Thank God that yesterday has past and today is a new day. I ate a lot yesterday. Triscuts for breakfast, some fat free pringles, 1 sugar free cookie. Not bad hugh. Hang on
2 hotdogs, with buns. 2 spoons full of potato salad (not made with anything low fat). a torittia thingy. baked beans (2 helpings)
chips. desert 1 strawberry shortcake not made with splenda, cool whip. Desert #2 turtle sundae. The only thing that saved me here is I didn't eat all the topping, or the whole sundae. and a mike's hard lemonade.
So I'm shaking this off, and having a new day. I have one week to get it off. Oh, buy the way, my scale broke yesterday. The one I weigh on, should I take offense to this. Na. I dropped a weight on it, and heard it bang, then I got on it. It won't do anything now. I also seen this awesome food scale the other day at meijers. It has food programed into it. 30. I hear that and a new digital scale calling my name. Well I'll touch base latter. Welcome omi_2. Glad you are hear, and nice idea. Hang in there with the rest of us. We can make it.
Welcome omi. Its good to have another Floridian aboard. I tried to look at your internet site, but it didn't come up for me. I got Yahoo groups, but couldn't find where to go from there. I'm finding that the weight is getting harder and harder to come off also. But TOPS encourages me to keep trying.
Eleni.......I can relate to the "Spook Hill" trip. Back in the early 60's when we first came to FL and lived in Kissimmee, my in-laws, Jim and I went to "Spook Hill". What a disappointment! They used to advertise it on billboards as a "tourist attraction", so we thought it would be a lot more than a white line across the highway, saying "stop here".
We went to my son and daughter-in-law's for a cookout yesterday and I did real well with the main meal. DIL is a KOPS and does great with planning a healthy meal, but my lovely granddaughter baked 2 cheesecakes. Cheese cake is my favorite dessert and has about 500 calories per slice (At least 400 calories), and it was delicious. I walked 2 miles this morning and mowed the front lawn, so I'm hoping that I burned off a lot of those calories.

I just got in from my morning walk, have to take shower and get ready for work. I only work 3 hours 15 minutes 4 days a week since my retirement. I also am glad to see another Floridian.
Hi Ladies
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I hope everyone was able to control their eating better than I was. Boy I just dont know about this. Had a cookout at my Mom and Dad's farm. Cooked out over the open fire. Done hot dogs and hamburger and then kielbasa. That is my down fall. I had 4 pieces and on hot dog. Slices of diet wheat bread (35 cals a slice) then I had some pasta salad made with wheat pasta, 2% cheese and carrots, raddishes and grape tomatoes and it had a mixture of Light done right and Just 2 good Italian Salad dressing 1/2 devil egg. And 4 pieces of veggie pizza. Boy what a little I am. Got on the scales this morn. OH MY. Good thing I dont get to weigh in tonight. They are having a meeting but my son is in the FFA. They are having their banquet tonight. He told me We dont have to go to the banquet. You can go to TOPS. But I told him no. That this is for him. He usually dont want to go to things at school. But he likes the FFA. So I will take him there. But this will give me a chance to get some of this weight off that I have gained since last week. I think I am retaining alot of fluid. My hands are really swollen and my ankles. So I guess I need to start drinking more water. But I am going to try and make some really good food choices at the banquet tonight. I have even thought about eating something here before we go. Maybe some salad or a slim fast bar. That way maybe I wont be as hungry and then I wont overeat. And I will take some water with me. We walked two miles this morn. Well enough of my ramblin. Boy ladies do I need the encouragement to get back on track. And I know you ladies and give me the kick in the butt that I need. You are a great bunch of ladies.
Omi2_3 Glad to have you with us. That is great that you are going back to TOPS. I think that that helps in the wieght loss. Knowing that you have to face that scale. I know I should face it tonight. But my son has something going on at school. So we are taking him there. I am trying to do the points. And I will check out the site. Thanks for the address.
Shortstack. I know exactly how you feel with the eating. As you can see from above I ate alot yesterday. I forgot to add. I had a cheese sandwich for breakfast. But I am back on track. I think. No I know I am. I feel to bad not to be. So I know we can do this. I am thinking of you and praying for you and your Dad.
Sherri. Where are you? Are you doing ok. I miss you. How's Curves coming. How many inches have you lost so far? You are doing great. Keep up the great work. Because it is work to lose this weight. You take care.
Well ladies I think the washer has stopped. So I need to get off here and hang up my clothes. I like to hang the clothes out to dry. I may do the bed clothes tomorrow. You all have a great day. Hang in there. Together we can do this.
A TOPS PAL
Thanks for the welcome. Our leader has lost a lot of weight with the point system. Sounds like you did good yesterday. We had a lazy day yesterday, felt good for a change. I did make potatoe salad, but watched my portion. Have a great day and off to work soon.
I am still here. I have not disappeared yet.LOL I have been extremely busy and with the great weather have been outside enjoying it. I also ate too much over the weekend. I did lose 1 1/2 lbs last week but I found it this weekend. Curves is going great. I went back today. They were closed yesterday because of the holiday which was not good. But I did buy over the weekend at a yard sale a total body workout weight set machine. It does the pull downs for arms, then you can push out with arms, and it does the leg curls also. So I did that for 30 min mixed with the aerobics changing every 35 sec. like I do at curves. This way I can do it here when they are closed on the weekends. I also went for a 40 min walk and it was 3 miles. It usually takes me 1 hour to do that walk so I am getting better. It is getting harder to get my heart rate up to where it should be and the girl said today that it is because my heart is getting stronger. I was doing so great with the eating last week then I got off plan and I am very tired again. But I worked out so much last week that I had to take a break come thursday. So I didn't workout from thursday to yesterday.
Well I have to cut this short my friend just pulled in with her kids I have to watch so I will check in later.

This weekend, I had 3 pieces of Swiss cheese at my in laws with supper. I came home and checked how many cals are in that and i ts about 100 per sice! EEEK!! Cheese is my downfall.....

Glad to hear you are back on track. Get your butt moving in the exercise dept girl.LOL Lets build some muscle together. I am building a lot of muscle and replacing that fat. The scale is not really coming down nor the inches I can't wait until it catches up and the scale and inches start to come off. I am glad you are back up and running with your computer also. Even though I have been so busy and haven't had time to get online I would truly miss it and hate it if I couldn't come here. How was your turkey the other day.
You can keep the cold weather there. It is finally starting to warm up here. It has been in the 70's here. Megan was swimming in her little pool yesterday and today with her friends. We haven't opened the big pool up because it has been so cold except for the past few days.
Keep up the great work you are doing great. Sorry I haven't been here much there is so much going on in my life right now and enjoying the great weather and the longer nights also. It is easy to lose track of time also.

How are you doing? I haven't been able to read the past posts how is your dad doing? Did you make any decisions yet as to what you are going to do? I know you had to meet at the hospital the other day. How did it go? You keep up the great work. You are back on track today and that is all that matters. You are doing great.
