I am back for a few minutes after watching the Apprentice. That is one show DH and I started watching from the first episode and although we get so aggravated at times with it we just keep watching. DH doesn't like much on the tube, so it is fun to have a couple shows we both watch. This year we have even watched Idol together. They cancelled our favorite "Ed" and DH's all time favorite "Alf" ...lol. SO if it is not Fox News or Poker DH doesn't watch alot.
Today was a good day OP wise. I ate healthy and got in a walk and extra exercise. I feel good, except..I broke a piece off a tooth. :( And can't get in to my dentist for awhile. So hopefully it doesn't start aching. If it does I will go to the emergency dental clinic. I won't try to suffer through a tooth ache. Ugh! Jane- Yes, great minds do think alike. I hope your roast turns out yummy. Ours was very good. I actually did the whole meal in an electric skillet so didn't have to use the oven. Just didn't want to crock pot it. Sorry to hear about Neal's eye. Hope it is better soon. I hope the house demo goes well and not too many tears are shed. I know it will be hard. Michelle- Another great mind...hope your roast was yummy too. I actually had a roast beef sandwich for dinner today with a salad. It was almost better than the first meal of it. I do hope you cheer up soon...:hug: Robin- Have a great time on the trip! We will be waiting here for your report when you get back. Angie- Welcome back. Sounds like you have worked wayyyy too hard lately. I had thought about DD being bored after her surgery...she usually never sits still. I was with her when she had her C section and she was doing too much too soon. Hopefully I can keep her down after this surgery. When I had my hysterectomy DH and my then 10 year old son took good care of me for 2 weeks...then it was like.."okay, we are done." I am already buying little goodies for my DGS and new DGD...so I might buy some scrapbooking things for DD and make her start that hobby while I am there. Maybe a bridal album or a combining families album. Cristina- Well, we have a cell phone, but it is a pay as you go that we use only when we are traveling. For emergencies. I just don't give the number out since we never have it turned on. Ohhhh, chicken enchiladas sound so good. Yum. Alex..awww, I loved hearing about your romantic episode. Your sweetie sounds like a REAL sweetie. I am glad to have you here and we will try to help you by listening and throwing in our 2 cents when it is called for. :D I am looking forward to reading your blog. Good luck on your journey....we are all on the same path. Marti- Don't work too hard gal. Hope you get to the gym for a weigh in. We went to make a final selection on the cabinets and I am "pumped up" as I think they are beautiful. (or will be) I even decided on some of the paint and appliances. Just have to go get the model numbers of the appliances we decided on. I also price stickered a ton of stuff for our sale, so that much is done. Tomorrow we tackle the attic! :p Bye for now...I am off to the shower and to bed. |
Sue, you got 2 weeks of care? I think I need to talk to the guys in this family...I barely got 2 days....lol Heck even one of the guys from work came over on his lunch hour to fix my computer and hang out. I made him and I noodles for lunch...he freaked. And ended up finishing it while I sat at the kitchen table while he cooked and cleaned my kitchen. That is a true friend...not normally a guy friend though. Scrap booking would be a great thing to do. I swer one day I hope to have time to do that. I bought two collages for our wall,,,have one almost ready and the other I can't even open the box,,,yet. I bought it 6 months ago.
Jane,,,awww poor Neil and Katie. And you. I know I would cry about the house,,,but I know I would cry if loved ones are upset and crying. Big hugs to you all... Jules,,,seriously if I could of called the mounties I would of. My arms and back ache from lifting,,,and knees and hips from kneeling on the floor for 2 days. A girl my size doesn't do well on her knees. Other then needing to clean the mirror and window, Brandon's room is completely done. The piglet, I mean Brandon's room upstairs will take awhile to get straight... I was seeing red with the things i found in his room once we moved the bed out of there. I probably have two loads of laundry of dirty clothes hidden under that bed. And we can't talk about the dishes and food...*gag Well I should go and do the last lil things...Monte is giving me a rest for a few days,,,hes hurting too and needs to rest. I wouldn't of been surprized to see him with a whip the way he worked me the last week. What a meany...lol (ok it was my list he was going off of, but I had thought the list would be completed with everyone,,,not just us two) nightall |

Well I'm still feeling pretty cruddy. Not sure what it is. I wanted to go home early from work but just put the feeling aside and worked through. I need to save my hours for vacation and time off this summer for Jhanai. Robin--Hurray on the lost pound...bummer on the bracelet getting lost! I hope that someone finds it and returns it for you. Michelle--Since I was having an "icky" day...I decided to not exercise. Maybe I should have went ahead and done it anyway....may have made me feel better. Tomorrow is a new day! Jane--Awww....:hug: seeing the family home go would be hard. Many hugs!! I'm going to try out that potato soup this weekend. Sounds yummy!! Angie--Hello!! I was missing you! What type of job are you looking for?? I loved powerpoint when I was taking refresher coarses. But have me trying to do anything w/it now and I wouldn't have a clue...(maybe some what) it was a fun class though. Sue--Ouch on the tooth! I know exactly how you feel!! I've had two teeth do that to me...I must have brittle teeth I don't know, but it doesn't feel good. If it starts aching really bad...I would call in for an emergency fix. That's what I had to do. Cristi--Loving my new hours. I have more energy now...yet today is a different story. Jhanai only works every other saturday until summer....not sure how often she'll work then. Kathy--Hello! Post more when you have more time. Ok...I need to go lay down. Not feeling up to par. Maybe it's a lack of sleep and a little stress. Life does that to a gal. Dang thing is magnetic & it was stuck to the door of my truck LOL (I felt so stupid but relieved I found it) I know that is silly on the fudge but the best thing I can tell myself to keep my pattys out of it! :D I hope Neal's eye gets better soon! I was eating a hamburger a month ago & half my tooth fell out from the root! OUCHY! They thought I needed a root canal (no thanks seeing how the last 2 I had I felt the whole thing!) -- but all is good and just a crown (my 11th one - I am named the crown queen here) -- ever since my 2 DD were born, my teeth went down hill. All will be ok, when they are at the house, would it be easier to just take the day & go somewhere else? Marti... Since they keep messing with my schedule, I have to go to work super early today. Starting to feel more human again, thanks to tons of water and the miracle of antibiotics! Hope everyone has a great day, and hope to come back tonight to do individuals. Gotta fly now :angel: |
