Angry GOAL THREAD - Week of 1/28

CALLING ALL TOPS MEMBERS.... who would like to improve one thing this week......be it your eating, exercise, mind set, etc!!!!!

Make it only 1 or 2 goals so we can stick with it. We know that if we try too much, we set ourselves up for failure with all. Make them realistic....but something that will help you towards your goal and better health.

I will be reporting in daily to be accountable to myself, so I will update here.

My goal this week is to ride my bike at least 30 minutes and drink 8 full glasses of water a day.

TOPS Hugs,
Summer

summer,

I was thinking of starting this thread also. Great minds think alike.LOL

I am with you.

This week I am going to stick with the SB and the WW plan and not cheat for the rest of the week.

Also to exercise at least 3 days this week. I have done 2 days so far so I am almost there on that one.

Sherri

I have done great so far for my goals. I am right on track. I have completed my 3 days of exercise. 30 mins each day of low impact aerobics. Also I have stuck with both plans and I have not cheated once.

Sherri

I just have a minute, but wanted to post my goal for this week.

My goal for the week is to drink 8 glasses of water each day. I have a problem getting it all in, usually get only about 5.

Back later, Mickey

1/31/02---I met my goal for drinking 8 glasses of water for the past three days. In addition to drinking water I will set a goal to write down every thing I eat. I have not been doing that and I think it helps me... hope you all met your goals and continue to do well.

Thought I'd bring this back to the top instead of just editing. Did do my 30 min today for 6.25 mi....and the water is going well. The eating has been better, but that will probably be a goal next week.

CC - you are doing well daily also. YEAH!!!!!

Hope everyone else is doing what they wanted to do this week. WE CAN/WILL DO THIS!!!!! {{{{{{{{VIBES}}}}}}}

I dream of the day when I can say "I'll probably be at goal next week". Congratulations, I hope you make it .....

Must go do the treadmill now....

Am very much "on track"...and that's a happy feeling, not like a wk. prior to Xmas, crashing through one day after the other, wanting to be on program - but NOT quite getting there...

Funny you should have this. i hadn't check the board yet this week. but started the week with a goal of "feeling better about myself'. i'm trying to hold myself better and dress better, keep a better posture etc. it seems if i'm feeling good about myself i make better choices.

Faith, are you at all flexible? I got a beginner Pilates video for Christmas and I can not believe the difference it has made in how I carry myself. I love the workout too, all stretches and no sweating but am I seeing BIG changes in my shape. On me it is working faster and more efficiently than any weight program I have tried.

Been very busy, so can only post on this thread. Sorry.

Thursday - rode 8 miles [40 min]
Friday - rode 10 miles [50 min]

Now I just need to really work on the eating. Too much and not real healthy. I've also been lacking on the water like I said. Unfortunately don't think of it till evening when things slow down. I get about 4 cups in...but I get up enough as is during the night. Gonna put up a sticky note above the sink right now!! Hope everyone is doing well, you know you are in my thoughts. :-)
