Fell off the 'eating plan' wagon last night - sugar was REALLY needed. Did still do the bike although really wasn't keen. Better today so far. Have just been out to the airport to look at a builing where we're doing the electrics and water stuff. Still some work to be done but nice to get to see the building on the ground and not just on a plan! Another letter has just arrived.

HI Everyone! How are you all doing?? I'm going to go and get some art supplies for Ryan, seems he has the urge to paint! What a cool kid! Have a great day!:carrot:

Sigh... Friday is finally here and I've fallen off the SBD wagon. TOM is coming so that may be the reason and it is also cold. Got heartily sick of my roasted veggie breakfast quiche after day 4. This am was porridge and cheese. Hope to have some time over the weekend to think about this and try something else. Maybe keeping a food diary will help, but I'm notoriously bad at keeping it up. Think that the change of seasons may be getting me down, even though it is lovelly and sunny out.

Sorry about the vent. No work or really nasty work, so that's not helping either. May go and get myself ONE jam donut after lunch and get a five min walk in at the same time. Will make sure to hit the rescue rem tonight as well.

Hope to feel better Monday. Have a lovelly weekend and Wendy, I hope you enjoyed the painting! I think I need to start piano lessons or something soon as well.

Get me in a craft store and I go wild! I am now making jewelry box's to give away as little gifts, what fun!! I made one and painted it already and it turned out great!Relly pretty with flowers and butterflies on it!. I'm really tired today and need a nap in the worst way but it doesn't look like I'll be getting one in before dinner since it's already 4:40Pm here.
Tonight is Moms night out and a bunch of Moms go out for snacks and drinks so I might go to that, haven't decided yet, pretty tired, maybe to tired:( :?:
Off for a shower, maybe that will wake me up a little.
Have a wonderful weekend!
W.

Hello??:(

megsa 05-15-2006 02:30 AM

Hey Wendy - Looks like it was a really quiet weekend! I've started back on the WW bandwagon this am. Hope to stick to it for the week and see a change. Trying to add a bit of SBD to WW! Protein does use up lots of points though. I did manage to chomp my way through TWO slabs of chocolate yesterday.  I did also weigh myself and have changed my ticker to reflect this. Don't like the feeling of putting on weight, so hoping to do something about it again.

I was getting lomely here!!!
I'm doing ok with everything, haven't gained weight anyway, but haven'y exactly been eating properly either.
I'm just doing the finishing touch ups on the trailer then have to find a way to haul it up to the lake, hopefully be the weekend.
Catch ya later,
W.

Wendy - Wish I could say that I haven't gained! Put myself back on WW and yesterday went ok. Today so far is also ok. I'm trying to make sure that I get a protein in with each meal. I even got on my bike again last night and did 30min. I can't believe that I let myself backslide so much, so quickly! I don't think that the weekend away helped, when there was so much pasta and bread around. I've had some work so far today and the rest of the time I've been sitting on an internet dating site. One of my friends put me onto it and I've been enjoying it the last few days. It can be quite addictive! Wish that we had a nice lake close to us here! Wouldn't mind being closer to the 'Berg agian, or the beach!

Megsa~ Have fun on those dating sites! I did that for awhile but decided to go with the real live guys instead!hehe! Although I know ALOT of people that have met their significant other online! Good luck to you!
The pasta and brad would have done me in for sure! I would have gained 10lbs during the weekend alone!
Off to the park today, it's nice and sunny out!Yippee!!
Take care, chat soon!

Hey Wendy - The pasta and bread was such a bad idea for me! I managed to put on 3kgs! Now on day 3 WW and going ok. Have decided to skip weights this week and just try for cardio everyday. 30mins is really not long and very doable. Two days down and 5 to go! I'm enjoying the chatting on the dating site for the moment. We don't have much public transport here and I'm not mobile car wise, so this works for me at the moment. Having my mom living with me in a flat doesn't make it easy for meeting guys! Neither does being slightly anti-social like I am either! A bit warmer here today, but there is a major cold front on it's way and will hit over the weekend. Will be one for lots of coffee and a book in bed!

Enjoy the park!

I went out dancing last night and think I'm allergic to alchohol! I can't even have 2 now without getting a bad hangover!:dizzy: Crazy!
I have recently got back into reading and have started slow with some Anne Rice and Dean R Koontz, can you recommend some great books to read?

What kind of books are you looking for? I love to read when I have time.
I know that Anne Rice is horror and koontz is suspense isn't he?
If you liked the movie A Walk to Remember and Notebook I would recommend Nicolas Sparks. I have all of his books and they are SO good!
I also like horror such as Anne Rice and Stephine King. My DH makes such fun of me for bouncing around in reading material. It all depends on my moods..:D

I used to LOVE Stephen King, but I thought they were slow to get to the point, then I picked up on Dean R Koonts and found him to be a lot better! I'll read pretty much anything that can grab my interest, even slip in a romance here and there, gotta have SOME romance!
I just read Dr. Phils "love smart" it was ok, but repetative in a way, kind of got boring towards the end. I got the hint that it's not me it's who I chose for a mate that makes my relationships sour! lol!
I'll look into Nicholas Sparks for sure! Thanks!

megsa 05-18-2006 03:22 AM

Hey Wendy - love the new photo, is it taken near where you live? Books wise hmmmm, for a bit of romance with a good story try JD Robb - I'm REALLY enjoying those at the mo and keep buying more! Also Kathy Reichs - better than Patricia Cornwell and not quite a gory. John Sandford for suspense and an entertaining lead character.

Hi! My avatar was taken off an e-mail that was sent to me, I think it's just gorgeous! Can you believe that it's a real picture! No idea where it is but I'd sure like to be sitting in the middle of it all!
Thanks for the info on books/authors, I'll be hitting the book store next week and checking things out for sure!
Going to get my spare room cleaned out so Ryan can have a play room,I don't have a basement here so any room will help!
Take care,
W.
