Default Sunday

I made it thru yesterday fairly good. Ate out twice and did not overeat either time. Altho I did break down and get some candy when we went to the movies. Once again I have to say I am very lucky that my husband tries to help anyway he can. We only got one entree and we split it. That saves a lot of calories. If it is on my plate I will eat it. We will be eating out twice today too so I will try to be careful how I do.
The weather here is beautiful. Warm but not too hot. I talked to Summer the other day and it was 32 deg compared to my 86 deg.
It will soon turn really hot here but that is why air conditioning was invented.
I have made our reservations for Savanna Ga for our anniversary in July. We will drive up to Fayetteville and meet Bill's sister and hubby and spend one day together. I am also very lucky to have great inlaws. So now I have something new to look forward to. And another reason to lose weight. We will need to do a lot of walking and the more weight I lose the easier it will be. I don't want it to be like when we went to NYC and I missed a lot because I could not walk.
We all miss out on things because of our weight. Especially those of us that are really large. But the more weight we lose the more things we will be able to do. There are a lot of things I use to do that I look forward to doing again.
Ok I have written a book today. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Talking good morning

Weigh to goal eleni, and that is a very good idea about splittling the food. Some resturants charge you more, like $2. Did the resturants you went to do that?
Thanks Crazy, I know you are right. However at this point I feel like we are starting to take sides and I don't like that.
Planning a trip to the movies to see "Spirit" with the little guy.
I ate a big piece of anniversy cake yesterday. Tride to leave the frosting off. With all the comotion going on I forgot that it was mine and hubbys tomorrow. Two years. His parents had dinner for us. We had taco, and or taco salad. I ate as much lettuce as I could. I had everything else lowfat, and or WOW chips. But I think the cake wasn't a good choice. Then I came home and had sugar free icecream. My husband was how can you eat that. I guess the quote "where there is a will, there is a way". I need to think that for the weight loss off. I will probably have popcorn at the movies. I'm taking mom too.
All you ladies, I hope you are very busy, that is why you haven't been around. Missing you all that haven't checked in. Those that have keep going. We can do it.
One day at a time.
take care.

Where we went did not charge extra. There are some that do but it is worth the $2 to not overeat. But you would be surprised at how many places do not charge and are very helpful. A few people even put it on seperate plates and the others gave us an extra plate. I know Chili's,Applebees,Olive Garden are a few that do not charge and are very happy to accommadate. You would be surprised how helpful some restaurants will be if you ask. I was always too shy but not anymore. But most entree's are way more than what we should eat and 1/2 is more than enough. We even share soup and salad. Sometimes I just want a taste of soup but if I order it I will eat it all. Poor husband always waits til after I get mine as I am a pain about eating after anyone. Didn't I tell you he was the best.
We eat out a lot on the weekends and I had to come up with some kind of plan I can live with. This looks like it will work fine. We take turns picking the entree.

Happy Sunday ladies!!!

It is so good to be back on here at a 'normal' speed. We changed our major ISP to EarthLink.....and oh, what an improvement!!!!

Been doing well with the eating, but I am severely lacking in the exercise catagory. Today I have a turkey roasting and it smells soooooo good. Can't wait till it will be ready in 4 hours. Going to have fresh spinach and tomato along with the white meat. Going to try to stay away from the dressing. Love that stuff.

Eleni, I am so glad to hear that you are doing better with the eating out. You are doing great!!!!! Hey, it's a little warmer today....all of 50 degrees at 2pm! Wish I could float around your pool with you!!!

Wendy, I am sorry to hear about all the stuff you are going through with your dad. That is tough! My prayers are with your family. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!

Sherri, CC, Christie, Maryann, Coco, Nita, and all the other great women on this board......how are you all doing? Miss hearing from those that haven't posted for a while!!! Come on.....shake off those pom-poms and get the old spirit back if your having a tough time. We all know what it is like.

Don't eat too much tomorrow if you are attending those holiday picnics! One lady that I know says, 'YOU CAN'T PUT IT ON IF YOU DON'T PUT IT IN'!!!!
True, true, true.

Have a great day and drink your water to help fill you up!!!
