It is a beautiful day here today. We are going to spend the day together today and I am not going off plan. I decided to ask another mom and her kids to go with us to a park and we are going to pack a lunch to take with us. This way we get out and have fun, don't spend money and I don't have to go off my plan for the day. What an idea you think? I think it is great. I am feeling great again today. I am so strong and I feel like I can really complete my challange. My scale is still up 1 lb from last week but my measurements are coming down and I am doing everything right and I am not cheating at all. So that means a lot to me. I am going to keep going for sure.

Hi Ladies
The sun is trying to shine here. But it is kinda cool. Suppose to get up to 60 today. Then suppose to have rain again tomorrow. I haven't exercised yet today. But will do something. When son comes home from school we are going out to our church so he can mow the yard there. That is his job for the summer. Then we are having a meeting there tonight. So that will work out great. That way we dont have to make 2 trips.
Well I weighed in last night. And I stayed the same. I thought for sure I would have a gain. But I will take the same. The girl that won for winter princess last night wasn't there. And we have 2 KOPS. And we gave them a little basket of flowers and it had a angel in it. They were really nice and the girls seemed to like them. So I will have to work twice as hard and maybe some day I can be a princess. Maybe on of these days I will be a KOPS. But at this point I don't know. It just gets so frustrating. I know that I need to write down what I eat. And I also need to weigh and measure. But I guess at times I just need to take the time to write and do all the other things. Then again. I think I get into a routine. That I should know how much a cup is without measuring. Seems I have been doing this for so long that dont need to do all this stuff. But if I don't write it down. Then I guess I dont realize how much I eat. And then its not in black and white so I can actually see. Then I dont have to admit I have a eating problem. Does anyone else ever feel this way. So this week I am going to make sure I write down what I eat. I am going to lay the tablet at my place on the table. Then that way I will see it to remind me that I have to write down. I will drink my water. And I will exercise. So by doing all that I should have a loss next week.
Sorry ladies that Iwrote a book. I have to make pasta salad for church tomorrow night. Our Pastors wife passed away. So we are going to have a dinner for him and his family tomorrow night. But I am going to do fine on the eating there. I thought about even eating before I went. That way I wont be tempted with all the good stuff.

Sitting here at work listening to the wind blow. Man o'mister is it blowing! I think the walls may come down! We were supposed to have a high of +18 today but this front came in and changed everything. I had a funky little skort and summery top picked out for today but now I am bundled up in black and I have the space heater under my desk running!

At weigh in I turtled so I was very happy as I had a few NoNo's with the girls at PRD. Plus I have all summer to lose 5lbs so I really feel like I am living life now rather than racing to the finish line.

I started my challange and I am pushing between 25-35 lbs on all my dumbell work, and 50-70 lbs for my max reps on the bar, I still start clean tho, can hardly wait to start with some weight on it. So far all free weights, no machine work. I really get addicted to bicept and tricept presses and I love the pump afterwards! My goal for this challange is to get some deltoid stuff happening and NEVER wear anything with sleeves this summer. I really have to concentrate on hip flexor exercises to get rid of the last vestigages of my "love handles" and squats and lunges to raise my bum. My boobs are beyond hope, thank goodness for ingenious bras!
Ran for 35 minutes, and did the max push at 10.5 mph, thought my lungs were going to explode, but I am still here, so I guess it is true, that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger!

Hi everyone, It is good to be back among my TOPS friends. I was away for vacation, and didn't have access to a computer, so I missed y'all. I went to Pittsburgh, Pa to visit my brothers, then go with some friends to Niagara Falls for three days. Unfortunately, a bad tooth kept me from going to the Falls, and, in fact, because it broke off when the dentist attempted to extract it, I had to go to an oral surgeon, and that used up my vacation money and time. So, now I am home again, but look forward to actually seeing the Falls next spring.
Shortstack, thank you for the personal message, as I was fearful everyone would forget me since I have not been on for so long. I came back from vacation with a 2 pound gain, but am sure that will be gone, plus more this week, as I did stick to my plan during vacation except for one day when my brothers took me to this fabulous restuarant and I over ate! When I drive long distances, I seem to retain fluid, and when I attended my meeting on Thursday, I had just arrived back in town from driving 10 hours, went straight to the meeting before I even went home.
I have a question for anyone who is knowledgable of TOPS. One of my members just found out she is pregnant. I can't find anything information about how to handle her weighins. Is that info somewhere I should know about, but just haven't uncovered?
I don't recall who was talking about the no no's your chapter does each week, but I took that idea to my chapter and we decided to do that also. Since we are so small, still, we each wrote down 2 things that are no no's for us and put them in a container, then picked one for the week. We decided on a $1.00 fine for each time we ate the no no item. As luck would have it, the first one pulled was mine, and it was chocolate candy. And I was on vacation!! So it cost me $2.00 for the week, but that wasn't as bad as it could have been. This week was Little Debbies, and so far I have refrained. We dicided to give all the dollars at the end of the month to whoever won the contest for the month. Participation is optional, but if you chose to not participate, and you win the contest, then the no no money will go into the contest money fund.

Back home with Brandon. Sick Double ear infection and pink eye. He got a shot this time. Won't sleep for nothing and I know he wants to. He is throwing up everything. slight fever. But boy does he look tired. Back on plan today and doing better. Did exercises yesterday, and felt pretty good till now. Need a nap, you think little cowboy will layday. Off of work till monday. Thank god for fmla.
Mary Ann- glad you are back, and not doing to bad. We have a girl pregnant too. She had to have her doctor say how much she could gain. And she can't go over that weight. We didn't make her do any of the extra's. Sorry about your tooth, and shorting up your vacation.
