I had to come back and answer your scale question. I use to get on the scale every day but noticed it moved on the 5/6 day after being steady all week. Weird.
So, you could weigh every day but I think that is frustrating.
Also, I would consider a new scale. Might be off now that you have been storing things on top of it *roll eyes* I bet you use wire hangers too?? lol

Its raining today, not as warm as yesterday, but its not that black dreary just a lighter shade of gray dreary,(isn't that a song):lol: I had a strange experience last night,one of a few actually :lol:(Susan) but my eyes kind of went haywire on me, there was this white circle with jagged sparkling edges and I couldn' get it to go away could see things around it but not in front. I thought maybe my blood pressure spiked or something ,so I took some aspirin and prayed when I woke up I could see. It was kinda scary, but today its gone for now anyway (NO I HAVEN'T BEEN SMOKING ANYTHING):lol:

Happy sunny Hump day..... Hope everyone is nice and cheery today. I am feeling pretty good. Already walked 2 miles due to it looking like rain earlier. Thought I would get it in just in case of a storm and here it is beautiful now. Took DH lunch to the new lot where he is either working hard or worrying the builder..lol.
My backyard is full of goldfinch! No hummingbirds yet this year though. I hope we have lots of birds at the new house. DH has already seen an Indigo Bunting which I have only had once here.
Susan and Ellen...you both keep me laughing. I think if you lived next to each other you would be such inseperable friends. Good to have long distance friends isn't it?
Jane...YAY! for your move.
Angie...You stay so busy with the plays and everything you do. How do you keep up your energy? Oh well, I forget that most of you ladies are younger than I am. I am just pooped most of the time. LOL
Ginny...I am sorry that you are going to lose your pet. I always hate that part of having the little loves. Right now we don't have any, but would have a small dog if we didn't travel.

I am going to go clean the screened porch so I can open all the windows and feel this wonderful breeze. Later I need to "hoe" the flower beds.

P.S. I have been weighing every day after seeing a report on people who do that losing more weight. Don't believe it... I am going back to once a week...less depressing that way.

Anyway, I did find this apt complex on River Rd (very nice road) close to my mothers and a 2 bed is only $610 and a 3 bed is $700. Very nice and across from the grade school. No vacancies though.
No new shoes yet Ellen. Maybe Friday after I get my bonus and payday! I need to go find me a water bottle and start on the water.

Susan... my salad wasn't as good as yours was , just a simple lettuce, cucumber , red pepper , with some croutons with a nice balsamic vinigerette dressing, from Ellens Kitchen. She makes a simple but uncomplicated delectible deliteful dish :lol: Lets go to Angie's according to my reading expertise she has a box of snuff on her scale right now as we speak :lol::rofl:

I'm back, finally! :D

SUSAN & ELLEN...was just down in the dumps, nothing seriously wrong or anything like that. April 10 is the day our baby (son) was born/died and is always a hard day. But with V's BD April 11 I snap out of it to make his day special. He hates his BD now because of April 10 and us spending his BD in 2000 at the funeral home. Our son is always in our thoughts but when that day nears and comes it is still hard-he would have been 6 years old. Anyway...

So that was Monday...Tuesday being V's BD we spent the whole day together like we always do. He always takes off work for his and mine when we have something planned for mine. We went to lunch, did some shopping, got my wedding rings cleaned and went to the show. Saw Inside Job and was bored. Not good like I thought it was going to be. And today I have been running around like crazy. :crazy: Bought groceries this morning and still don't have them put up. LOL Trying to water the lawn and do laundry in between spending some time on the computer.

ELLEN...don't blame ya for not passing on the cheesecake! I wouldn't have either. Your kitchen and living room sound FABULOUS! Can't wait to see the end results!

SUSAN...maybe you should have a talk with Doug and tell him that he can't keep letting Rachel run to him when things don't go her way. But then you probably have already done that huh? Sorry she called you that horrible name. :hug:

MARTI...you and James will have a great time in SF! I think we are headed to Branson for our anniversary next month. That's where we went for our honeymoon because I didn't want to go far from home/kids and I love it there. But when we renewed our vows we went to Eureka Springs, AR and was thinking about going there too. Not both places of course, but one or the other. V is actually taking 3 or 4 days off, or is is 4 or 5??? Can't remember, lol.

JANE...how fun...moving into your new home that is. Have fun decorating and fixing it up!

I have had them for many years, it took several doctors to finally give it a name. I had them all the time, it is scary at first, once I was diagnosed now I just tolerate them.. bad news is there is no way to stop them once they start, and not really any way to prevent them either..next time you are at the optomotrist or eye doctor tell him about it, he will tell you.

I am not going riding this evening. At work today we did a lot of stretching and reaching :workout: and my back, which gives me a lot of trouble anyway.. is really acting up.. I spent half an hour in my air jet tub soaking, that felt good. NOw I took some pills so going to let them work. But tomorrow I'll be back on the bike.I rode 8 miles last night and the stretching etc at work should count for something.

Well, think I'll go to bed early. Hope I am not to sore in the morning.

Well, I canceled the My Space; just couldn't get past the creepy factor. It's like Susan said, all teenagers and pervs. DH said there's been some trouble at his high school with students threatening each other over MySpace. Today some students of his were telling him about a former student who has topless photos on there and they are all the talk in the hallways. I figure if I want to blog one of these days, I can find another place to do it. And I WON'T be posting topless photos:o Sorry. I knew you were all looking forward to that :devil:
