Default Wednesday

Once again the week is going by fast. The work week is almost over. Today should be interesting at work. There is no dress code that I can see and I am expecting a lot of them to come in costume for halloween.
I don't think I am really losing anything. If I am it isn't much. But I am not going up so that is a plus.
All the grandkids that live close by will be coming to show us their costumes. I really enjoy the children in costume. It is fun to see them

Eleni,

Think positive woman! A loss is a loss no matter how big or small. The important thing is that you are losing you think and that is great. You need to give yourself more credit then you do. If we think good things about ourselves it sure does help our self esteem.
Yes megan is all ready for trick or treating today to. I love to see all the costumes also. They are all so cute in them. My nephew and neice came over last night in their costumes I bought for them they looked great.
I have to take megan to a story hour at a library today where they are having a halloween party. We were invited by one of the moms from megans school. The little boy that likes megan and we have been doing things together so it is nice to get the kids together seeing that they go to school together. Then we have to go this afternoon to trick or treat at john's mom's and his brother's and my grandmother at the nursing home. Then it is home to eat dinner and go trick or treating for the night. So I have a busy day ahead of me but it will be fun.

I did walk again today my 1.7 miles. But my scale was up this morning but I am not going to worry about it and do bad today. I have to keep going and I know the weight will come off. I did tell my husband that I was going to weigh in tomorrow before we went to dinner so I feel good about that decision. I just hope I have a loss. I should because I have been doing everything right. If not I guess it could be from the walking. I won't give up I promise I have to make it and I will.

How is everyone else doing? Remember don't eat too much candy tonight or this week. Just because it is there doesn't mean we have to eat it.

Smile Good morning ladies

Well so far so good today Went on my walk today got in 1 1/2 mile this morning , also I joined the gym this month so I can swim laps in their big pool, and that way I am walking and swimming at least 4 times a week, I am gonna ask my dad to pay for me to go next month for my birthday present that way I can still go through Christmas, that is a hard time for me....all the divinity and baked goods that you only get at that time.
I will do good though, I am just gonna have tiny samples and not platefulls LOL....

Eleni- I will try to send you a picture of the girls with teir costumes ...they are gonna be butterflies and ladybugs

Sherri- Great job on your walking girl, I just know you are on your way to goal now... We can do it girl!! Oh I sent the check for the info you got me today so you should get it by Saturday...

Well guys I hate to run off but I have LOTS of laundry to do and well you can guess how much there is LOL, Big Tops Hugs!!!!

BOO!!!!

Well, it's pretty scarey to know that I MUST lose at least 1/2# next week. I'm still that much out of leeway and I must get back in by then or I lose my KOPS status. As I've mentioned before, the more I need to think about losing, the more I tend to gain. Stress, stress, stress!!!!!! Glad we did our weigh in last night.

I'm really trying to not let my day get away from me. If I make more protein choices at the start of my day, I do better. If I start with any type of bread or cereal, I'm usually a goner for the rest of the day.

I was listening to the 'Iyanla' program today and they were talking about 'negaholics'.....people that can't take compliments, say they have no will power to lose weight, etc. I could relate and I think a few of us here can also. They were saying we need to get the negativity out of our lives. It is true that when we look at 'the glass half full rather than half empty', we do feel better. Most of my chapter members are fairly negative people and always complain about one thing or another....and they are real petty things too. It's real hard in the weight room to constantly hear the negative. I try to say that next week will be better if we put smiles on our faces and give it the good 'old college try' in being healthier. I mostly get these real blank looks, but at least I know I tried to put a positive spin on it for another person. Sometimes I think I try to much for others and tend to forget about me. I know others here can relate to that feeling also!!!!

Sherri and Christie, great going on the walking and your food charts look good to me. Don't worry about any small slip ups. We are all going to have them and to think you're not would be denial. Good luck at your meetings tomorrow.

Eleni, What I'm hoping for you this week is to at least not have a gain. That, or a loss no matter how small, is success. Know that we all can do this not matter how big or small those steps are.

Have a great Wednesday!! Grab the old water glass and better choice foods before reaching for the unwise ones.

Hi everyone!

It has been quite some time since I have been here. I decided to put down the halloween candy and type on the computer instead! It is time to get serious about losing weight again, and what better place to to come-but here! I will be here often now.

Default TIME FLIES

Boy is that right...The week flew by before I had a chance to get back on it and I gained 1/4 ounce...Boo.....

This week I want to go at it with a vengence....So thought Id check in and see how everyone is doing.
