBES}}}}}}}}

Have a great one........and don't forget to get all your liquids in for the day, preferably water, or decaf, or calorie free!

Unhappy New to this site, neec encouragement

Hello,

I'm very happy to find this site, what a Godsend for me, and then to find that there is a section for us Tops members?! Very happy about that.

I've been going to Tops since early April, had 3 positive weigh-ins and then 2 negative weigh ins (gained), although I was still down over-all. I've missed the last meeting due to car problems and now I don't want to go tomorrow because i'm being negative and feeling that the results won't show. I don't feel I have the support I need and I guess that's why I'm here. I'm not accountable to anyone, even myself anymore. So how do you all go on? Really want to lose these 50#'s. I'm so tired of being sick and tired.

Mitchypoo..you can do it! Go to the meeting..youll feel better. I have 100+ to lose but its all small steps.So far Ive lost 16 lbs and tomorrow is my weigh in.

Summer..I love your attitude,gurl!!!

Did as I said and hit the bike. Completed 2 sets of 3 mi each....so far 6 mi total. WOO-HOO!!!! Feels good!

Welcome Michele! staying away from your meetings will never get you to your goals. That is just another way of avoidance.....and you don't want to do that. Unfortunately WE must be accountable to ourselves.....and trying to ignore that will not get anyone anywhere. Hold your head up and get to your meetings. We've all had those feelings. But not acting on them causes us to stumble and we can't go through life like that. Our mind set makes all the difference in what we do..........others CAN'T do it for us.

This is a great bunch of ladies here. We probably get more support here than at our meetings, but that is not unusual. If you can find just one person at your chapter that is wanting a buddy to help with encouragement, latch on and hold each other up. That's what TOPS is supposed to be about, support.

I've been in TOPS 9 years and will always be. I lost 60.75#'s to goal and lost KOPS status once regaining 25 pounds. I have a lot going on in my life, but my health, and others depending on me, is too important and this helps to keep my focused. If it weren't for those scales and the accountability to myself, I would be just as heavy [if not more].

Hang in there and be true to yourself. Take care.....and get to your meeting!

Hello,

Summer~thank you for your very encouraging post! It hit home with me and it did encourage me. I feel that tonight's weigh in may not be what I want, think i've gained, but i WILL go and be accountable and I will not give up. I know what I did to get me here and all I can do is do better today and tomorrow.

Going tomorrow for an ultra-sound, i think i may have an ovarian cyst so i'm a little anxious, wanting them to make sure everything is OK or do what they have to to correct it.
