Default Saturday

It has been raining for 2 days now. Very dreary.
The 1 free weigh in was something a past leader started and I started again last year.
I have to be honest and say the TOPS rules do say that everyone is to weigh in. I just want you all to understand that.
But I believe we have to use compassion also. And just knowing they have the free pass makes them come sometimes when they wouldn't. Some never use their pass. If they do not use their pass in the 6 month period they can not save it for next. One each 6 months period.
When they use their pass they go in the weight book as a turtle. We put the weight down as the same as it was the previous week. It means they have to lose more the next week but sometimes that is better than a really big gain.
And I am a big softy. I let them weigh first and then decide if they want to use it. Sometimes they think they have a really large gain when they end up with a small gain. So that way they do not use it.
I feel as weight recorder part of my job is to help these ladies anyway I can and the weight passes have been a very positive thing. But must remind you again that it is not totally legal as far as TOPS rules go. But sometimes if it helps the majority I will bend the rules.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Today is my husbands birthday and I plan on surprizing him with a birthday cake. I have not baked a cake in years. But I decided we deserve to have a birthday cake. Will try to freeze most of it afterwards so I will stay out of it. Will put it in back freezer. I forget I put stuff back there. I saw some cookies in there last night. I left them there.
Gotta go. My lower back is killing me so I need to take a hot shower so I can function.
We all know how hard losing weight is.

Default Sat.

I think I might have a turtle going on this week. I haven't really been keeping track as I should, and the scale isn't moving. But I'm in the process of learning new recipes with low carbs. We are having dinner at my hubby folks today, and I'm taking something totally low carb, except you use nacho chips for the dipping, but I got some wheatable crackers. Still not sure if legal on the plan. 12 crackers are 19 carbs. 4 sugars
the chips are 20 carbs and no sugar. So it's almost that the chips are better?
Sherri, christian whata think. I won't be back on here today to find the results. I'm just going to have to figure out for myself on this one. We are having fish, (white) and shrimp. french fries, (gonna try not to have any of this) ya, right. We will see. Also don't know how the fish is cooked. Salad to top it. So it should be bad. I'm getting my hair and nails done before I go. So gotta go ladies. and I will see ya tomorrow. Chin up, new day, and lots of love
