Good Morning Ladies!! Hope your Sunday will be a great one!
Let's get our cheering section going and keep up all the rootin' for our fellow TOPS pals! RAH-RAH-RAH!!!!!

Eleni, I am proud of you for doing the walk and not giving up. You survived just fine. Sure, you may have been tired when you were done, but deep down, your heart was probably thanking you for giving it a workout and making it stronger! That's one exercise that God gave us naturally, and it really is good for the whole body. Weigh to go!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS on your loss Thursday!

Sherri, Sorry you had a gain last week, but just keep eating low points and you know it helps you so much. Don't let exercise fool your mind into thinking that you can eat more. Take advantage of both! Glad Megan is better. It is amazing what one antibiotic dose can do...now make sure she gets the entire amount she was given. So many times parents will save some for the next time when the child appears better. Glad your leader got in touch with you. You two will do just fine.

Coco, Hope you are having a great time and the salt from the food doesn't hang with you too long.

Marie, I also have not seen/heard anything about the roll call rules changing. Field staff and chapter leaders will be getting that info from TOPS,Inc. I'll be looking for whatever your coordinator was reading. Was this a Workshop meeting that you were at? Hope you are doing well.

I'm having a hard time again this week. Stress level is back up and I'm having a tough time relaxing down. Carbs are calling my name something fierce. They appease me for awhile and then I want more....and more.....and more....etc! Guess I should hit some of DD valium, huh?

Good morning to all. I am sorta glad board is slow on weekends. It means you are out doing things with your friends and family instead of sitting at your computer.
as soon as it starts to get daylighy Hubby and I will go do our walk at beach. I won't be able to do it too much longer as it will be getting too hot. I sweat now when everyone else has a sweater on. I will use my treadmill then.
The scale is still down which is good. If I can keep it steady during the weekend I will have a loss on Thursday

Well Hi everyone. I'm not really happy with myself. I put away the scale on Monday, and it's like out of site, out of mind. I don't think I've done that bad, but I could of done better. That thing in some sense kept me on the right track. It made me crazy at times, and I haven't gotten back on it. But I'm curious to know. I made a phone call on thursday to see who set up my next dr. appointment for my workmans comp situation. And it seems that it was my employer and the insurance company. I may have caused this whole thing myself. A survey went around work, and I put my 2 cents in about how the company doesn't help long term employees. That they make them result to having the doctor change the restrictions so they can keep their job. Even though they both knew that the employee is in pain, and there were other employees not reporting things cuz they didn't want to be without a job. I also stated that the doctor said, can't they find something for you to do after being there for so long. (i just remembered I did do some exercising on Wed. but not much. Less than a mile). Sorry about that. Anyway the phone call let me know that this other doctor my determine a few things. If I can't preform my job, other accomidations will be made. Or total disablilty. I know things will work out for the best. I believe that. But to tell you the truth, I'm totally scared. I got one copy of paper work from one doctor and it seems that I have nerve damage in my right hand. Although, the left has improved. I think the doctor thinks as long as I'm doing the same job, it will come back. So I may be leaving a job I've had since 1985. We were going to look at pop up campers. But we are holding off till we know what is going to happen with me, somewhat. This could be a many years battle.

Sherri-sorry I haven't been around, and I'm glad meagan is doing better. I know this week will be better for you. I'm glad the tops chapter is looking up for you. You deserve it. I guess you were right. Hanging in there. Thanks for the card. I copied it.
Also thanks for the prayer. I said it. Also, you keep on doing what you are doing. It will all pay off in the end.
Summer-I know how you feel about having a hard time. You can get through it though. don't stop. Just keep on getting back on track.
cc-you go girl. Congrats on the loss this week. I'm proud of you. Could you send a little mouse my way, and kick me in the butt. So I can get busy like you. I am amazed. I still don't know how you do it.

Summer,

You know you can do this. I know you have a lot of stress in your life. But girl QUIT THE CARBS you know they make you crave more sugar girl. When you are hungry reach for fruit or veggies instead. It will kill the cravings you have. I know you know this. You ate low carbs last week and look at the awesome loss you had. You can and will do this again. Take control of your food girl don't give in to that bad temptation. You are going in the right direction keep going. I am behind you giving you a push. I don't want you to lose your status. I am here for you babe.LOL

That is great that your scale is still down over the weekend. You will have a great loss this week for sure. Wish I could say it was too hot to walk here. Actually it is beautiful here today I will go walking myself for about 1 1/2 miles around the block. I am also proud our you for doing the walk also. I want to find something like that that I can do also here.

Things will work out I just know it. Maybe it is a good thing that you have to go to their doctor for your work. Then they will really believe what your doctor is saying to be true. I always believe there is a reason for everything. We don't always know what it is and we might not like what is happening but it is always for the best. Just hang in there and ride it out. You will be fine.
Glad to hear you are still gazelling it. Just get back to writing down what you eat and stay away from the bad carbs.
You will do fine this week. Keep your chin up with a big ole smile on that face of yours.

I did okay yesterday. Went more by points then anything yesterday. I was within my range. But I went to mcdonalds and had nuggets and fries. No more junk this week. The scale is up 2 lbs but I did my workout last night. I timed it also for the first time it takes 45 min to do the whole routine then about 1/2 hour to hour to do the massaging afterward so I can move the next day.LOL But I am going to stick with it. I did get in all my water yesterday 96 oz. and 2 cups of green tea also. I am going to eat only legal stuff for the rest of the week. Hopefully all the exercise I am doing won't mess up the scale this week. I want a loss.

I will take my own advice and stay away from the bad carbs also. I know I do much better and I don't crave bad things when I don't eat them. So it is good bye white flour carbs for me for the rest of the week.

I even had just egg whites in my salad last night to cut down on the fat there.

I hope everyone has a great day. Summer I always finish out megans meds. I think it is important also.

Stay on plan today everyone and stay away from the bad vibe foods.LOL

Default Sunday

Good morning everyone,

I have a few minutes so thought I would pop in and say hi. My motivation is really dwindling. I don't know what is wrong. I am revved up at the meetings and get everyone else going but can't get myself started up. I kept getting advice on what to do and kept changing my eating. I think I am going back to when I first started and eat that way again and....get back to writing everything down. I know that is a big part of losing weight for me. I tend to lose track of what I have eaten and think it isn't so much but...it was more than I thought.

Summer........ I was at an executive meeting for our area. The co-ordinator calls one in April every year. There were quite a few there. It was interesting. I hope the information comes out soon.....maybe in the April package for leaders. I have to cut down on the carbs too. I could eat them all day. I won't cut them out entirely but have to cut down.

Eleni........ hope you enjoyed your walk at the beach. It sounds so nice to be able to walk at the beach. They are calling for a bit of snow sometime this week....some are saying today and tomorrow others are saying a few days later. It won't stay long at this time of year and we definitely need the moisture. Glad your scale is still down and I hope you see another loss this week.

Wendy........ hope things go well at your appointment. It will all work out for you.

Sherri....... I am going to join you on staying away from the bad carbs. They are like an addiction.....I keep eating them. I have eaten way too much junk this weekend. I am going to try and stay away from the bad stuff for the rest of this week and get back on track.

Hello All,
I have not posted in a while(I don't think! ha). I have been so busy. I have lurked a few times.
It's good that we are all hanging in there!
Eleni, I'm glad you did the walk Remember, If you completed it, you are a winner!
For those of you who are struggling, remember, we didn't gain in a day, so just take it slow and easy and do our exercise and drink water. We will succeed!
And for those of you who are doing good,CONGRATULATIONS! We are proud of you and you should be PROUD OF YOURSELVES!
I just got in from the lake house this afternoon. We opened it up for the summer. A little late this year, but the weather has been so cool and unsettled. Have to go back in the middle of the week to mow. It rained amd was so wet DH couldn't mow while we were there.
I had a loss last Thursday... 1 1/2 #...I was a little shocked, but happy. I have really been keeping track of every bite I put in my mouth! Will continue to Journal.

Hi Ladies
Sounds as if everyone has done well over the weekend. I am like some of you ladies with the carbs. I have been having trouble with them also. Like I am craving them. But when I eat some then I just want more. And then I have a hard time getting myself back in control. But I am trying to do better. I just need to go back to eating more of the wheat stuff. But it gets kinda expensive. I went and got me some chex mix today. It has 3 pts for 2/3 cup. So I thought I could use that some as a snack. But then again sometimes I eat it and cant stop. So if I start having a hard time with it I just decided I would hide it. If it is out of site out of mind. I did ride my bike today. I rode it 10 1/2 miles in 36 min and 35 seconds. But my knee got to aching so I stoped. Hope it wont be bothering me tomorrow so I can either ride or walk.

MICKY Glad to have you back.

DIMPLES I am with you. If I dont write down what I eat. Then I eat more. I think well I didn't have that much to eat. So one more bite or piece will hurt. So I try to journal everyday.

ELENI You should be proud of yourself for finishing that walk. I am proud of you. You keep up the good job. Before long you will have to buy you a new pair of walking shoes.

SUMMER I know what you mean about the carbs. Am having trouble with them myself. But am trying to get it under control. Got me some raddishes and grape tomatoes today. Thought if I want carbs I will grab a handful of some of these veggies. Just got to get them clean.

WENDY Good luck with the DR. I am sure everything will work out ok. Just keep your chin up. Keep up the good work.

SHERRI You are doing great with all the exercise. Just remember you are going to start building muscle. And that weighs more than fat. But if you are losing inches that is great also. So you keep up the great work. Those shorts will be fitting in no time.

To all the other ladies on the board. I am thinking of each and everyone of you. Hope you are doing well.
