Default Valentine Day Challenge

Ok It's time to start a new challenge. I did badly on last one so I will try harder this time.
It will start today December30 and end on February 14. That is about 7 1/2 weeks.
I am going to try to lose a minumum of 8 pounds which will be about 1# a week. If I can do that for 52 weeks that will be 52#.

Jan 3 = -3 A good start
Jan 10 = -2.5# A very good start
Jan 17 = missed meeting due to grand-daughter being ill
Jan 24 = Turtle Better than a gain but a loss would have
been much better
Jan 31 = -.50#
Feb 7 = -1.75# 1/4# to go
Feb 14 = -.75 For a total of 8.50#
This is first challenge I have made

I'm in!!! I'm going to take 8 pounds OFF FOREVER!

My weigh in is on Thursdays.

Jan 3 -1 1/4#
Jan 10 +1/4 Wrong way!
Jan 17 -1
Jan24- did not go to weigh in/terrible headache, my scales say -1
Jan 31
Feb 7
Feb 14 Well, I didn't meet my goal, but I am 6# lighter, so that is okay! So I'll go for the Easter Challenge. Eventually, I will make it!!!

WOO-HOO!!! I'm in this one. Since I don't have a lot to lose, I will shoot for 5#'s as of right now, but this may change if I lose my KOPS status this week. Need all the help and motivation I can get.

Jan 2 - DOWN 3.........YEAH!!!!!
Jan 9 - didn't go to meeting
Jan 16 - will be out of town
Jan 23 - I doubt I will be back at meeting weigh ins while this is going on. I need a break from some things in my life right now, and my TOPS activity is something I can control so I'm starting here. Really going to have to stay on my toes, but cutting out this one stressor just might help.

I will join too. I won't be at my meeting this week so will start next week.

January 9 +7 pounds (since December 12)
January 16 lost 1 this week but now I am 6 above my Dec
weight
January 23 lost 2.25 pounds and now 3.75 pounds above Dec weight...still 13.75 to lose to reach my challenge amount...don't think I will do it.
January 30 lost 2.25 pounds and now 1.5 pounds above Dec weight....I won't reach my challenge amount because I still have 11.50 pounds to go...at least it is in the right direction now.
February 6 down .25 still 11.25 to go which isn't attainable. My new goal is to lose the last of the weight I put on over Christmas.
February 13 Down 1 pound this week.....didn't make my goal.

I am going to aim for 10 pounds from my last weigh in during December.

Talking I want in toooooo

Ok the holidays are over and I am now on my day shifts I needed with my weekends free ( Thank the Lord) So now it is time for me again....... I need to lose 5 pounds by Valentines day!!! I went and bought good foods and such today and am going to go through the rest of the house tonight and dispose of all the junk, I am doing this for Marissa also, as the holidays have been very rough for her, So as I said before..... COUNT me in


Starting weight- 153 pounds

Jan 3 - Megans sick so no meeting for me, Have got to lose 8 pounds now But I am trying ...AND NOT LETTING THIS GET THE BEST OF ME!

Jan 10- down 2.5 lbs

Jan 17th- no meeting (snow) plus had rissa at Dr. for sinus troulble today so didnt feel like going anyway LOL, ( by the way she is fine)

Jan 24th- - 1 pound 149 1/2 almost there now

Jan 31- = no weigh in ( flooded in ) had to go to dads even LOL

Jan 7th- gained 1 and 3/4 pound 151 1/4n ( wil do better next week)

Jan 14th- didnt get to weigh in, but scale showed 151 Thursday morning.
So my net loss for the challenge is only 2 pounds, But better than a gain right??

Hi Eleni,

Count me in for this one. I really blew the last challange and didn't get anywhere. I am going to lose 10 lbs by valentines day. But if I don't make that I will be happy with anything over 5 lbs.

I am going to go back to my meetings this week. I have not been in 5 weeks. So here it goes. I am on my way to goal.

January 3 - My starting weight tonight is 183 1/2

Jan. 10th - 184 lbs (gained 1/2 lb) Not happy but trying

Jan 17th - 179 lbs (lost 5 lbs this week) I am 1/2 way to goal.

Jan 23rd - 179 lbs (I had a turtle tonight, I will lose next week)

Jan 31st - No meeting because of snow & ice storm.

February 7th - Gained 2 lbs I am not happy with this at all I am going back to the ww points and not going to concentrate on the SB plan. I am still going to do the SB but I am going to concentrate on the points this week and exercise.

Feb. 14th - 1 3/4 lb loss = 179 3/4 lbs

That gives me a total of 3 3/4 lb loss for the challange. At least I lost this time. Best of all I completed more of the challange then I ever expected to. I am down 1 whole pant size. I never imagined that would happen in 4 weeks. So that is even better then the weight on the scale. I would have liked to complete the 10 lbs but being 1 size smaller I will be happy with that. And I am closer to goal by losing what I did. At least I didn't gain like I have done on the last 2 challanges.

I am ready for the next challange.

Jan 8 -2.5 179.5
Jan 15 -1.5 178.0
Jan 22 -6.5 171.5
Jan 29 -1.25 170.25
Feb 5 -1.75 168.5
Feb 12 -1.75 166.75

Ok ladies!!! I am in. I have to get back on track and this is the start. I want ok NEED to at least be back into the 170s so my goal is 5 pounds but you can also dream for more......lol

Count me in too! My chapter also meets on Mondays. We had no meeting last week because it was New Year's Eve.

The meetings for my chapter for January are January 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th.

I'm in too!!

I will lose 6 pounds by Valentines day.

We haven't had any meetings or weigh ins since Dec 18th so not sure if I have gained or not.

We have our meetings on Wednesdays, so my dates will be:

Jan 9 = Gain of 3 pounds. That makes 9 I have to lose.
Jan 16
Jan 23
Jan 30
Feb 6
Feb 13

Will post my results on Thursday.

My last weigh was 148.5
