Awww, it's nice to be missed! Good to see you, Linda. Howie and I have been struggling to stay on plan and you know how that goes...Posting tends to go down when we're down. Thanks for the nudge.

Morning all! Seems we're all struggling as of late! Alan's been gone for the last two days, and I have totally let my plan go out the window. The only bright spot has been going to the gym. I've really enjoyed it!

I'm feeling sluggish today. I've had too much sugar and not enough sleep. I'm hoping today's workout will revive me. In the meanwhile, it will have to be coffee!!

Nice to see you here, Linda! Hope you stay awhile with us!

*Yawn*...Sipping coffee. What happened to the nightowl? LOL

Howie woke me with coffee and an egg sandwich...Mmmmm. A few days a week, we've been eating an egg sandwich in the mornings in place of Kashi. An egg really does stave off hunger more than even protein-rich cereal.

Well, on my final night in Seattle I ate Taco Bell (we don't have it in Canada, novelty thing), bought crap loads of Vitamin Water (also not in Canada) and cut my hair. It was to the middle of my back, and now its just below my ears.. not entirely sure what prompted this (went to a walk in place).. but it feels pretty good.

Its the end of an era, these days I've experienced won't happen again. It's sad to be over, my brother is sad as well.. but what a gift. I guess I'm sentimental tonight.. I should be packing since there aren't any more stores open Wow... it's over.

Gosh Aimee--it went SO FAST!!! I hope you accomplished everything you wanted to!

Not feeling the greatest today--my throat is sore and scratchy. I usually get throat ailments a couple of times a year, during the allergy season. Lucky me!

How is everyone doing with their plan??

It went quickly, as all good things seem to, eh? It really was a special thing to be able to do.

I've lost 3 pounds this week, down to 209 now. I know a lot had to have been water, but I'll take it any way I can get it. It's becoming easier to get back into the groove.

Howie surprised me yesterday, e-mailing me a link to a Crop In Style XXL scrapbook tote I've been wanting for months, saying I could go ahead and buy it. "Happy springtime", says my hubby. Guess he's on call this weekend and we had the extra money. Woo!

I called stores all over our town and Columbus and no one had them except one, Archiver's. I checked online, and with shipping I would have only saved $15 or $20 on the price..And waited up to 10 days for it to get here. LOL We drove into the store last night with our friends Keith and Ivana tagging along, a nice night out.

Pssssst! Where y'all hiding? It's a beautiful day here in Ohio, so I suspect you might be out enjoying your own nice weather.

Good morning!

It has been a busy weekend for me! We are now moved into our friends' home. We still have some things to put in storage, but other than that, we are getting settled rather well. We are getting used to having five dogs in the house!

It has been a GREAT weekend plan wise! I have been to the gym two days in a row, and I've eaten according to plan. It feels so good to be in control! When I was assessed at the gym on Saturday morning, my weight was 316. I have no idea what my weight on my home scale is, since I packed it and don't know where I put it!! Oh well...I know where I am headed!

Hope everyone is well!! It has definitely been quiet around here! Kimberley, it is nice to see your scale is moving back in the right direction! And the scrapbook bag looks really COOL! I keep telling myself I want to do that, but haven't gotten around to starting anything. Maybe one day....

Good for you being on plan. I succumbed to the siren call of McDonald's this afternoon Wasn't even hungry, just got it on impulse as I went through intending to just get a large Diet Coke. Dumb, dumb, dumb. But what can I do except go on?

The scrapbook bag is neat, basically rolling luggage with storage dividers in it. It sure makes things easier! I wouldn't be as active in it as I am were it not for my friend Ivana. She's inspired me to get off the computer and use my hands again.

Yesterday afternoon, Howie and I redid our pond. The original, pre-formed liner had a leak in it and needed to be replaced, so we removed it and replaced it with a rubber pond liner. There was enough sticking out the end, I was able to mound the soil some beneath it and make a rock waterfall over the side of the pond. Howie sloped the pond's sides more when he removed the old liner, so now it has a little more surface area and looks a lot bigger. I had move-the-large-rocks duty, so I'm a bit sore today, but not too bad. It felt good to get outside and work together in the yard!

You'll have to take photos of the pond, Kimberley! Would love to see the work you have done!

It was too bright out to take them earlier, and now it's dark. LOL I'll have to take some tomorrow in between rain showers.

That's fine...whenever you can!

My scales at home this morning said 308....methinks the gym scale and home scale are vastly different!

Alan dropped a bomb on me yesterday--he's headed out on a week long business trip to IRELAND at the end of the week! He'll be flying into Manchester, England, which is close to where he's from. He'll visit his hometown for a couple of days, then fly to Dublin for business. I'm excited for him, but I will really miss him!!

Man, is my weight up after this weekend! On Thursday, we drove down to Va Beach for my sister's wedding (on Saturday). We stopped at Subway for dinner Thursday during the drive, so that wasn't too bad. Then we got to the cottages (my sis and her now husband rented 2 ocean-front cottages for their families instead of putting us in hotels--they were huge and GORGEOUS!), and my family (mother, father, 2 aunts, uncle, and sister) had gone shopping and bought food for the cottages: full-fat cheese, cookies, ice cream... Then on Friday, hubby-to-be planned a breakfast out at a restaurant for all the ladies in the house. This was followed by manicures and pedicures at a spa (and they were kind enough to offer us cheese, cookies, and many types of assorted chocolate candies). After the rehearsal, we went to Captain George's for dinner, a HUGE seafood buffet with LOTS of FRIED seafood. I did get some broccoli in an attempt to be good, but then I had 3 different desserts, so so much for that attempt Dinner at the wedding included breaded chicken cordon bleu or seafood-stuffed flounder (with cheese and in some sort of buttery sauce, of course). It was a fabulous wedding, but a disasterous weekend of eating for me! I guess I managed to dance off a few of the calories at the reception, though, because I wasn't up as much as I had expected to be (but definitely still up).

I don't think I will be able to go to my meeting this week (Thursday night) because bright and early Monday morning, my boss called the 4 of us writers into her office to announce that it was going to be **** week--MAJOR proposals due with lots of work needed on them. I worked 10 hours yesterday and already came in an hour early this morning, plus since one of the proposals is due on Monday, she said we can expect to have to work this weekend. I did put my foot down and say that I can't work Friday (which I talked about with her last week) or Saturday since it is my SRD here in VA, but I will likely still have to come in and put a few hours in on Sunday. When is a girl supposed to exercise (or cook or unpack or clean the apartment or breathe... )?!

Alright, enough of a break--time to get back to proposal land...

Jill -- Translate SRD? I'm having a brain blip.

Today's been cool and rainy, so I've been doing stuff indoors. I've moved furniture all around the house, by myself. Thank God for hardwood floors. When I think of how relatively easy it is to move large pieces of furniture , even from room to room, I wonder if I really want wall-to-wall carpet. We do tend to re-arrange furniture a lot. LOL

Ugh, I am sore. Better get back at it so Howie doesn't come home to no place to sit and a zoned-out wife who's gotten to the point of indecisiveness.
