Thank you Christina...you're a sweetheart!

Susan ~ Don't they have to give you some kind of notice or warning before they can just start garnishing you? How do they expect someone on a single income with children, to just have that kind of money?:?:
|
SUSAN...geez, louise...I forgot to mention Gaby not feeling well, poor baby. I hope it's nothing bad. But then having a fever and feeling bad IS bad enough. I hate seeing the little ones feeling icky. Glad Rach is home! :carrot: And I would definitely take rocky up on his offer! Two weeks in HAwaii?! I would be there so fast it would make my head spin! :dizzy: Sorry you dribbled, lol! That sounds funny to me for some reason. Do I need to send you a bib? Sorry about the granishment, ouch! That's gotta hurt. Other than that I hope you are having a nice day. I better get going, V will be home in about 5 mns. Chat with ya later.

Michelle Maybe this quote from Swindoll will help you. It helped me when I was losing weight. Anyway, that amount is 25 % of my net income....lol. That is how they come up with that amount. So, I will pay rent, car and insurance and let everything else slide. Though I don't mind getting a weekend job. I have 2 weeks to figure this out!! :D I just found out this morning. My head is pounding and I really want some child support ...lol
Cristi Gaby complained alllllll night. We didn't get any sleep. There was no fever until this morning. She had been complaining of her mouth hurting. She was fine until she took her bath and went downhill fast. Ya, send me a bib.....lol....thanks! The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.” ~Charles Swindoll |
Hi I'm back for a few minutes
I thought of something else I do with lentils and bulgur. I mush them up, add cheese and use them for burrito stuffing. Will be doing that tonight for the kids. Susan - sorry about the $$ anyway they can spread the garnishment out over a few more months...seems kind of harsh to slam you in two months. Good news about Hawaii - hope you can go soon. I also hope Gaby feels better soon, poor thing. Michelle - ditto on hanging in there! You'll get moving again...hard to get motivated when our weather has been so hot, but you will get there I know it! Cristina - Have fun at the candle party! My obsession today has been this site: http://craftlit.libsyn.com/ My two favorite time-suckers - knitting and books. Now both at the same time. I've been downloading all the entries and will start listening to Pride and Prejudice tomorrow. I don't have an ipod, so I just listen off my Windows Media Player - ahh bliss Off to pick up DS from a playdate....hope everyone had a good day |
Hi there, a quickie here.
Thank you so much all for the great welcome.
Shawna - Three Girls! Now that must be some fun time shopping. Oh to be a teen again! RoiseKate I used to love to knit, of course all my scarves would have these great holes in them! I said I loved to knit but didn't tell you how bad I was at it! JulesI love the Olive Garden, Thank God the one here is several miles away or I would be in trouble! Susan It has been a long hard time and we always thought we had it bad but then something worse would come along and happen. If it doesn't kill you, it will make you stronger!!! Faith and Hope - That is what kept us going and the show is good too!!! LOL CristinaThanks for the Hugs, I could use them! Tonight we are going out to dinner, I have been doing half Jenny Craig and half regular meals so tonight will be a good test. I usually do okay but today I am STARVING!!!! I look forward to talking to you all. |
Just lost my last post--don't know what i did..but here goes again..
Katy--that is a really cool website. My DH loves lentils!! The burrito stuffing sounds good. SuzyQ--I hope Rach does good now that she's home--what about the evil runaway friend? Is she out of the picture?? How's Beck? Poor little Gaby--I hope she feels better soon. I should tell you my story sometime--and my son's escapades from 8th grade to quitting school--to spending the night drunk in jail on his 18th bday--oh and then getting picked up for underage drinking on his 19th bday--he called me to get his own money to bail himself out that time--thankfully he came through on the other side and is doing really well--he joked that I should look on the bright side since this year he turned 21 that he would never go to jail for underage drinking again. Michelle ma belle-your daughters are beautiful!! which one has the nutty MIL? Cristina--I will only get to go to Olove Garden if I can convince DH--he will not want to drive that far--my son wants to go to a microbrewery in Frederick(www.brewers-alley.com) There are so many more restaurant choices there. Well DH is calling--his doctor's apointment is 9:30 tomorrow morning--hopefully they wil figure out why he hasn't been feeling right. He thinks he might have a hernia that went in instead of out. We will see... Goodnight everyone!! |
Mari--your story is inspiring. Keep up the good work!!

Stessing some. I had a piece of coffee cake (so yummy) and a 1/2 a cheeseburger from BurgerKing. I need to stop this now!!!
Jules - Rach seems fine. She is into country music and wants to move out to Oregon City,,,,lol - Oregon City is out from us. It has a wonderful high school though and the best in girls basketball. She made a lot of friends that she says are her brothers and sisters. I started to cry. Mari- Hope you do ok on your dinner out!! :) Katy- Payroll just said 25% of my monthly net. I think when you think of spread you are thinking of manure....lol haha,,,,,I just want to get it over with. I am a good problem solver. I think we will do away with the babysitting and I can take the bus to work and save on gas - I spend 40 a week just on that. I better get. Rach was asking to see Paradise Lost - something she saw while away. So we are going for that. Trying to stay away from the coffee cake. Gaby is still not feeling good but doesn't have a temp. Might take her to my mothers again in the morning. Night everyone!! Deb we miss you!!!! |
Susan ~~ My youngest daughter goes to OC High School. She will be a senior next year. I'll be so glad when she's done with school, and I'm done driving her to and from school, and dealing with all the high schoolers who think they know how to drive in the parking lot...NOT! They don't even look when they're backing out of their parking spot, and I've seen many so close calls happen.:dizzy:

Good morning ladies,
The sun is shining already, so today will be one busy day I am sure. Didn't have a chance to post last night, my Josh and his fiance' are home and ds#3 came over for supper, then the fiance's mom came over for another wedding planning session, and I had to do payroll and I didn't get to my dishes till 10 pm last night. After that I was to tired... anyway remember when I said how deaths come in threes, well the third one happened. We have to go to the funeral home now after work on Sunday. My sister's mil died. She'd been sick a long time, she was about 85. I have to ask all of you a guestion. Are your body sides equal? I'm serious. I know our bodies are not symetrical but they should look like they belong to the same body. My left side is larger than my right. I have had two doctors comment on this. It started off when I was nursing way back when....my doctor says my left breast is bigger. I had noticed it too. Then many years later my back specialist asked me why my left leg was bigger than my right. He is asking me, like he's the doctor, tell me. If you look at just my legs, you would not believe they both belong on the same body. They are shaped differently and the one is definetly larger. The same with my arms. I've tried to look this up but haven't found anything helpful. Just wondered if anyone else had this problem. Welcome to the newbies, sorry I can't do individuals I don't remember most of what I scanned thru last night quickly. This coming week will be the wildest then it should settle down again. Well, have to get moving, need to accomplish a few more things before I head out the door. Have a great day. Ginny |
good morning
Well, it has been a long night, my dh has been up all night throwing up and has the poo poos, he called in to school this morning and they said 20 other people are out today with it. so its either a food poisoning or a stomach virus. hopefully its food poisoning, cause i dont want it.....im working 11-9 today...........so im getting ready to go workout. need to make my protein shake and a blueberry kashi waffle with no sugar added syrup.....havent tried them before so it will be interesting. im going to do cardio and upper body workout today. tomorrow will be rest day, were going on a double date with some friends of ours, not sure what i will be eating, but i give myself a cheat meal once a week, so i guess that will be it .....ok off to burn some calories....ttyl

Well everyone...it appears that my honeymoon is over. :( After 3 weeks in a row of loosing 4 lbs each week.... WEIGH IN DAY: -0 LBS LOST  Ok...so....honeymoon is over. Now time to get to the real work! I think this is the period most people give up on a diet...I WILL NOT FALL FOR THAT!!!! It is more important now than ever for me to be strong!!! From now on, I will expect to see more of 1 - 2 lbs lost each week instead of 3 or 4 since I am out of that "starting new diet" faze. |
Ginny--my right breast is definitly bigger--so much so that I keep telling my hubby that I wish I could get it reduced (and both lifted) I finally found a bra at Lane bryant that had these little plastic things to lift you up--well I left it off the right one and put it in the left side and it seems to help a little. When I do tape measurments my right arm and upper thigh are just a little bigger than the left. There was a three year period starting my junior year in high school where I went through 4 sets of 3 deaths. It was really hard. When oour two friends were in the hospital I keep waiting for the third.
How about them searching for Jimmy Hoffa in MI again after 31 years??? Michelle ma belle--I used to take dd to school in the mornings & she rode the bus home in the afternoons or rode to work with her friend until she got her liscense and could drive herself. I am suprised their are not more accidents in the parking lot. SuzyQ--it sounds like Rach got some of the anger out--hope she meets & makes some new friends--maybe it wouldn't be so bad to start fresh at a new school so she doesn't go back to hanging with the same people. Hi to everyone else---gtta get a shower so we can go to DH's DR appt. |
Hi Shawna--the Kashi waffle are a little different but not bad--sometimes I use a little honey instead of syrup.
Bep--I lost 10 pounds in January and have been stalled ever since--I am losing inces and clothes are looser--I'll take what I can get!! |
