Hello ladies!

MY MOM IS HERE!

I miss you guys, but I am so busy! it is 11:30 PM here, so I will keep this short.

Answers to questions

1. My mom did not recognize me, she looked right through me! I wore a new sweater and new pair of jeans to meet her and she walked right past me, hugged my husband and daughter and asked where I was. She waited until we were out of the airport to really re-act though.
My best friend (who still lives in Alberta), phoned about 20 minutes after we arrived home to find out what she thought. She was dying of curiosity. They spent about an hour on the phone, both of them were crying at the end. What a pair of sweeties!

2. Mom loves my kitchen. I did not finish my new curtains or stencil my new chairs yet, but she got the idea. And I found the perfect arborite to replace my worn out countertops with. Hope Santa brings me a router blade for Christmas!

3. BDay April 3

More stuff I have to tell you about:

So far we have baked and wrapped, shopped and cooked, gone to a family dance, played checkers and cards, and gone to the movies and TOPS. Tomorrow we finish wrapping, go to this fancy smantzy teahouse and then we are all going skating. My Mom is a marvel at 73, I have a hard time keeping up with her!

One final thing, I had my last weigh in for the year and finished with 24 straight losses. This time it was only 1/2 a pound but the dietician upped my food intake and I am going to stick to her recommendations. I may not lose every week but I will insure I stay healthy.

Well I may not be able to check in every day until after my Mom is gone but you are all in my heart, {{{{{{vibes}}}}}} to each and every one of you!

Hey, also nice to know a fellow Aries. My BD is 4/10! Gee, another one is coming around soon for us, 'aye'? [Right now I'm visualizing all my canadian relatives saying that! I love it....and miss it]

I am SO PROUD OF YOU for those 24 weeks of being a loser. What a WONDERFUL accomplishment!!!! Do you think you will be a division winner???????

Also wanted you to know that I used the program that you posted last week that you did about the 5 ways to control holiday eating. I supplimented it with some info that I had gotten from the newspaper, so I was able to expound on a few of the points. The chapter applauded when I was done, and they NEVER do that. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL PROGRAM!!!

Sounds like you are going to have a blast with your mom. Gotta tell you that my brother used to call me 'Olive Oyl' [Popeyes girlfriend] when I was on skates because I was always over on my ankles. I'm sure you have much more finesse [sp?] than me. Enjoy your time together and don't worry about being here daily. You know you are thought of by all of us and feel those {{{{{{{{{{{VIBES}}}}}}}}}}}} in the morning when you hop out of bed to enjoy another day.

24 weeks of losing is just mind boggling. You have really worked hard to achieve that Hope you get your rollar blades.That is something I may try when I lose my weight.

Hey girl I am so proud of you. I think summer said it all. I couldn't imagine anyone walking past me because I lost so much weight. I am sure that one day I will know what that feels like to. You deserve so much praise for all the hard work you have done. WOW 24 weeks with a loss is so outstanding girl. You are going to be at goal in no time with all the losses adding up.
I am so glad you are having a great time with your mom. Sounds like you have really been busy. That is great. Enjoy all your time together and have a great holiday and a happy new year. You will have to set some new year goals seeing that you have met most of your goals already. That will be exciting for you.
