  • Hun.e.B- Is it possible we have married the same slob, er, I mean man? I always pick up clothes of the floor!!!! I find his socks in the oddest places.... one under the computer desk, and the other one will shed itself in front of the fridge, or some such thing.

One thing that annoys me to NO END... he will wear house shoes (aka slippers) OUTSIDE. What's the point of house shoes? Might as well wear your friggin' tennis shoes all over the house....

Mine loves to put a beer bottle up high on the medicine cabinet where I can barely reach it. It's a bit of a tradition for him. The other ones end up on the sink area.

I don't wanna think about a bathroom windchime either... I would hate to think how a man might find it funny to create a "breeze" to make the chimes move.... lol... bring on the air wick scented oils.... lol....

Amany- Hi Amany! I'm so proud of you! Way to dismiss the cake. That would be sooo hard for me too! I did the same last night. Hubby offered me to take a "mental health" break from the diet, but I did not accept. He also to us to brunch this morning, but I only had a black coffee and chit chatted. He was so proud of me. Felt good afterwards, but dang if I didn't wanna grab me some syrup laden pancake.... it was a testament to my will to lose this weight. I know I'm in it for real, and it feels good. You should feel good about your victory as well.

Shoot! I forgot about the apple orchard!!! We have one too, fresh apple donuts, funnel cakes, and any other pastry or fried apple, or chocolate dipped apple item you can imagine... Be strong Amany. We can still take our loved ones, we are different now. We have to remind ourselves we are different...

Honey, if you want a snickers, get a snickers... but,but these treats are special. As long as we relish it for its moment and not let it send us into a compulsive binge, it's okay. We have to learn to handle those oppertunities properly at some point. It could be a good thing for you to have a little treat while showing your abilty to portion control.
  • Wut's Rachel's Holiday about?
  • Also, what are some good sports bras for when you workout that will hold the girls in place??
  • Needhelp I bought some sports bras by Curvations. The keep the girls in line pretty well.

    Here's an exerpt from Rachel's Holiday. http://mariankeyes.com/books/rachels...ent/index.html

Here's the some info from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Rachel-s-Holid...e=UTF8&s=books
  • I think that we should do that book, it looks good
  • Oh curvation has great bras for a decent price! I like those! I've got the book on my list I'll have to check the library and see when I can get it in!

    ~melissa
  • If you have any problems finding Rachel's Holiday, Half.com has it for 75 cents or you can buy used from Amazon for under 2 dollars.

I just finished Leslie Sansone's Fat Burning Four Mile Walk. Intense!!

The aerobic part was great. It was just indoor walking and jogging. Very simple and effective. Oh, but the toning!! Good gracious! I had to stop a few times. I had sweat dripping everywhere. The backs of my legs are still tingling. The workout was just what I needed to feel better. Remember that frenzy I wrote about before. It seems to have calmed. I still have a craving, which I may or may not give in to. But I'm no longer in binge mode. Go figure. A good workout took away my desire to binge. Amazing.

I got the Curvation bras off ebay. I bought four of them for about $25. That included shipping.

There has been many a night that my beloved's breezes have awakened me from my sleep!!!! He was not very "be loved" during those moments.

  • Good Afternoon all. I finished my tree and I'm all set to start my Fall challenge next week. Here is a picture of my tree before. I think that next Friday after weigh in I'll take a before picture standing next to my tree too. And then another on the first day of winter, hopefully all my leaves will be gone from my tree! I put 30 leaves on the tree, I'm hoping to lose 26 of them! 1 leaf = 1 lb lost!

  • Hello ladies.. I have great news.. I am finally less than my drivers license It is silly but when I was way over 285 (maybe I was 350 at the time) I still told them that I was only 285. I just happen to notice that I was under it today when I was paying for something I can't wait until the day I am able to put my goal weight on it..

How is everyone else doing? I wish everyone a great day and wonderful weekend!
  • Melissa - What a great way to stay motivated. I like the fall leaf idea. Can't wait to see you on the first day of winter!!

Aqua - You're a strong, strong woman. I would have had a really hard time drinking just coffee. You're doing such a great job. I don't think I remember you having any slip ups since before the liquid diet. You're such an inspiration.

Kenya - Congrats on the weight loss chick. Good seeing you.

Mia - I know what you mean. My husband is a shell of his former self. There was a time that I thought he'd put me out for buying all the videos. Now he knows he's been defeated.

Are you guys familiar with the guy that has the pet show that comes on Saturday mornings? He wears glasses and has all these pets around that shouldn't be getting along, but they do. To this day I think he gives those animals anti-depressants. Well, this morning he had some parrotlets on. I want some!

My husband, on the other hand, wants bats. Yes I said bats. He's already researched it and everything. We bought a television from a nearby person on Ebay. When he picked it up he saw the guy's pet bats and has wanted them ever since. We need to have a kid soon. I think we're both just looking for something to nuture. Have I ever mentioned that I have 50 plants?

I know our landlord thinks we're nuts. My husband asked her if it would be ok for us to have pet bats. A little while ago I asked her about running up and down the stairs. She said it was ok, but I know she's like, "wth...."
  • Good Evening Ladies, Boy has today went well for me. I have been cleaning house all day here trying to get ready for a get togeather for my sons 17 th Bday tomorrow. Boy Cant believe that he is turning 17. To start off I no longer have the Step son here he has left and went to live with his mother for a while. THANK GOD. We were sitting here waiting here for him to go pick up his last check when his recruter called and told him it would be Dec before he could leave so I talked him into going to his moms and live their till he leaves. My house is so peacefull and all the kids Love that he is gone.
I dont know How I will do tomorrow But I plan on being 100% on monday and getting back into the game. BL starts on the 20 too I cant wait. That will be fun looks like they are going to be doing different too 50 People .

I better be going still ahve some more cleaning to doo. I am soo Excited and cannot wait till monday...
  • Howdy Chicks!

Getting a very late start on here today. I have been a very lazy girl today and have just started getting my butt in gear and cleaning house. It was nice to laze around a bit, but I can't seem to get past that guilt factor when I do it. So all in all, I don't know if I enjoyed it all that much! lol

Aqua, I think our husbands need to have a man convention of their own! They all sound very similar in their habits so maybe getting them together will be good. Mine leaves magazines everywhere in the bathroom and darnit if he can find the closet to put his shoes away. I can't tell you how many times I've tripped over those clodhoppers! Mine doesn't do beer bottles in the bathroom but for some reason lines them up on my kitchen counter. WHY?

Amanda, I'm glad you liked your new workout! I can't wait to get my fitness level up to yours! You gave me a really good idea....maybe I will run up and down the stairs here at 3am just to say howdy to the neighbors up there!? Whatcha think? I could get some exercise and "be that neighbor"! They had company last night again so I'm a bit irked still this evening, can ya tell? I really commend you for having a grip on your cravings! I do not know if I could have been as strong, especially since you've not been feeling well lately. Good for you!!!

Melissa, love the tree! I'm gonna make one tonight I think. Might be good to see something visual to keep me going. All the while I'm thinking this, the other part of my brain is trying to figure out where to "hide" it so I don't have to explain it to anyone. How sad is that? Am I completely freaked out to have my family hold me accountable or what? ugh!

Mia, your powdered doughnut excursion is exactly why I HATE going to the grocery store alone. When I have dh with me there is no room for excuses, I wouldn't dare buy "bad" stuff while he's there. This is one part of my weekly routine that I am desperately trying to work on, I'm afraid it's been years though.

Bonnie & Kenya, it's great to see you ladies!

So I just finished scrubbing my bathrooms without hacking up my lungs so I guess this is progress! woo hoo! Actually it feels good to be productive, so on that note, I'm gonna go see what else I can find to do. Be good ya'll! ♥
