Good Morning Everyone

It's a beautiful morning here and the beginning of a new week. It's a time for me to start over. I didn't do too well over the weekend, but the scale didn't show a gain this morning, so if I stick with my points this week. I CAN have a loss.

Marie......I'm sorry to hear about your stepdaughter. I'll certainly say a prayer for her, especially that she will get the help she needs. And I hope things will work out better for you in your chapter. How many members do you have?

Hope everyone has a good day. I'm going out this morning to look for costumes for SRD. I just have not come up with a good idea on who to go as. Everyone else know who they are going as, and a lot of them have their costumes.

Good Morning Ladies
Boy am I glad the weekend is over. I also hope I never see another Easter Egg. We made just over 300 eggs. I still smell chocolate.

Yesterday was our Anniversary. 18 years. We went and ate at Texas Roadhouse. Guess I shouldn't have ate there. Everything was pretty salty. Will have to drink alot of water today. I had a steak, bake potatoe with grilled mushrooms, and salad. I know on SB you are not suppose to have potatoes. But I haven't had a baked potatoe for some time now. So I got one. It did taste pretty good though. That is about the only thing on SB that I miss.

Do any of you ladies have the Weight Watches home kit? I was wondering if you liked it. I have it ordered. But I had to have my friend in Kentucky get it for me. Then she will send to me. Shouldn't be long now. Said they would be mailing it right out to her. But just was wondering if any of you liked it.

Well have some errends to run today. First will have to walk at least 1 mile. We start the 100 miles in 100 days thing. You are suppose to walk at least 1 mile a day. But no more than 12 miles a week. That is all you are allowed to turn in anyway. But last year when I did it. I would walk 14 miles aweek. Or 2 miles aday. This is just a way to get people to start getting healthy. The hospitals in our area are doing this. It is a Wellness Program that they have.
Well I better get off here. Need to shower and get ready to go to town. Am going to walk at the mall today. It is raining here. So cant walk outside. All you ladies have a good day.

Good morning everyone,

I want to thank everyone for their support. I really appreciate it.......I felt bad asking because I haven't been around much but will definitely come more often.
Nita........... We have 15 members. There are about 3 that don't come very often and I think one of those members is going to drop out entirely. She says she has too much going on. I have lots happening too and that is why I wanted to start the noon hour meetings. Right now we have a good number for the room we are in. If we get much bigger...we will outgrow our room.
It is a cold morning here. It was -21C when I left the house. Sorry...I am not sure what that is in F but....it is cold. We have had some snow and it is supposed to stay like this for the next few days. They say it is going to be a bit warmer by the end of the week but who knows for sure. We can't change it anyway. March and April are typically our snowiest months. I don't mind the snow as much as this cold.
Took the dogs in to daycare today. We don't take them often but try and get them in once every 2 weeks. Our older dog is very particular about who he plays with. He has a few favourites but otherwise.....he supervises the other dogs. He thinks that is his job. Our other dog.....loves to play with any dog. This morning there was a new puppy (4.5 months) that wanted to play with Rascal (our older dog) and Rascal wanted no part of this little dog. I have to call and check on him to make sure he isn't causing too much trouble. Rusty (our younger dog) was interested in the puppy so maybe they played until the other dogs started coming.
I am still trying to decide what to do for installation and awards next week. We can't do anything too elaborate because we only have a short time for our meeting. Does anyone have any good ideas that would be quick set up?

good afternoon ladies.
Marie-I just read your note-my thoughts and prayers are with you also, and your family. Also, every bit of exercise helps.
Eleni, Nita, Christie, Lara, Sherri, summer. Hope all is well with you guys.
Sherri-I will be ordering on line. Went to Kmarts yesterday, and was so disappointed. we had a shirt to return, that was a gift, we could exchange it for the exact amount. My husband couldn't find anything he wanted for the price, and of course they didn't have the same shirt that we could just exchange size. We also bought a lot of stuff there, and wanted to take the 11.99 off for the price of the shirt, and they wouldn't let us. We were mad. I hope no one works for them here, but we won't be returning. We almost put the stuff back, but brandon needed the clothes. Speaking of brandon, spent last night in the hospital. He's lost 6 pounds since Wednesday. He was dehydrated. Started throwing up again yesterday, with no fever. He couldn't keep his meds down, so that is why we went. We got home at 4 this morning. They checked his levels and they were ok, so they didn't give him any meds. I had to give him more this morning. (meds for seizures) Waiting on the doctors office to call back so I can get another note, and flma papers, so work isn't on my butt. He has dark circles under his eyes, and I still can't get him hardly to drink. Only surpose to be on clear liquids today. The past week has not been fun. Not sure if I will go tonight. I'm tired, and just not sure. I probably will go though. I'll check in later I hope. Take care ladies

You don't worry about a loss this week. As long as the scale didn't go up you should be fine. Just get back on track today like you planned and you will be fine. It is always a good thing to make it through the weekend without a gain. You will be fine.
What kind of costume are you looking for anyway? What is everyone else going as?

Did you get in your 1 mile this morning? Sounds like you had a very busy weekend. I think I would be sick of eggs also after 300 of them. That is great that you make them like that though.
You did great at dinner also. So what you had a potato like you said you haven't had one in a long time. I hear you there. I have not been cooking them either. I did last week one day but I didn't have any. My husband is the type to have them every night. But he hasn't been complaining that I haven't made them. Also we had the WW angel hair pasta last night with the No Sugar Added spaghetti sauce. All he said is is this a different sauce I said yes. He said it tastes different. I never told him it was the no sugar added one. He would have had a fit. So he just ate it and had 2 helpings. While I measure out my 1 cup and stuck with that.
As far as the WW at home. I don't have that. I just count the points on my own. I know how to do it. I have never been to a meeting either so I wouldn't know what they are all about. But I do love counting the points. But lately the way I have been eating I have not been counting the points. Also I just started using the fitday.com site and that keeps track of all my calories for me for the day. So that is neat. Let me know what it is like when you get it.
Keep up the great work and you will have a loss this week.

You have about the same size group as we do here at home. All we do for installation is light a candle for each officer. Well they light their own candle and they gave everyone a pink carnation last year. It is simple and then they have to repeat the vows to the old leader as a group I think. Can't remember if they did it individually or as a group. But it was not a lengthy thing and it was simple.
I hope this helps. You will have to sit down and talk to your group and tell them that it run by one person it has to run as a whole.

How is brandon doing today? I feel so sorry for him he is so little to have to be going through all of this. Do they even know what the problem is yet so that they can get him better? I know you have had so much going on with everything lately and for you to be losing weight that is great. That means you are really devoted to you and you will do this. We are all here for you also.
I hope he get better soon. Yes don't forget your paperwork or your work will be on your butt again.

I ordered online and didn't have problem. The reason Kmart might be acting the way they are is because they are going bankrupt. So that might be why they are so bad with returns. Trying to get all the money they can.

You keep doing good. We will both be at goal this year. We can do this.

As for me,

I am doing great today. I didn't gain any weight over the weekend so I know that whatever I do from today on through will count towards a loss. I am just eating less and if I eat something that has a lot of fat or something then I won't eat another meal that day. I am keeping track of what I eat through the fitday program and it is free.
I also got free passes for a dinner/lunch cruise from 2 different companies. Also I got a horse and carriage ride for 2. They do that all year round. So either the summer or a fall would be a great time to use that. It is like 1/2 hour away. So I might call and see how much it would cost for them to come to a town nearby that is a tourist trap and ride from there to somewhere like in the parks and stuff. It can't be too much.
