Default Tuesday

Well doing well, I hope all of us are. lost 1.5 pounds this week. Plan on exercising today. I may be trying for either leader and or co-leader. We talked about it last night at the meeting. Not to many people want to run for office. But they still want a club. I've been trying to think of new ideas and such. I'm putting on the program this week. I would like to see more recogintion for pounds off. Like the ribbon thing ww does, and add to it per every 10 pounds.
Not much more going on here. Work has really slowed down. No layoffs yet, how ever they are giving pepple days off if they want with out pay, and doesn't count against them. finish later.

Default Good Mornning

Just wanted to say Good Morning to everyone.
Not much going on here yet. Hubby still in bed. Son off to school. So I thought I would check out the boards. Going to go back down to the senior center today. They are still working on their quilt. They have about half of it quilted. I haven't been brave enough yet to try. I did get a few squares pieced together to start a little wall hanging. But haven't finished pieceing it. I have been working on a couple of cross stictch projects. But haven't go either one of those done. Was hoping to finish those first. Then get serious about the quilting. But it is fun to watch the ladies. To night is our weigh in night. So I will post later tonight on how I did. We are having a little Valintine party tonight at TOPS. But at least this time. We decided not to have all the munchies that we usually have. They just decided to have a few pretzels and some punch. Usually everyone brings something and it is just too much. Well I better get off here. Want to do some cross stitch before hubby gets up. You girls have a good day.

Hey Wendy,

Congratulations girl. Another loss you are doing awesome. I knew you could get back on track. You are doing great.
I think you would make a great leader but are you sure with everything going on with your parents that you could handle it. I know you have a lot of stress with all that. And from what I have heard being leader can be stressful as well. Whatever you decide I think you would have a lot to offer your group. I think it is great that you want to bring in new ideas. Sometimes though the old members that have been there for awhile don't like change and you will but heads with them. I went through that. So I backed off all together. I don't even do programs anymore. Ever since I called the head people about my group the leader doesn't talk to me like she did. But now when she is not there the leader we had before puts on some kind of program. We have been exercising and the group likes that. We play music and get in a circle and go around and for a few min we do whatever the one person wants to do for an exercise then we switch and go to the next person. It gets you up and moving and is fun. It is better then not having a meeting and only weighing in. I could come up with a lot of great programs but I don't waste my time anymore. The article that I posted the other day could be a month long program. I was thinking of it. But I know they wouldn't let me do it anyway. So why bother putting it all together. They talk about giving up your trigger foods and focusing on goals and changing your plan as you lose the weight. It was real interesting. It was a challange that the girl is doing on the EDIETS site. I get their newsletter and there is some great info in them. I did print it out for me though. I can send you them if you want. Just let me know. If you do get leader you will need some ideas. We aren't even doing any contests right now either. I started the one before christmas and no one kept up with it. We haven't had one since and we never finished that one either. I went through the trouble of putting the prize all together and everything. I still have it. Maybe someday they will want to do it again and actually finish it this time.
The elections are coming up soon. So you go for it girl. It is always great to get new blood in there. That is what keeps the chapters going.

I am not going to exercise anymore this week. My legs are sore from yesterdays workout. I have worked out more this week time wise then I have in a long time. So I am going to call it quits for the week to give my body a rest and start again on friday. My scale is not moving anymore. So I will just eat low points and then go see how much I have lost this week. I am keeping track of what I am doing with water, exercise and food this week. That way I know if I am doing wrong at weigh in or not if I don't lose this week. But I know that I have been honest with my measuring and my pts so I know I should have some kind of loss this week. But in the article it says to keep track of everything you do so you can go over it at the end of the week so you know exactly what you did that either worked or didn't work. So that is what I did.

Have a great on plan day and for all those that get weighed in today good luck. You will have a loss for sure. We have all been doing great this week. We are all a bunch of losers this week.

Hi all, Just dropping by to say hello.
Today has been ok altho I did eat too much for supper. But I have been exercising everyday and scales seems to be down some. Will know for sure on Thursday. We are having a weigh in only as some people want to go out with their partners.
Well I don't have much news and it is almost my bedtime.
Keep up the good work. Elections are coming up and the more involved we are the more it will help us in the long run. I have got several people that are going to take some positions so it is looking good.

Hi All,

I am soooooooo happy today. I am wearing a size 16 pants that I haven't been able to wear in at least 8-9 months if not longer. I couldn't even get them zipped up. So I am losing inches and I love it. Must be I am doing the right thing and I am on the right track. The losing track.
I did great again today. I ended the day with 22 1/2 pts.. I also passed up cake and ice cream tonight. I did have a small taste on the end of the fork. My mom made it from scratch so it was low in fat and all. She used olive oil and applesauce instead of all oil. It was good but it didn't even tempt me to have more. All I could think about was my goal and that I wanted to reach it this time. So I visited with people and didn't eat a thing. I did buy the candy bar but I gave it to my grandmother for her birthday. I could have bought some to bring home but I didn't so that was good. I was tempted by that but I didn't get any for me.
The scale wasn't down this morning but TOM came today so maybe it will be down tomorrow.

Great job on the exercise. Don't worry about the one bad thing. You have done great all week and your scale is down. One bad night is not going to ruin what you did all week. You have worked hard. Great going and keep up the great work.

Hi Girls
Sorry I am late posting tonight. But had our Valentines Party. So the meeting ran over. We got a new girls tonight. She is a transfer from another chapter. So I think that makes about 19 in our group.

Well I am a loser this week. I lost 3 1/2 lbs. I'm not sure how I did that. I know I had been pretty careful in what I was eating. But I didn't really excersie. But there was a couple of days I picked alot. But I am happy with the lose. I just hope I dont have a gain next week. I may try and get some excersie in this week. I guess you can say that that is my goal for the week. I have been setting little goals. And so far am keeping to them. Such as writing down what I eat, drink my water, measuring and weighing, and the hard one. Not eating after 6:00pm except on Tues. I don't eat supper before I weigh in. So after weigh in we eat supper.

I want to thank all you girls for the advice and support you give on these boards. Because I really don't think I could do it without it. Hope everyone else is losers this week. Have a good night.

hidey ho!!

Just a quick hello to all you beautiful ladies! I love my new job! I can't do it, but I love it!
I lost 1.75 lb tonight so that is 30 weeks straight, 10 more to go for the Fab 40. I think I can do it.

Don't forget me 'cause I miss you all! I have Friday off so I will try to catch up on the posts and really say HI!

Hello all. I'm new to this and hoping everything goes okay. I have been reading the threads for about 2 weeks.
I was excited to find a TOPS forum as I have been a member 3 different times during the years.
I am about 3 pounds from being a reinstated KOPS but it is a real struggle to get those last few off. I'm hoping that setting goals and being accountable here will help.
