Good evening all JL's. Had a busy day and got nothing accomplished. Sis in law/bro in law came to see the house and we went for lunch. I was not OP and now I am feeling low.
Met the cabinet maker at the house and got to see the lay-out and ordered everything.
I got a hair cut. With all the running we didn't get anything finished that we planned, so tomorrow will be a busy day.
I walked at 8:30 again tonight. Still hot and very humid.

Tomorrow begins another month. Where does the time go? They say it flies, but where does it fly to?

Marti,,,can you buy a fixer upper? Live in it for a few years then sell? Houses will only go up...great investments and when you sell you will make money,,,enough to buy a home you like even more.

Robin,,,geesh you sound like you were hitting the ground running! I used to volunteer for all the parent /school things and would come home and crash. I know one day I will miss all that...pray my boys will stay nearby when they marry and have kids so I can go and volunteer again.

Jane,,,dinner party? How many people? Whats on the menu? Ya know I know some people who enjoy working and doing things more then relaxing....

Kathy,,,you can say that again about the housing market here. They were saying that each home was increasing in value $500. per day. Our house went up 160,000. in a year and half.(mostly in the last 4 months)

well Tanner's band is done now...ya no more Tuesday 6 am wakeups.
I did alot of errands today. Grocery shopped, after work,,,made dinner then off to pick up my books from the library that I had placed on hold back in Oct. of all the time to come in,,,when I don't have time to read it. But I so want to read them... one is called Wicked, the Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. A branch off of Wizard of Oz,,,
Went and used my GC and bought the cutest flowery pink skirt with a ruffle, and a white cotton top, I look super tanned. I think they will look great together. Then I also bought a brown blazer. thats it...
need to make my resume and off to bed I go...a bit of sleep in tomorrow...yay!

Good morning ladies...

I have been up since 4 am and am so sleepy but for some reason can't go back tot sleep. V is working overtime and has to be at work at 5:00 so off I take him at 4:30. Since Wal-Mart is open 24 hours thought after I dropped him off I would go buy groceries and did. Nothing like having the whole store to myself for shopping, lol! Although, it was a little noisy...all the people stocking the shelves and cleaning the floors were there. But I was in and out of there in no time at all. Now I have the rest of the day to do nothing, lol.

KATHY...thanks for thinking of me. So far I am doing fine but I know tomorrow when we take him to the airport it will hit me hard. I hate good-byes and it's been so nice having Josh home. These two weeks went by way too fast like I knew they would. All this talk of swimming makes me want to go to the pool.

JANE...what fun...shopping for and having a dinner party. What's on the menu? I'm sure whatever it is it will be good!

SUE...sorry you are feeling low It's okay to not be OP 100% of the time. Everyone does it once in a while and I know you will get back on track. What did your sis/bro in law think of the house so far? How exciting to be ordering the cabinets. WTG on getting your walk in! It's been humid here also. I agree with you about the time flying by...goes by too fast for me.

MICHELLE...I promise you I WILL get a photo up in the next day or two. Who knows, maybe even today sometime, just have to find one.

Hi all - I have a quick note too as I came in late from the Dentist. I have a cavity! I can't win on my teeth I swear - for 2+ years all is great & then whammy crowns & cavities back to back UGH

good news is I lost a pound LOL

Oh I know it! I will go to as many functions as I can (with work) and while they still want me around

House prices??? the bad areas are 55K - 100K depending on where the street is. The rest are 200K - 1M (yes a million or over depending on the city) - scary eh?
