Good morning gals! Must be heavy pollen here as my allergies seem to be at an all time high. Even though they aren't supposed to, my meds make me either grumpy or sleepy so I try and take them at bed, but they dry me out SO much that my tear ducts swell. I guess I need to go back and see if he can change them. Problem is, the practice we belong to is very hard to get into and secondly, it seems they change doctors like people change shoes. In two years time we have had 4 doctors and I am not sure if it will be the same one next time. I don't even know the name of the current one!
Jean: Poor babies, outcasts at such a young age. To have this in their records following them for the rest of their lives....

Sounds to me like she has too many kids. I know kids can be a handful, but if you are in the business to take care of them, you have to expect live wires once in awhile.
This is our free casino weekend. Well, it isn't free exactly, as we gave them the money in the first place so to speak!

We have two free days, 4 free buffets and $25 in cash back so we are going down Sunday and Monday. Looks like all we will have to pay for is a dinner. Jack has to have blood drawn and a doctor's appt on Tuesday so he will have a nice 4 day weekend.
The mystery of the male horrible hot flash is solved. For several months now, Jack has had these horrible sporadic bouts where, he gets this huge hot flash, his skin flushes bright red over his whole body, his pulse races (last time up to 170), his skin prickles all over and his temp goes up. This starts out intense and gradually declines over about 15 minutes. I have tried looking everywhere to see if I could find something causing this. I finally called his cardiologist yesterday and left a message for the nurse to call me back. Come to find out, the nurse that issued Jack his latest prescription 6 months ago forgot to TELL him this was a side effect. The nurse told me to tell him to take an Advil or Aleve or an aspirin about half hour before he takes the Niaspam and it will keep it from happening. I guess I should have called my dil, who is a pharmacist, and asked her but I looked at his med and it didn't list this as a side effect on the paperwork so I thought he might has some "condition." You should see the poor man when this happens. It happened night before last just as he got into bed. He turned on the lights and his body looked like he had a vicious sunburn. I guess this stuff must inflame the capillaries or something and the anti-inflammatory like aspirin, etc keeps it in check. It sure is miserable for him while it last though. He didn't say so, but I think it scared him when it would happen and rightly so. A woman my age would chalk it up to menopause issues, but a man sure wouldn't!
Well, I have vacuuming today and another day on the treadmill. I have lofty goals to reach before vacation next year and I have to be really really good.
Have a great day
