Thank you for the welcome

I am having a horrible time with my water intake...we should drink 8 -8oz a day right?:(

ssgtswife33 03-27-2007 05:18 PM

They say your water intake should be atleast 64oz but I shoot for 100oz. That amount works for me. I start slacking off by late afternoon otherwise I'll be up all night. *LOL*

Hi girls how is everyone doing?

Well it's official my hubby is officially retiring Oct 1st. Yikes a bit scary he needs to get a job. Lots of time to find one. He's putting out feelers.

Happy easter :bunny2:

ssgtswife33 04-11-2007 09:52 AM

Hi!!! Just though I'd drop in to see how everyone is doing...

Everyone keep up the good work!!!!

mkat321 04-14-2007 10:38 AM

doing alright. af just left and gave me an extra pound to loose.

in other news, I hate women who try to wear their husband's rank. especially when the unit backs them up on it

ssgtswife33 04-18-2007 09:16 AM

Good Morning Everyone!!

Just got back from a 2hr workout @ the gym and I am full of energy. :cb: For the past week I have been hitting the gym at 3:30-4:00am and working out for atleast 2hrs or more. It's hard to get up that early but once I'm up, I'm ready to go.

mkat21~ I 100% agree with you on that. I too hate when the women try to wear their husbands rank. Not to mention, I have even seen some of the schools on post where some of the kids even do that. It is really sad in my opinion.

Everyone have a wonderful Wednesday!!!

Hi ladies! So I started finally on running..I am doing Couch to 5k program and I just finished week 3 of 9. :-) My NSV is that I also fit in a size 12 now which I haven't for about 8 years so that is pretty awesome too!!!
DH didn't get the special duty but we got the list of possible bases we could go to, updated our preferences and now we are just waiting to hear where we are going...Hopefully we will hear the beginning of May..though we won't be able to do anything until we get orders which won't I'm sure be until June or July.. This is our first real PCS..I mean we PCS'd over here but that was nearly 3 years ago and it was right after we got married and didn't have much etc...

clydegirl-Wow..that must be scary your hubby retiring..

mkat-amen! I hate when people try to wear their hubby's rank too...The military member is the one that earned the rank not the spouse..

ssgtswife-WTG on the exercise at the gym!

Clydegirl 04-24-2007 09:08 AM

Gremlina I thought you would have had an assignment by now. Fingers crossed.

Retirement yes it is a bit scary. The military is like a big security blanket and leaving that is what worries me.

I hope all you spouses out there are doing great and staying strong!! It's been awefully quiet around here... :)

dscrosbywife 05-23-2007 01:32 AM

Is there room for one more?

I'm a proud Army wife of almost 11 years. My DH has been in 13 years and is currently a Drill SGT. stationed at Ft.Jackson, SC.

I really need/want to lose about 85 lbs. I mainly want to lose it to be healthy again but also because I don't want to PCS to another post being embarrassed about my weight again.

ssgtswife33 06-01-2007 12:31 AM

Hello Everyone!!

Hi dscrosbywife!! I too am a proud Army wife... of almost 12yrs so we're pretty close in years :) My DH is currently a recruiter. We've got another 1 1/2 yrs and then it's back to a regular unit. How long has your DH been a Drill Sgt?

I have been eating so crazy lately and I've got my mind set and goals set for a new start starting tomorrow. June 1st. Start fresh and wipe the slate clean. I was doing so good until my little one got real bad sick and that thru me going to the gym way off. Then, I got real bad sick so that even delayed it more. :(

Ladies stay strong!!!!
