All ideas of diet and exercise are out the window for the day.....maybe the weekend....just don't feel like it!

Catch ya's all later!

a couple of days off won't hurt wendy. you're allowed some guilt free leisure

i've lost 2 lb so i am trying to be sensible and not put it straight back on (which is what i usually do). i see the weight loss and think oh i can relax and then ooops that wasn't a good idea LOL

off to drinkies this afternoon to celbrate. won't that be good. more stormy weather coming so i will run out and gather some sticks for the fire

Wide in Winnipeg 04-30-2006 09:42 AM

Sweet~ good job on the 2lbs!How did the drinkies go? Did you have fun??I went out on Friday night for a couple drinkies too! Kind of a stress relief from what I had been going through, thank goodness it was only a couple though, hangovers and 2 year olds don't mix!
I'm taking Ryan out for breakfast today, I think we will both eat well! Then who knows what for the rest of the day...
Have a good one ladies!
Wendy

the drinks didn't happen! my friend didn't get back in time and she didn't let me know until after 8pm so i was a bit disappointed. still at least one of us got out for drinks

i saw a house today that i really like but i'm not quite ready to purchase. i am still waiting to get everything in writing from the purchaser. normally that wouldn't be a problem but another buyer is putting in an offer on the house so i would need to act within let's see 10 hours in order to get my offer in at the same time. unbelievable!!! i've looked at a lot of houses and this is the best but i don't want to take a risk. i can see why the other people jumped so quickly. there aren't many as good as this around. grrrr!!! i can't sleep thinking about it

So what did you decide on the house? Hows the stress level?
I am gonna go through major withdrawl come Wednesday! I am off to Arizona to visit my brother and his family for a couple of days.

sweet_pea 05-01-2006 05:33 PM

i bought it!!! but it's a bit of a leap of faith. the buyer for this house still hasn't signed the agreement. when i spoke to him yday he said it was all go and that he was heading to the lawyer in the afternoon to talk to him about it. gaaaah first time buyers are such nervous nellies. and the thing is that i am selling privately which means that it's harder to chase up with the buyer. if i had an agent they could sit with him and nag him. i may have to do that anyway. i'll give it until midday today and if i haven't heard i will phone him.

funnily enough my major stress is not the selling of this house. i'm fairly calm about that at this stage. i'm more concerned with how i am going to fence the new place so the dogs don't escape and get run over. it's a farm and only has 3-5 wires across fence posts and my girls will be able to slip through those easy peasy. i've been worrying about letting them out at night and not seeing them run off. never mind it will only be a couple of weeks and then i will have a fencing guy come in and sort it out, put in gates etc

overall i'm doing ok

withdrawal? from us at 3FC???? awwww that's cute. but won't it be fun to go somewhere new for a visit? hope you have a good trip.

sweet_pea 05-02-2006 07:55 PM

megsa 05-03-2006 04:59 AM

Hello Ladies,

I'm BACK!! I had a wonderful time and of course ate WAAAAYYY too much, but it was mostly with friends etc :cofdate: so will just jump back on the wagon next week. The weather at the coast was spectacular and sunny and warm, and then I got back up here last night and it feels like the antarctic has moved north a few degrees!:shocksn:

Babsy - welcome. Will enjoy getting to know you here.

Sweet - :bravo: on the new house! As my mom would say, "There is now a vacuum in the worry area, some new worry will soon appear to fill it, however unlikely it would be!" Take a bit of time (even only a few minutes) to enjoy this.

Wendy - Glad that the court date is now behind you for a while.

sli - Hi there ;)

I will now go off and pretend to be working until the PE gets back from his meeting.

food in the last 2 days has been bad bad bad. far too much sugar and snacking and i am just doing silly stuff. i have to haul myself out of this i am being ridiculous!

meg welcome back. glad you had fun on your holiday. it sounds neat to catch up with your friends

sli 05-03-2006 07:48 AM

Well, I am getting ready to go to Arizona, where right now there it is 71 (here 48) but the high there today is like 97. Now thats warm. I bought the 3FC book to read on the plane so I am loooking forward to that.
I told my brother that if his wife starts cooking big meals and lots of deserts then I am on the next flight back home. I am gonna do my best not to eat myself sensless.

sweat_pea Try not to worry about the past two days just look at today as a new day. We have all fallen at one point or another.

Megsa Hey there  Where was your vacation to?

Bye ladies:D

megsa 05-03-2006 10:15 AM

Sli - I went to Cape Town which is about 1000km SW on the coast. It is the place that almost EVERYONE in the world wants to see, and it is amazing! The South Easter blew gales for a few days, but I did manage to get to three beaches - with very little skin showing! I borders on the Atlantic so it feels a bit like you've put your feet into ice water! It was warmer than here though!

Enjoy your trip to Arizona.

Meg
